This was our second stay at Lumos Deluxe, as we visited last year and really enjoyed it — that’s why we decided to come back. Unfortunately, this time our experience wasn’t nearly as good. The biggest disappointment was the housekeeping. The room was often left dirty, and even when we left a tip, all they did was make the bed — nothing else was properly cleaned. We had a jacuzzi in the room, which was a nice upgrade, but it was dirty as well. Even after asking several times for it to be cleaned, it never really was. Food-wise, I’d give it a 4 out of 5. It was okay, but more repetitive and not as good as last year. The à la carte restaurant, however, was a disaster — we waited around 15 minutes just to get water, and the staff rushed to clear plates before we were even done eating. The fish was full of bones (which shouldn’t happen with white fish), and the food overall was pretty bad, though the presentation looked fine. Entertainment was one of the better parts — the shows this year were more varied and interesting, and the animation team did a good job keeping guests entertained. Service overall felt worse than before. The staff didn’t seem as friendly or smiling as last year, and the cocktails were disappointing. Also, it sometimes felt like the hotel catered mainly to Russian-speaking guests, and English wasn’t used much, which made it harder for others to communicate comfortably. Overall, if last year was a solid 5-star experience, this one barely reaches 3. It’s a shame, because we really liked this place before, but sadly, we’re not sure we’d return again.

Overall, the experience was nice, but there are a few points worth mentioning. The food was generally the same every day, except for one evening when they had a special selection including seafood, sushi, kebab, and more. Personally, the food was not much to my taste, as most dishes were meat in sauces, and there were fewer simple options like grilled chicken or plain meals. Another downside was the evening barbecue, where the meat was sometimes undercooked and still pink inside. The rooms were well-arranged daily, and I really appreciated the towel art. Towels were changed every day if left on the floor, which was good. However, the cleaning could have been more thorough – there was no vacuuming during the stay, and the toilet was only sanitized upon arrival. Overall, it was a decent stay with some highlights, but I think there is room for improvement, especially with food variety and cleaning standards.

Great Family Holiday with Lots for Kids! We stayed as a family of 10 (5 adults and 5 kids) in August, paying £850 per person. The kids absolutely loved the holiday – from the wide range of attractions to the endless desserts and non-alcoholic cocktails, they were always entertained. The hotel rooms could use a bit of TLC, as some areas show signs of wear and age. However, the staff were super friendly and helpful, the rooms were kept clean, and the outdoor areas were well maintained. One thing to note is the location – it’s quite remote, with only a couple of local shops nearby. We needed to take a taxi into Alanya, which cost around £10–£12 each way. On the plus side, the hotel had a private beach with a bar, which was great for both the kids and adults. Highly recommended for families who aren’t expecting a brand-new, luxury resort but are looking for a fun, relaxed, and friendly place to enjoy time together.

We are currently on vacation (09/30) and couldn’t be happier with this hotel. Everything is tidy and spotless, the rooms are clean and well maintained, the food is delicious, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Bars are located throughout the hotel, serving drinks and food all day long. The reception staff are always welcoming, ready to answer any questions and assist in every possible way. We highly recommend this place — 100%!

We’ve been coming to the Mediterranean or Aegean regions of Turkey as a family every year for the past 10 years, and this is the first time we’ve ended up in a hotel of such poor quality. Strengths: Unlike many other hotels, the food here is actually good and very tasty, even though it’s almost the same meals every day. The rooms are relatively small but always very clean. The spa is nice and very well managed. Weaknesses: Don’t trust the photos of the pools – there are only two pools, and they are very small. The sun loungers are packed tightly together, and if you don’t wake up by 8 AM, you’re likely not going to get a spot. The two pools simply can’t accommodate the number of hotel guests. As for the beach, it’s located on the other side of the road and is open to everyone, including people who are not staying at the hotel. This makes it difficult to find a place to sit. The evening show is really, really poor quality. There isn’t even an amphitheater; the show takes place by the pool, with chairs replacing the sun loungers. The all-you-can-eat restaurant is too small for the number of tourists staying at the hotel. Sometimes we had to walk around for 15 minutes with our trays just to find a seat. Overall, the hotel is very small and quite far from the city. This is definitely not a 5-star hotel — at best, it’s a 3-star.
