Great trip overall. This location and its proximity to Times Square and the Amtrak is unmatched and there is an immense amount of eateries and restaurants near.
While the rooms were small and no window access, the beautiful property and welcoming staff and environment made this trip a success. Giovanni was amazing and went above and beyond to make my 2 nights comfortable. The property offered a $30 F&B credit upon checking in and it went to great use.

If it weren’t for the horrible rooms, this hotel would be great. The rooms are much smaller than normal Moxy rooms. There is no desk. If you sit up in bed, you will get your head on the bunk bed above. If you request an ironing board, you will get a miniature one and have to iron on top of your bed. This place is great for a student but not for families or business. There are too many choices around this hotel and I wouldn’t stay there again. Please don’t come back and tell me that these rooms were designed for efficiency. They were designed to maximize revenue, period. I have seen some of the owner responses and they sound like planned responses that are far from reality. Having no windows, minimal space, miniature ironing boards, etc. isn’t what people are looking for. However, that said, I get that this hotel isn’t counting on repeat customers when you have so many people traveling to the area
All that said, people are very nice at the hotel and it is well located.

Our stay here was definitely a vibe! Loved the vintage/modern design of the space. Leddy checked us in and gave us all the details of our stay. I was overwhelmed by the use of elevators, but she took the time to show us how it works before sending us on our way.
I gave this hotel 5 stars because of the cleanliness. My room was spotless and my bathroom was spotless! We stayed in one of the suits and had plenty of hooks to hang and put away our belongings. The bed was comfortable, but I wish the pillows were firmer.
If you wear makeup every day and need "normal" lighting you will be disappointed. However I don't wear makeup so I didn't have any issues.
This place has everything we needed in our stay, bar, nightlife, lounge, and location. They played music all night and we loved it. So if a little music is going to keep you from sleeping this may frustrate you in the late evening. Thank you to all the staff we encountered to help make our stay enjoyable. Moxy... We'll be back!

Rooms are smaller than a prison cell! no room to open suitcase! lighting is awful with spotlights! rooms are dark with NO WINDOWS or natural light! We sat and watched people at check in complaining about the size of rooms and asking to be upgraded every day. Such a depressing environment the whole hotel is DARK even the lifts have little or no lighting. Please be careful when using the lifts as they shut very quickly and will take no prisoners in terms of squashing you in the middle of the extremely heavy doors. I would say this is one of the most underwhelming hotels I have ever stayed in.
Staff are miserable and unhelpful only interested in getting hold of more of your money in any way possible although one member stood out from the rest LETTY her customer service skills are wasted here with the attitude of other staff members letting her down. Bar staff are miserable service in the hotel restaurants are non existent all to be met with extra charges for the miserable experience for example tipping, I have no problem tipping service providers when I feel like they are competent at their jobs but not when they can’t even be bothered to SMILE at the very least! Cleaners are good at this hotel and consistent.
Prices are extortionate!
Hotel has a business feel about it with lots of people sitting on laptops and bars and Lobby being used as a meeting point so not the vibe we were looking for travelling with family Shame as a returning customer five years ago moxy has got greedy and halved all the rooms in size so will not be returning to this dark depression dungeon

We had a great staff at Moxy. The staff were fantastic, went out of their way to assist us. We stayed in the 4 person room with bunk beds and for a family of 4 the room was great. Lots of hooks for clothes but no where to store bags. The bathroom door was opaque glass so not 100% private though for a family that was fine. Little treats in reception throughout the day were great and our daughter had a great time with the loan camera. Location was good, about 5 minutes walk to Times Square so not right in the mayhem. The bar area on the second floor was great for breakfast or just somewhere to relax during the day. Thanks to all of the staff at Moxy for helping us have a great stay.
