Honestly this hotel is good for Manhattan, that said I am absolutely done with the hidden fee BS that Marriott is doing. I have been loyal to Marriott for 20 years, I am a lifetime Platinum and a current Titanium member and I am just sick of it. $30 per room per night. When you check in they tell you all about the amenities and restaurants and indicate you can get a $30 credit to your room if you eat or drink there. They fail to mention several places our excluded. Now it does say they are excluded on the little card but again, are we really buyer beware at Marriott? Really? Just charge the room price. If it is required it should be in the price. Do better. As far as I am concerned these resort fees and destinations fees are just lies. Do better.

It was a decent hotel. Room: We asked for a quiet room, but the air conditioning in the room was very loud. Also, the cleaning smell in the room was very strong, probably covering for other smells. It faded by the next day. The location was decent for walking around the city and getting to the subway. Service The service team was welcoming and excellent. ---- World I stay there again? Probably not.

Over all the location is great. We stayed 3 nights and no one cleaned our room one time. So we had to ask for new towels each day because the shower leaked onto the floor so we had to put towels down from causing water everywhere. On top of that don’t even get me started on the elevator situation. The doors slammed my body shut and didn’t even react to me coming into it. We were going up and the doors got stuck half way open but continued to move up to our floor. Super sketchy…… they take a deposit that is outrageous and then gives you 30 dollars a day back that you have to spend at their bar or the cafe next door. So if you don’t spend it you lose it. Even if you don’t like both places you might as well buy something cause it’s money lost if you don’t. Staff were super friendly. Just the rules and equipment were terrible. I wouldn't Stay here again.

We really liked “most” things about this hotel. If you are traveling by yourself and want a unique hotel in the heart of midtown this is a great option. Three blocks from Time Square. Easy access to subway. Very easy to come and go. If you are traveling with family & kids I would definitely not recommend this hotel. The rooms are very small, not overly clean or well kept. The bathrooms have “slightly” frosted glass but the doors don’t lock or fully close so privacy is a challenge. We didn’t have any issues with AC or noise and never had any concerns with staff. Over all it was an ok hotel. If they stepped up their level of housekeeping and overall upkeep, it would be worth another visit. Based on our own experience, I would not recommend.

We had a great time. The bedroom is quite small but it has everything you need. Pro: nice hot water Freebies in the lobby, such as candy and mini water bottles. Has mini golf Coffee shop next to hotel Great location near subways Very modern, and funny “slang” quotes around the amenities in the room It has a nice hanging out spot and bar in floor 3. Restaurant and rooftop bar ( different entrance, can’t access inside of the hotel you need to exit near the restaurant) Overall great experience for an accessible hotel in NYC.
