The pros: great location, comfortable bed, occasional snacks/beverages at entrance (wasn't consistent) The cons: very expensive for the experience you get. Over 2K for 4 nights. Biggest negative: people can see you in the bathroom if you have the light on. See photos. Other negatives: Weird thermostat kept switching to cool, after we had it on heat. VERY poor lighting throughout hotel. Room had one recessed light and three "spot lights" in room but one would not work - we reported it, came back to room and it worked, but next day it didn't. Lighting in bathroom was poor, too. No shelves under the bathroom sink. There was one full-width tray, and one half tray under the sink and the window ledge to put stuff. Shower leaked. Were there 4 nights. On day 3, our key pass didn't work, but staff quickly reprogrammed it. Won't be back.

Perfect location for our first stay in NYC, close to the subway and otherwise very central for walking to different places. Super cool decor inside, our room was more spacious than I expected, very clean. The beds were comfortable. All staff are very courteous and super helpful. The breakfast/bar/space on the 2nd floor was a nice touch. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Hotel was updated, clean and chic. Was the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in NYC. Ridiculously small. Ask for a room that has two beds and you might be okay. There wasn’t even room for a chair in the room. You had to lay in the bed to watch TV, which was on the wall right at the end of the bed.

Overall nice place. Booked on hotels tonight. NYC prices during holiday. It’s what it is. Rooftop bar with loud music or lobby with loud music, there is no room in between to escape it on a Tuesday night. Horrible night with no rest. Shitty stay because of it. Won’t be coming back. No where does it mention this place is a party spot when you book it.

Oh my gosh, I don’t know where to begin! This is my sixth time in NYC and this is the best experience of my life with a hotel. My husband and I are thrilled by these amazing staff members: manager Luke, Carl, Graig, Mike, Axel, and Ricky. These wonderful gentlemen made the stay magical and I would like to thank them again! Since I was a Bonvoy member and a Marriott employee, my room was upgraded and there was so much space I was shocked! I wasn’t sure I was in New York! Everyone assisted me daily with free drink vouchers which were wonderful and super useful! Room was very nice and cleaned daily. Hotel in general was so stylish and modern. My husband and I had the most pleasant time of our life and we cannot thank them enough for the service! Outstanding service, if I could give a ten star review, I totally would!!!!
