Our experience at the Ritz-Carlton Al Wadi Desert, was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure every moment of our stay was memorable.
Dinner at the Farmhouse was a highlight, with each dish perfectly crafted and full of flavor, making it an unforgettable culinary experience. Our villa was a peaceful oasis beautifully designed with elegant touches that blended luxury with comfort. The serene atmosphere and classy style truly set it apart, creating a perfect escape.
There are wonderful activities nearby, but the star-gazing experience was the most magical part of our trip.
We’ll absolutely return for another stay

Don't get me wrong—it's a great place to visit. The natural surroundings are stunning, and there's plenty to see. Thanks to Gabriel for the wildlife experience tour on arrival.
However, the hotel itself is quite dated, and the service falls short of a five-star experience. It was quite disappointing; we waited 45 minutes for a baggy, having to call and remind them every ten minutes. The breakfast offered was sparse and certainly didn't meet five-star standards. Overall, I don't plan to return. You can stay there for a day but not over night.
We had a pool desert villa. The villa was huge but the bed was not comfortable.
The reception doesnt welcome you as they should for a 5star hotel. There is no recommendation on what to do when the villa / room is not ready. You are not treated on a 5 star standard!
I will, however, revisit the Zuma Pop-Up restaurant, although it's unrelated to the Ritz Carlton.

We recently escaped the hustle and bustle of Dubai for a weekend retreat at The Ritz-Carlton Al Wadi Desert, and it was the perfect getaway. Located just an hour from Dubai, this resort offered us a serene and luxurious experience that felt worlds away from the city.
Accommodation: We stayed in a Tented Villa, which was spacious, full of character, and impeccably clean. The villa featured an infinity heated pool, which was comfortably warm at 31°C, making it perfect for evening swims. The villa also came with bicycles for exploring the vast property, or you could opt for a buggy ride if you preferred.
Nature and Activities: The resort is a haven for nature lovers. We enjoyed stunning views of the Al Wadi Desert and spotted various wildlife, including birds, gazelles, and oryx. The property offers numerous activities, such as visiting the Paddock Café and the equestrian center, where we interacted with horses. We also saw tortoises, owls, falcons, and hawks up close. The falcon show was a highlight, with Michael providing excellent explanations and allowing us ample time with the birds. Watching the sunset from a high point was also a memorable experience.
Dining: The breakfast buffet at Kaheela was excellent, especially for our vegan family. The selection of vegan options was impressive, and the manager, Mani, went above and beyond with his friendly service. Kaheela is exceptionally well-run and organized, accommodating special requests without hesitation.
We also dined at the Michelin-starred Farmhouse. While they offered a vegan menu, the dishes were hit or miss. The pesto pasta lacked flavor, but the mashed potatoes with fennel were good. The vegetable rice and kale sides were just okay. Overall, the Farmhouse experience was mediocre and could use some improvement.
Room service was a mixed bag. The pasta arrabbiata was excellent, but the pizza was below average. However, the tofu and vegetables with rice, fresh bread and butter, and the chocolate cake were all excellent.
Overall Experience: The staff at The Ritz-Carlton Al Wadi Desert were exceptional, providing friendly and attentive service throughout our stay. The resort also offers Tesla chargers, which was a convenient feature for us. Despite a few minor dining disappointments, our overall experience was outstanding, and we would rate our stay 5 out of 5. We look forward to returning for another relaxing retreat.

The pool was a highlight for us, offering a perfect place to relax and unwind amidst the stunning desert surroundings. My kid had an absolute blast at the Kids Club, which had plenty of fun activities to keep him entertained.
Breakfast each morning was a delightful experience with a fantastic variety of delicious options to choose from and the staff went above and beyond to make our breakfast special—especially Danish, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
