We stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, Ras Al Khaimah this September and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect — the atmosphere, the service, and especially the people. Everyone we met was exceptionally kind, polite, and genuinely caring. I have never encountered such warm and professional staff anywhere else. From the management team to every employee we interacted with, each person made us feel truly welcome and valued. A special thank you to Angelica, who served us every day with a beautiful smile and a heart of gold. We also want to mention Su, Jiyas, Saed, Arun, Deepu, Sailesh, and many others who contributed to making our stay so enjoyable. We can’t forget Sufian, who drove us with the buggy to the restaurant and our room every day — always on time, cheerful, and friendly. His positive energy made our days even brighter. It was our first time staying at this hotel, but it definitely won’t be the last. Thank you to everyone at The Ritz-Carlton, Ras Al Khaimah, for making our holiday truly memorable.

I stayed for two nights and was honestly surprised by how outdated the hotel feels. The furniture, colors, and overall design need serious renovation — especially the dark blue curtains in the room, which made the space feel smaller and gloomy. The in-room dining setup was also disappointing — the trays and utensils were old, and some trays were even cracked. The minibar fridge was not clean, and there was a bad smell in the bathroom. I requested to check the minibar because it wasn’t cooling properly. They brought me another fridge, but to my shock, it was dented and had rust inside. I also booked the highest room category (Ocean View Villa) and paid nearly AED 9,000 for two nights, expecting a luxurious and relaxing experience. However, to actually see the ocean, I had to walk outside the villa and turn right — definitely not what I expected for an “ocean view.” When making the reservation, I mentioned it was my wedding anniversary, and the staff said they would prepare a complimentary setup (flowers and cake). I even texted them on WhatsApp before arriving to confirm, but when I arrived, nothing was prepared. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that didn’t meet the Ritz-Carlton standards, especially considering the high price and expectations for a premium category stay.

The hotel staff were outstanding, particularly Sufian, who welcomed and took us to breakfast each morning. The Breakfast offered a good selection with plenty of options to choose from. The housekeeping team were efficient and attentive, ensuring everything was always in perfect order. The gym facilities could benefit from some improvement and the room was advertised with a Smart TV but screen mirroring, smart features and apps did not work.

I had such a wonderful experience at The Ritz-Carlton. I celebrated my husband’s birthday there, and they surprised and delighted us even more by bringing a cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary, which happened to be on the same day. Their service was excellent, very fast, and the place offered great privacy. The staff were always helpful, friendly, and attentive to our needs. Breakfast was also very nice. The pool was very clean, and the housekeeping service was excellent as well. We had our baby with us, and everything was made so easy and comfortable—we didn’t face any difficulties at all. I would especially like to thank Sufian and Sandeep for his outstanding service.

Positives: The staff throughout the hotel was excellent, super attentive and kind. The villa with direct access to the beach, a private pool and full privacy was absolutely gorgeous. Negatives: The food wasn’t up to RC standard. We had dinner and breakfast there and it tasted blend and we regretted staying in to eat as for the price it was not worth it. The spa bathroom was not very clean and again this is something that we wouldn’t have expected. One therapist was excellent and the other one wasn’t too great with the massages. Overall, and because of the privacy the villa offers we would come again but we strongly suggest making some improvements.
