Nice and quiet resort, nice selection of food, indoor pool is a big win if you are traveling not in peak season, went in October and we used the indoor swimming pool daily. Negative bits : - Pool bar - all inclusive ends at 11pm and you have to pay after - animation team - during the day there is not a lot going on, evening they have 2 events, mini disco and a show, they can improve

We spent 10 nights at Vell Mari and it was excellent value for money. Food was good, we did eat out a few nights as we were exploring. Wide range of cooked foods, fresh fruit and desserts. Staff at any hotel can create the atmosphere that is part of your experience and the staff at Vell Mari are very professional and made our stay very enjoyable Pool is great though you will need to be on the ball to get loungers and umbrellas during busy periods. The pool bar, pool cafe and facilities were very good. Rooms are clean, older in style but in keeping with Mediterranean style, bedding and towels changed daily, just leave the "please clean my room" on the room door handle. 10min cab to the beach at Can Picafort, restaurants there are good and check out the Jamaican bar !! Recommended

Hi. We are here at the last day. We come for 5 nights 2 adults and 2 children. The hotel is amazing. The food is lovely. Every day different food. If you are a picky eater you still find something to eat.seaside is 10 min. Walking distance. We giving 5☆☆☆☆☆ Thanks for the amazing holiday ❤️❤️

Stayed a week here .While the weather was perfect, the hotel needs some major improvements, its definitely not 4star more like 3star- Beware, there are lots of mosquitoes in mallorca. Hotel staff extremely friendly Pool- if you're getting towels it's 10e deposit, cash only ,not exact change required they give change back. Pool life guard is the only person you can get your towels off and you've to wait until he turns up and then takes the chains away from Pool before you can get your towel. The apartments need major improvements ,extremely old and not the cleanest ,although the maids were excellent at leaving towels for us each time ,the apartment was dirty upon arrival, I did not report this as it was very late when we arrived. Other residents were awfully nosy no regards for other guests staying. Lots of bugs in our apartment daily. Restaurant was lovely but food very repetitive, meats very fatty. Drinks - cocktails very sweet ,handful of free drinks ,rest are at a discounted price. Hotel is quite far from the town, it's 25mins walk or wait on the bus located behind Hotel. Taxis is about 7e to the town. The hotel entertainment is extremely poor ,the same routine nightly, only changed for bingo or a magic show ,nothing aimed for adults after the kids show which would have been nice. We spent our evenings up in the town. The pool not the cleanest despite it being cleaned daily. Hotel is perfect for families who are happy to stay by the pool and within the hotel grounds for thier holiday, definitely won't be back.

So let me say that I have read all negative reviews and I was abit scared to visit. But it was booked and I'm in the hotel now room number 4303. So let me say this way. Hotel pretty much very European style service. We were at many places but this hotel I would say "cozy" style. By saying "cozy" I would say - yeah rooms of course outdated. But I can tell the same room you will find in Savoy 5* Egypt and nobody complains. We are with all inclusive so we dont have to use kitchen at all so when someone said that there is issue to get equipments - well there is Lidl in front of the hotel. For our 4 y.o. son we just got package of juices since we decided not to give him juices from a bar. Again they are ok same as many 5* hotels. Pool closed at 7am - well I find this nice so no more Russians coming and blocking it. Dirty abit - we just took block of wet napkins and cleaned it. Food is nice. Issue with shampoo? Lidl is 50 meters away and you can get the one you like the most. For my kid (and trust me he is really difficult to engage) it was so many things todo. Game rooms, kids clubs, playgrounds. Someone said animators not as good?? I see while writing this review how 20 kids dancing and 5-6 adults - probably British.. So I would really say - alot of negative feedbacks are really have valid points but would these issues negatively impact your vacation? I would say NO. As long as you really can just do abit of extra. Just visit Lidl in front of hotel and it will make your stay exceptional. And specially if you traveling with kid. Trust me they wouldn't notice all these small issues and will be happy so much. And if your kid is happy would you rate hotel below 4.0. No way. Thank you Vell Mari for our stay. Muchas gracias!
