We spent 10 nights at Vell Mari and it was excellent value for money. Food was good, we did eat out a few nights as we were exploring. Wide range of cooked foods, fresh fruit and desserts. Staff at any hotel can create the atmosphere that is part of your experience and the staff at Vell Mari are very professional and made our stay very enjoyable Pool is great though you will need to be on the ball to get loungers and umbrellas during busy periods. The pool bar, pool cafe and facilities were very good. Rooms are clean, older in style but in keeping with Mediterranean style, bedding and towels changed daily, just leave the "please clean my room" on the room door handle. 10min cab to the beach at Can Picafort, restaurants there are good and check out the Jamaican bar !! Recommended

Stayed a week here .While the weather was perfect, the hotel needs some major improvements, its definitely not 4star more like 3star- Beware, there are lots of mosquitoes in mallorca. Hotel staff extremely friendly Pool- if you're getting towels it's 10e deposit, cash only ,not exact change required they give change back. Pool life guard is the only person you can get your towels off and you've to wait until he turns up and then takes the chains away from Pool before you can get your towel. The apartments need major improvements ,extremely old and not the cleanest ,although the maids were excellent at leaving towels for us each time ,the apartment was dirty upon arrival, I did not report this as it was very late when we arrived. Other residents were awfully nosy no regards for other guests staying. Lots of bugs in our apartment daily. Restaurant was lovely but food very repetitive, meats very fatty. Drinks - cocktails very sweet ,handful of free drinks ,rest are at a discounted price. Hotel is quite far from the town, it's 25mins walk or wait on the bus located behind Hotel. Taxis is about 7e to the town. The hotel entertainment is extremely poor ,the same routine nightly, only changed for bingo or a magic show ,nothing aimed for adults after the kids show which would have been nice. We spent our evenings up in the town. The pool not the cleanest despite it being cleaned daily. Hotel is perfect for families who are happy to stay by the pool and within the hotel grounds for thier holiday, definitely won't be back.

Nice and quiet resort, nice selection of food, indoor pool is a big win if you are traveling not in peak season, went in October and we used the indoor swimming pool daily. Negative bits : - Pool bar - all inclusive ends at 11pm and you have to pay after - animation team - during the day there is not a lot going on, evening they have 2 events, mini disco and a show, they can improve

Hi. We are here at the last day. We come for 5 nights 2 adults and 2 children. The hotel is amazing. The food is lovely. Every day different food. If you are a picky eater you still find something to eat.seaside is 10 min. Walking distance. We giving 5☆☆☆☆☆ Thanks for the amazing holiday ❤️❤️

Think twice before booking your holiday here and spending your hard earned money, honestly!! July 2024 I was so excited to go on our annual holiday with my family of 4 and our 2 friends, when we first got to the hotel there was a smell of damp in the reception but I just thought it was because of the old furniture. But the hot tub and indoor pool below smelled the same. the front of house who were not very accommodating made a mistake with our friends booking as we both booked and paid for a pool view room, unfortunately, they had to stay in another room for a few days until the error was corrected! Their water and aircon, didn’t work. As we always do, we went all inclusive and so the children where excited for their ability to go get ice pops to cool down throughout the day at the pool, as they always have done, however ICECREAM and ice pops are NOT included. The all-inclusive drinks were local ones, and they weren’t that good, and you had to pay for a cocktail if you wanted one. The children were also very excited for “the games” room that’s shown on these pictures! THEY DO NOT EXSIST!! The gym was NON exsistent , there were 2 weights and a spin bike and cross trainer with zero matts! The rooms were never cleaned correctly and the beds weren’t changed once. Towels weren’t changed everyday even if they were left on the bathroom floor to let them know that they were in need of changing! Furniture was old and creeky in the room like it hadn’t been updated since the 80s . The food was just ok especially the first few days but then it was the same kind of thing everyday and it soon became boring, if you like fish and chicken drumsticks as that was mostly the meat selection , so it’s not good if you have picky eaters. There was bird poo on the walls inside and constantly flys over the food. The staff were not very friendly or tried to get to know you, when my boys asked for the bar to change €2 into 2 €1s they were told no , to go the whole way to reception. I do not like having to give a bad review, in fact this is my very first time but this has truly been unlike every other experience we have had over all our years going to different places. a very few of the staff made a lovely effort when talking with them they liked to converse which was nice. The entertainment was just OK, everything was over at 11pm . I feel like If you were French you definitely had more inclusion with the animation staff as they were French. There was not enough beds around the pool and everyday you had to pray the children wouldn’t end up upset because they couldn’t have a place around the pool! Even when you queued to be able to put your towels down. The pool area was great when you did manage to get a spot! However if you wanted a Pool towel you had to pay a deposit of £10 for each. I know that this isn’t everyone’s experience but this was unfortunately ours, we had to pay around €300 per day for the 4 of us for 10days and I feel like that was definitely not worth it for what was actually offered . I will definitely not return nor recommend this place unfortunately to others and I hope they remove or update photos instead of false advertising to family’s and children! So disappointing! Thank god we rented a car so we were able to travel about the island.
