We had great holiday here it has 4 pools which can be used and if you want to book the adults only area for your holiday that’s also an option which you have to pre book for your stay when you book your holiday you can’t do it when your there. The hotel itself is very nice and there’s plenty of entertainment throughout the day to get involved with around the pool from pool aerobics to pool bingo and others. There outdoor bowls volleyball in the afternoon and a basketball area and ping pong table and pool table. The staff are good at getting people involved and they have different food days in the “The Spot” refreshments area. The location is ok the local beach isn’t the greatest which is just across the road from the hotel but if you don’t mind a short bus ride for about 6 or 7 minutes for a couple of euros you can get to the grande playa beach which is a lovely award winning beach with beautiful clear water and two sun loungers with. Parasol is 9 euros. You can get a taxi there for 7 to 8 euros and even better if you’ve hired your own car. The grande playa is a must visit I can also recommend the OBI tours luxury catamaran boat trip very good day out. The rooms are nice and they come with free air con. The food is what you would expect for N all inclusive hotel. Also there is nightly entertainment out on from singers to Spanish flamenco dancers which I thought were good. If you’re travelling out to the Main shopping Street go all the way down to the end to music square where you can get a good meal and free live entertainment and street dancers. Which is a good night out. There are also some nice beach resteraunts at the back of the Main Street. The Main Street is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel.

Really enjoyed our little holiday at the Alua suites. The rooms were immaculate and cleaned daily, the food was really nice with lots of choice, the staff are all friendly and the pool areas are lovely and clean. The only thing I didn't like was how cold the pools were. Infact I only managed to get in once the whole time we were there. Also we were charged €40 for four of us to use a shower room on departure day and it was awful. The shower didn't work and was hanging off and it was barely big enough for one person to change in the room never mind 4!. Despite this I would definitely go here again.

Fantastic hotel, location perfect for us. Staff welcoming and friendly. Food was lovely, even if you are a fussy eater I'm sure you will find something. Can't comment on the daytime entertainment as we were in the adults area. Evening entertainment was good and varied. Overall a fantastic holiday

The hotel is only a 10 minute walk to the local market and a 20/25 minute walk into town. The grounds are lovely and immaculate. We stayed in MFC (adult only) so didn’t use the other pools; adult only is lovely, with its own bar and restaurant. Food in the evening was delicious and service excellent. In the main restaurant it is buffet style, but the food again was lovely. There was quite a queue on one night but we went at the busiest time and it moved quite quickly. Our room was slightly tired - aircon worked perfectly but the fan above the bed only seemed to come on when next door put theirs on! When we arrived the window wouldn’t shut as it was rusted and damaged, but maintenance were quick to come out and managed to get it shut. It didn’t matter that we couldn’t open it again as the aircon worked fine. There was some mould on the ceiling as you came out of the bathroom and paper was peeling in places, but we did go at the end of a busy summer season. The cleaners are excellent and the room and bathroom were always spotless

What a fantastic place to stay. Starting with the warm welcome from Marta on the reception to all the staff from the gents on the bar down to the wonderful staff in the dining area, all the domestics , just all the staff were so friendly. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, the pool areas were spot on.. the food in all the dining areas were varied and delicious.. just can’t any fault with this hotel. We had a fantastic holiday.. bring it on again
