The pros: - Beautiful ocean view and easy access from the hotel - The restaurant and bar staff were amazing and very caring, the variety of food was great, always got to try something new every night (the cleanliness off plates and cutlery could be improved) As for the room, I think my photos speak for themselves. This isn’t even ‘dated’ like other reviewers have said, this is straight up neglected and I really can’t believe the management of this hotel thinks this is a good condition of the rooms to be putting the guests in. I understand we did not pay for ‘Hilton’ quality but this is just an awful sight. Besides that, our TV wasn’t working the whole time (perhaps the dead remote batteries) and the hanger side of the wardrobe had such a bad damp smell I eventually had to take the clothes out because the smell started absorbing into them. If you’re coming here with young children, bare in mind there’s virtually nothing to do inside the hotel on the bad weather days.

For a very big all inclusive hotel especially the rooms were super clean every day. The service was very friendly. Food was plentiful and delicious. I can recommend this hotel if your planing your vacation here and you want an all inclusive hotel. We chose this place as it said it has gluten free food, which it does, but we had to ask multiple times and multiple staffs until we figured it out. Not all food is labeled.

The 4 star rating is very fair. The rooms are comfortable and clean though the beds are hard and you only get one pillow. The decor is pleasant and well maintained. The staff are friendly and hard working. I couldn't have anything negative to say about anyone. The hotel, in fact the resort is very popular with German and Dutch tourists and the social expectations are a little different to a resort for English speakers but they were all pleasant and polite. The food was good quality and plentiful but maybe won't meet everyone's expectations. Other than pizza, there wasn't a lot of "junk" food available, but if you like vegtables, salads and fresh fish you would be well provided for. Soft drinks, beer and snacks are available all day without restriction. The pools are lovely and the beach is great for a dip or snorkling for beginners. Minor negatives. It is a big hotel and you do have to accept queues for the bar, food etc. Though this only for cocktails usually. Not enough chairs in the main bar during the day. More tables than chairs strangely. There is not really a promenade or shops in costa calma. And what shops there are, are up hills. If its cold and overcast, there is very little to do in the area.

Me and partner went away for our first holiday without the family and picked SBH Costa Calma Beach Resort, we were so nervous but what a fantastic holiday it was!! Hotel was absolutely beautiful, very close to surrounding shops, restaurants and the beach ect, excursions available to book in the hotel or online for extra activities/day outs (The buggies are brilliant) Food was lovely, plenty of choices! Staff were all so friendly!! Made the holiday even better with how lovely and friendly all the staff were! Activities staff are really interactive and funny!!! And we absolutely LOVE Rayco the bar tender!!!!❤️ All inclusive does stop at 11pm though, which was abit of a pain if you were hungry after 9pm, (you could buy drinks) but we do usually stay in Tui hotels so that could have been us being used to having that option of burgers ect once drunk and hungry 🤣 But apart from the few repairs that need doing and the 9pm food cut off, it did really feel like a Tui holiday, so considering the price is practically half its absolutely fantastic! You definitely get your moneys worth and it lives up to a 4* hotel and could very easily be made into a 5* Thank you ALL very much for an amazing week away!!❤️ Holiday blues have definitely kicked in now! First time in Fuerteventura and I'm so glad we picked this hotel!! Memories we'll cherish!🌞🛩

Our recent stay at SBH Costa Calma was nothing short of exceptional. The location is simply perfect, offering easy access to the beach. Waking up to such a beautiful setting every day truly enhanced our vacation experience. The service was impeccable—every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. From check-in to check-out, their professionalism and friendliness made us feel right at home. The food was another highlight of our stay. Each meal was a delightful experience, with a variety of options to satisfy all tastes. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The only improvement that can be done is at the reception, looks like the hotel is understaffed, specially when you just arrived after a long trip and tired, there is only 1 person at the reception taking of new arrivals and existing guests who may wait 10 to 20 min to be attended to. We would highly recommend SBH Costa Calma to anyone looking for a memorable stay. It’s clear that the team here takes pride in creating a fantastic guest experience. We can’t wait to return!
