Me and my Boyfriend went to this Resort and i can assure you, we absolutely loved it. The location is so great. In front of the beach, it has bars , a wonderful tasty Restaurant open at Mornings Mid day and Afternoons, nice Night programs and Service. I also must say that the Animation team was so great and nice. You could talk with them easily and not just the programs at the day where nice, but even the Rest of the Guest where always friendly and motivated people who had as much fun as we had. A little bit of everything they had there, for kids and adults. (No spoilers) I can totally recommend it if you just want a relaxing and chill Vacation with your Family. Lots of Love on the service people!

This is not a hotel, it’s a disgrace to tourism! Costa Calma is by far the worst place in Fuerteventura, and I honestly don’t understand how it still has any stars. The air conditioning in the room was broken, making it impossible to breathe at night. At reception they are outright rude — every request is treated as if you’re disturbing their lives. They couldn’t even provide a simple fan, basically spitting in the guests’ faces. Sleeping here is impossible: every morning at 4 a.m. a garbage truck parks outside and makes noise like a construction site under your window. The hotel is filthy, noisy, and the staff are completely careless and unprofessional. There is zero service here — just stress and a ruined vacation. Costa Calma is a shame for the entire hospitality industry. If you respect yourself and value your time, stay far, far away. Honestly, you’d be better off sleeping on the beach than wasting money on this nightmare.

⸻ The rooms in the main building are nice, but extremely noisy at night. There were lots of drunk people outside after the bar closed at 1 AM. The food was good, but there was a lack of cups, glasses, and plates — and the overall cleanliness was just awful. The surroundings are beautiful — a lovely oasis — but the hotel itself is in desperate need of renovation. It’s basically falling apart. We stayed at this hotel many years ago and find it a real shame that it has been so poorly maintained.

My recent stay at Costa Calma Beach Resort was, without exaggeration, one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. From the moment I stepped into the room, it was clear this place is severely neglected. The rooms are woefully outdated, feeling like a blast from a past no one wants to revisit. To make matters worse, essential amenities like electrical outlets simply didn't work, making it impossible to charge devices. And as if that wasn't enough, we were regularly greeted by cockroaches scuttling around, a truly disgusting sight that immediately makes you question the hygiene standards. The issues extended far beyond the room. The pool area was a hazardous mess, with broken glass scattered everywhere – a serious safety concern, especially for families. Adding to the chaos were feral cats that seemed to enjoy attacking guests, making relaxation by the pool an impossibility. If you're hoping for a nice beach experience, look elsewhere. The beach wasn't sandy at all; it was rocky and completely unsuitable for swimming. And then there's the food. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner were absolutely horrific. It wasn't just the quality of the food ); the dining area was perpetually dirty. Finding a clean table, cup, or even a glass of water was a constant struggle. It's painfully obvious the hotel is severely understaffed, leading to a complete lack of attention to basic cleanliness and service. In short, this hotel is dirty, dangerous, and utterly uninviting. I strongly advise anyone considering a stay here to look for alternative accommodations. You'll be glad you did.

I recently visited the SBH Costa calms beach resort and I can say it was not a pleasant holiday. There are a few reasons for that. 1. When we arrived we felt like an inconvenience straight from the get go. 2. The place wasn’t as clean. Plates and cups dirty, there was also a shortage of cups for you to get a drink. In the room the cleaners did the bare minimum which was just clean the floors, bed half made up. 3. No wifi. Their WiFi was so poor. The only place you could access it was the reception. If you wanted WiFi you would not get it by the pool or even in your room. The WiFi was sooo bad that they had to cancel one of their entertainments (it was karaoke and they didn’t have good enough connection to run YouTube) 4. The building has signs for gym and which floor it is on only to find out that they don’t actually have it. When spoken to the staff they said they have a gym but at another sister hotel. (why advertise that you have one when you don’t) 5. Not many options for food. All salads had fish in it. I don’t eat meat so it was not a great start. The food labelling was awful as my husband is allergic to fish. The location of the hotel was nice as we could walk to other places. Overall I do not believe this is a 4 star hotel. It deserves a 3 nothing more.
