Our family recently stayed at the SBH Costa Calma Beach Resort, and while we enjoyed parts of our holiday, it was a mixed experience overall. The location is excellent, with the hotel offering direct access to a stunning beach, and the pool area was well-maintained and enjoyable for both kids and adults.
Our room was a bit small, the beds were uncomfortable but clean, it could use some updates to modernize the decor.
The food was a bit underwhelming. While there was a variety of dishes, the quality and flavor were not what we expected from a 4-star hotel. The meals became repetitive after a few days, and there weren’t many options that appealed to younger children.
Overall, we had a good time but the hotel could benefit from improving its rooms and dining experience. It’s a decent option for families, but there’s room for improvement.

Our recent stay at SBH Costa Calma was nothing short of exceptional. The location is simply perfect, offering easy access to the beach. Waking up to such a beautiful setting every day truly enhanced our vacation experience.
The service was impeccable—every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. From check-in to check-out, their professionalism and friendliness made us feel right at home.
The food was another highlight of our stay. Each meal was a delightful experience, with a variety of options to satisfy all tastes. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The only improvement that can be done is at the reception, looks like the hotel is understaffed, specially when you just arrived after a long trip and tired, there is only 1 person at the reception taking of new arrivals and existing guests who may wait 10 to 20 min to be attended to.
We would highly recommend SBH Costa Calma to anyone looking for a memorable stay. It’s clear that the team here takes pride in creating a fantastic guest experience. We can’t wait to return!

I would give this hotel a 3 out of 5. We stayed here for a 5 night break to get some winter sun. The hotel overall is nice, it’s in a great location (right on the beech), the staff are nice and friendly and the food is good. However, it’s advertised as 4 star when it’s clearly a 3 star which lets it down. Paying for a security box, beach / pool towels, bottled water, no gym and just slow overall service (queues at reception, all the bars etc) are all things you don’t really expect in a 4 star hotel. If this was advertised as 3 star hotel then it would be 5 out 5 but for a 4 star it’s very basic. It is a nice touch you can use some of the other SBH hotels in the area but I found them all basically the same. It’s handy when you’re walking around town and spot one for a quick drink or some food.

The location is right on a beach! Got a beautiful view from the pool and room. The beds are incredible hard! If you like a hard beds then this is the place for you. Offers spa and wellness. All inclusive and the food isn’t too bad. The breakfast is by far the best one out of the lunch and dinner. You have lots to choose from if you are unsure. Drinks available all day which is great. Very nice staff. Room is clean and everywhere is clean.

I took my 2 children here for 1 week, and we all enjoyed it so much. I have zero complaints. I would definitely come back to stay again. The staff work so hard. The food was great especially the breakfast choice.
