We went to Alua Village for a relaxing break, and got exactly that! The hotel is amazing, with lots to do/not do. The pool area is clean and we always found two beds in an area that was ok for us. The walk to the beach is good, and the beach itself is incredible, with some big waves! The restaurant food was varied and plentiful, and the theme nights were further variations on top of this. Snacks were available whenever we wanted them. Drinks were always available and a good variety and quality! In shirt, we will be going back and gir longer! Loved it!

4 stars for room because bathroom needs some work. Was visible rust stains and peeling paint. Room was looking perfect, new furniture, tidy. Personel in the hotel was nice and always helpful. Great animations. Food very nice. Every evening was different topic of dinner. Hotel is located close to the beach. If you need some shopping, superstore is also close. I spend very nice time in this hotel and I can highly recommend 👌🏼

Nice hotel, good food but very steep walk to beach and back. Otherwise there's nowhere really to walk to. There is a bus, but you'd have to be fairly mobile to get to the stop. We had a hire car, which was great. A short taxi ride would take you to a different world at Morro Jable or Mal Nombre. The rooms were good except there was only 1 drawer and some hanging space. Enough for a short holiday but difficult for 13days. We were 'My favourite' customers so had the use of a little lounge and terrace all day, which was a godsend. It also meant we had better air-conditioning in our bit of the restaurant, but also meant we had virtually no interaction with waiting staff. The hotel loudspeaker seemed to have no volume control and it felt like rapid, incomprehensible, instructions were being shouted or music blasting a lot of the time.

We stayed at the Alua Village Hotel in August and, while there were some positives, unfortunately, our overall experience was disappointing and not what we expected from a 4-star resort. To start with the positives, the hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, and the rooms were modern and comfortable. However, unless you pay extra for a sea view, the standard rooms offer little to no view at all. Our outdoor area was located right next to a pathway, meaning there was a constant stream of people walking past on their way to the pool or beach, which didn’t make for a relaxing atmosphere. Although the hotel advertises beach access, the reality is far from convenient. The walk back from the beach is extremely steep, with uneven ground, making it quite difficult—especially for those not used to hiking terrain. It's not suitable for families with young children, the elderly, or anyone with mobility concerns. The location of the resort is also quite remote. The nearest town is around €10 each way by taxi, and we found ourselves leaving the hotel most days just to find things to do. The hotel did not cater to English-speaking guests at all, which left us feeling quite isolated. Daytime activities and entertainment were not accessible or engaging for us, and we felt very disconnected from the resort experience. The food was one of the biggest letdowns. It was very repetitive and on several occasions, there was nothing my partner could eat. She had to resort to buying snacks from the on-site shop, which was massively overpriced—€4 for a packet of crisps, for example. Additionally, dishes were often mislabeled and staff in the restaurant didn’t speak English, making it difficult to understand what we were being served. Service was also hit-or-miss. The bar staff at the daytime snack bar were frequently rude and made us feel uncomfortable when ordering drinks. In the evenings, the main bar was clearly understaffed, and long waits for drinks were the norm. As for the nighttime entertainment, again, it was not tailored to English guests at all. Most evenings we ended up just sitting outside, drinking quietly without much atmosphere. In summary, while the hotel looks good on the surface, it doesn’t deliver when it comes to comfort, inclusivity, and overall guest experience—especially for English-speaking visitors. We wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend it unless some major improvements are made.

Yes rooms, service and location was great, I cannot add anything to that. Foodwise, they had vegetarian/vegan options, but those rely on beans, cheese or eggs. After a few days of that, I got enough of that. I would recommend using some meat replacement products, you can do a lot with those nowadays. Like tofu, TVP, seitan, tempeh, or just those meat replacements from the supermarket, like those plant based steaks, or plants based chicken. The other thing would be the cocktails, those were not that great, at least not the ones that are part of the all inclusive deal. The only one that tasted ok was the Tequila Sunrise, I highly recommend asking them to put an extra shot of tequila in there. They do, and that kicks it up a notch. The service and staff was amazing, the rooms were amazing, the location, the pool, the beach was amazing. The gym could use a little update, but I don't think lots of people use it, so I do understand why they don't update it. All and all, great experience.
