I had a great stay at Amwaj Rotana – the location is perfect, right on The Walk JBR with easy access to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety, and the pool area was nice for relaxing. However, I do feel the pool could be improved by having a deeper end as well as a shallow side. It would have made activities like the Dubai challenge easier and more enjoyable for me and my child. The biggest issue for me was the lifts – during busy times they were very slow, and with only a few serving such a tall building it can be frustrating. Having more lifts, or separating them so some go only up and others only down, would really help. Overall, still a very enjoyable stay and I’d recommend the hotel, but with a couple of improvements it could be excellent.

We had the most wonderful stay at Amwaj Rotana, JBR. Our flight was unexpectedly cancelled, and the hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and extend our stay seamlessly. From the very moment you step out of the car, the team takes care of everything — opening the door, handling the luggage, and making sure you don’t have to lift a finger. Every staff member we interacted with was exceptionally kind, helpful, and professional, which made us feel truly cared for. The breakfast buffet deserves a special mention — an amazing spread with so many delicious options to choose from, catering to all tastes. Overall, this was hands down the best stay we’ve had in Dubai. We’ll definitely be returning and recommending Amwaj Rotana to friends and family!

Location is amazing, right on JBR the walk and is surrounded by everything. Beach is very close. Pools are nice and life guards are always present. Rooms are nice although the beds are a little hard. The only issue I had was the lifts, there are ridiculous and take very long. Once they do arrive they are full forcing you to wait longer. I had a buggy which meant I could not use the stairs. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. I would return.

We really enjoyed everything! The room service was top-notch, and the staff member, Atif, was very kind, polite, caring, and attentive, always ensuring everything was provided on time. The room was always clean, tidy, and impeccably maintained! We also really liked the hotel itself — the staff is very polite and friendly, the food is delicious, healthy, and varied, and the location is excellent — right on the waterfront with a beautiful view. There’s no unnecessary noise at night, so you can relax completely. Thank you for these wonderful days — we will definitely come back! :)

This hotel is a hidden gem in JBR. The service was excellent, rooms were clean, and the location is perfect. Breakfast had a great variety and was very tasty. It’s close to the beach with a beautiful view of Ain Dubai from the room. The staff were so welcoming and they decorated our room with flowers for our anniversary, which made our stay even more special. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re planning to stay in JBR. Definitely worth the money!
