I had an excellent stay at the Andaz Apartments in Dubai. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, making the experience truly enjoyable. The breakfast was outstanding, available until 11 am, with a diverse selection of local, Asian, Indian, South American, and European dishes, along with a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. The chefs were accommodating for gluten-free dietary needs. The location was great, with a 15-minute walk to the shopping mall, though the crossroads made it slightly longer. The views from the apartments were lovely, adding to the overall comfort and luxury of the stay.

Quite disappointing, rooms are small, Location not as expected you have to walk to the beach and it is not a private one! The hotel itself is amongst 2 residential buildings and you need to walk a communal garden to reach the beach, and if you want to go out the hotel for a walk you have to use the car road, be careful with that !!
lobby is mediocre at best, no wonder when you book online it is a non refundable and non amendable, I tried to shorten my stay to 1 night instead of three and they didn’t accept it.

Subject: Complaint About Declining Service at Andaz Dubai The Palm by Hyatt
Dear Andaz Dubai The Palm Management,
My family—my wife, our child, and I—have chosen your hotel for the third time within a year because we have always been satisfied with the level of service and hospitality. However, our current stay has been extremely disappointing.
We arrived early in the morning, around 8:00 AM, as we always do. In the past, we were accommodated in an available room without issue. During our first stay, we received a complimentary room upgrade, which we greatly appreciated. On our second visit, we were offered an upgrade for an additional fee, but the price was reasonable, and we gladly accepted.
This time, however, we were simply told to “go for a walk” until 3:00 PM—a full seven hours—despite mentioning that this was our third visit in a year. Making a family with a young child wait this long after a long journey is completely unacceptable for a hotel of your level. When we requested an upgrade, we were offered a price that was more than 50% higher than what we were quoted just six months ago. This does not reflect appreciation for loyal guests but instead feels like an attempt to take advantage of returning customers.
Furthermore, we spoke with the manager, Ramazan, who stated that he was in charge and that there was no one above him available at that time. His response and unwillingness to accommodate a loyal returning guest were especially disappointing.
To make matters worse, we are staying for 9 nights (March 13–22), meaning we are spending a significant amount of time and money at your property. It is unacceptable for long-term, returning guests to be treated this way.
Such treatment does not align with the level of service we expect from Andaz Dubai The Palm or the Hyatt brand as a whole. We have repeatedly chosen your hotel because of our trust in its quality, but after this experience, we are seriously reconsidering our future stays.
We urge you to reconsider your approach to loyal guests and provide us with a clear explanation as to why the service has deteriorated so significantly.

The hotel was much better when I stayed there two years ago. I staid with Andaz last summer and one more time in January 2025, . It seems the management has changed since the quality of the service during the past two years significantly dropped down. . I was very excited to return to the hotel , but I ended up with mixed feelings about my stay. I'm not sure who the main manager is now, but the service no longer reflects the standards of a Category 5 hotel . Not sure I would pick this hotel in the future. Hyatt needs to select better managers for their 5-star properties. I'm sure they can do better.

Everything was beyond expectations!
Starting from checking in, the receptionist Mr Mustafa was very nice, friendly and helpful. The check in process did not take more than few minutes.
The room we stayed was specious and nicely designed, although room amenities were upon request, which i find unusual and inconvenient.
The way from hotel to the pool and beach is a bit far. The landscape was average and lack proper maintenance. The pool area looks a bit poor and not treated/ designed well.
Hotel location is great.
