We stayed here 10-17 December 2024 on an all-inclusive basis.
The hotel is situated about 4km from the main resort of Costa Teguise. It took me a 40 minute walk to get to the main resort. I liked the fact that it is slightly quieter being slightly away from the centre.
All the interactions we had with the staff were friendly & helpful.
The room was great, clean, and well kept.
TV had Spanish, English, German & French tv stations available.
They have very good exercise facilities if that's what you're interested in.
The water in a couple of the pools was pretty cold so you need to pick & choose where to swim.
Food in the buffet restaurant was good quality, and there was plenty of choice. We are not big consumers of alcoholic drinks, so we can't comment on that, but there looked to be a good choice.
Evening entertainment was OK.
There is a small supermarket on the grounds of the hotel and a larger Spar at the rear of the hotel on the opposite side of the dual carriage way.
The hotel wasn't very busy due to the time of year. Things may be a bit different at the height of the season.
We really enjoyed our time there and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Absolutely Amazing ... Nobody can tell me money isn't good... It was a whole experience...rooms were a delight, food and layout was flawless, hotel was amazing..... Heated pools 🎯and most of all it was CLEAN!!!!!! attention to detail was 👌🏿👌🏿a room of different breads, fruit and smoothies....perfect
I had my room upgraded to balcony and great views so not too sure what other rooms were like.
Room service food could have been better but was still good .
... Would definitely return.... Adult only hotels I definitely recommend....
Imagine the only problem was that a coffee machine closest to me wasn't working...

Barceló active resort was so good we stayed for 5 nights. However I must say firstly there were so me negatives which would be the pool closes quite early and the pool bar, at 6pm so for adults it’s not great and there is a lot of things for children and families more than adults. Leading us to venture from the hotel more. the entertainment isn’t great for young adults, a lot of quizzes and bingo so there wasn’t much to do at the hotel at night time. Also the music was terrible I think that’s sets the vibe and tone in the day, the only time there was any decent music was during an activity between 4-6 I think it was, however, which I think could be improved as there was a lot of activities like water polo repeated all week but it’s definitely nice they do activities at all. However the positives outweighed the negatives. Firstly the all inclusive side of the hotel was absolutely amazing lots of drinks to choose from at the pool bar, Coca Cola and beer on tap. unlimited. I just wish you could have this at breakfast time. But there is just an insane amount of foods to choose from many times in the day the last food being served at 10pm which was great for after a few drinks at the bars around and coming back to eat. There was also amazing inclusive with really tasty bar snacks like wings, nuggets, hot dogs and chips whenever you want and you can get 2 at a time as well as drinks for you and whoever your with, The drinks could have been stronger definitely but you 1000% get your value for money. The room was tidy and clean, spacious however me and my partner did keep slipping down the middle of the bed as it was 2 queens/doubles pushed together. The reception team were very helpful, offered drinks on arrival and help to find the room I’d need be. There’s a shop on sight, and a bus stop right outside the royal part of the hotel, that takes you into Costa teguise square where all the lovely restaurants are and night life. We really did have the best holiday here in September 2024 and are hoping to be back in summer of this year because it really is beautiful.

Rooms were basic but comfy beds fr a good night's sleep. Hotel was gorgeous and spotless, food was good and plenty of choice and drinks good too. Staff were great and could not do enough for us, hubby had a accident 4 days before we arrived but changed our room when we got there so no steps to climb and took us from reception to room on a golf buggy and brought us back to reception on buggy on departure day, hotel is little bit out of centre but lots to do there so no need to leave. Pools gorgeous and plenty of sunbeds so no getting up early to fight for one. Would definitely recommend.

Firstly, it's a big 2 part hotel with a quiet road dividing the 2 buildings. The airport is a 15 minute journey.
It is a performance centre for swimming teams, has a big cycling appeal with plenty of fitness/exercise classes going on.
Day 1 wasn't great as we were given a room which had a noisy 'fresh water plant machine' directly outside our room.
We politely pointed this out and the next day were moved to a much better location so hats off to the staff for sorting that out.
As mentioned, it's a big complex and I seemed to find a different way back to my room every day but I guess it helped with the step count vs food consumed.
There are 2 buffet style options with All inclusive to room only options available.
Food was generally very good, a solid 8/10 every day. You'd have to be the fussiest eater ever if you couldn't find something to eat. One thing is that spillages could be cleaned up quicker and personally, think it's the parents responsibility to clear up items their child has dropped/thrown on the floor rather than leave the staff to clear up their mess.
Three Kings weekend was very busy but things were calmer after that.
Drinks were fine and plenty of snacks available if that's your thing. The sports bar, although on the complex, isn't part of the All Inclusive deal. The AI bracelets were also the key to your room so for once, a holiday without a 'Have you got the key?' conversation.
It is in an isolated area with a supermarket and a small cafe nearby which does excellent Churros. Otherwise, it's a bus/cab into town.
There are lots of sports activities throughout the day and there's a specific app you can download during your stay.
Staff were very friendly.
