The rooms are really nice and the hotel it’s self is lovely. Pools are clean and there are plenty of sun-beds. If you were paying for a self catering holiday it’s perfect.. if you’ve paid for an all inclusive like we did you will be very disappointed because the food is terrible. We’ve stayed at many all inclusive resorts and I have certain expectations from a buffet, you expect the food to be good/ok which is a reasonable expectation but the food here is poor/bad and there have been occasions where I had to remove food from my mouth back to my plate because of how bad it was. We’ve ended up eating out 3 of the 4 nights because the food is that bad. You can scape by at breakfast if u have a full English or toast. Like I said. Great hotel for self catering but absolutely awful for people who pay for all inclusive unless you drink your tastebuds numb.. then you’ll be fine. The drinks were fine, decent beer and the wine was alright.

Rooms were basic but comfy beds fr a good night's sleep. Hotel was gorgeous and spotless, food was good and plenty of choice and drinks good too. Staff were great and could not do enough for us, hubby had a accident 4 days before we arrived but changed our room when we got there so no steps to climb and took us from reception to room on a golf buggy and brought us back to reception on buggy on departure day, hotel is little bit out of centre but lots to do there so no need to leave. Pools gorgeous and plenty of sunbeds so no getting up early to fight for one. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely Amazing ... Nobody can tell me money isn't good... It was a whole experience...rooms were a delight, food and layout was flawless, hotel was amazing..... Heated pools 🎯and most of all it was CLEAN!!!!!! attention to detail was 👌🏿👌🏿a room of different breads, fruit and smoothies....perfect I had my room upgraded to balcony and great views so not too sure what other rooms were like. Room service food could have been better but was still good . ... Would definitely return.... Adult only hotels I definitely recommend.... Imagine the only problem was that a coffee machine closest to me wasn't working...

We had a terrible experience at this hotel. Stayed for two weeks and had two rooms in different buildings. one for my mom in the main building was overlooking the pool and have a “great view” of the power plant and when the wind is blowing towards the hotel you have a nice smell of the exhausts instead of breathing the nice sea air. It isn't the fault of the hotel of course that the plant doesn't use proper filters but this issue needs to be addressed and customers warned about it as I would never have come here if I knew this in the first place, definitely not something which is good for your health! My mom also had a terrible food poisoning during our stay which at the reception they said they can't do anything about and implied that maybe it was something else as nobody else has it. As per our room which was across the road from the main building as we stayed in the junior suite, it was overlooking the road and was quite cold as was always in the shadow. We had small ants in the room and one day has also found a big cockroach in the bedroom (disgusting!). I also seen a dead cockroach in the pool bar. From time to time especially during night and early morning we had a terrible smell in the bathroom of the sewage. After we complained about it couple of times we've been offered to move to a different room(same one but in the different building and overlooking the pool which was a bit better). Apart from going to the gym there isn't much to do in the hotel with small kids (we have a 3 years old). There is only one tiny pool which is heated, most of the other pools are fairly cold. You have to pay if you want to go to olympic pool. Kids club barely had anything to do and often closed, most of the activities for older kids. The beach consists of huge rocks so pretty much impossible to get into the water for small kids or elderly and definitely not without proper shoes. The hotel could at least make some kind of a platform for people to get into the water or offer a shuttle to the main beach which is about 7 mins drive. Food in the restaurant pretty much the same everyday (we had all inclusive) Overall very disappointing, the worst stay we have ever had.

Barceló active resort was so good we stayed for 5 nights. However I must say firstly there were so me negatives which would be the pool closes quite early and the pool bar, at 6pm so for adults it’s not great and there is a lot of things for children and families more than adults. Leading us to venture from the hotel more. the entertainment isn’t great for young adults, a lot of quizzes and bingo so there wasn’t much to do at the hotel at night time. Also the music was terrible I think that’s sets the vibe and tone in the day, the only time there was any decent music was during an activity between 4-6 I think it was, however, which I think could be improved as there was a lot of activities like water polo repeated all week but it’s definitely nice they do activities at all. However the positives outweighed the negatives. Firstly the all inclusive side of the hotel was absolutely amazing lots of drinks to choose from at the pool bar, Coca Cola and beer on tap. unlimited. I just wish you could have this at breakfast time. But there is just an insane amount of foods to choose from many times in the day the last food being served at 10pm which was great for after a few drinks at the bars around and coming back to eat. There was also amazing inclusive with really tasty bar snacks like wings, nuggets, hot dogs and chips whenever you want and you can get 2 at a time as well as drinks for you and whoever your with, The drinks could have been stronger definitely but you 1000% get your value for money. The room was tidy and clean, spacious however me and my partner did keep slipping down the middle of the bed as it was 2 queens/doubles pushed together. The reception team were very helpful, offered drinks on arrival and help to find the room I’d need be. There’s a shop on sight, and a bus stop right outside the royal part of the hotel, that takes you into Costa teguise square where all the lovely restaurants are and night life. We really did have the best holiday here in September 2024 and are hoping to be back in summer of this year because it really is beautiful.
