We had an incredible stay at Chatrium Riverside Hotel, Bangkok, as a family of eight (four adults and four teens). The service was exceptional from start to finish—staff were warm, welcoming, and always greeted us with big smiles. For instance, when I came down with our baggage, two staff members immediately assisted, took the bags, and provided tags without us even asking. Their attentiveness made us feel truly valued. Thanks Benz and your team at concierge. The rooms were spacious and perfect for our group. A special thanks to Meen, who upgraded us to two rooms for the adults and a two rooms for our boys and girls, giving everyone ample space and comfort. The breakfast spread was a highlight, especially for our vegetarian family members. There were plenty of delicious options like rice, paneer, aloo, chana curries, and sambhar. While the breakfast manager seemed a bit stern on the first day, checking on our group’s whereabouts, the team made up for it on the following days by proactively securing a larger table for us, which was greatly appreciated. The hotel’s riverside location is not only beautiful but also incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore Bangkok. Overall, the combination of outstanding service, spacious accommodations, and a great breakfast made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend Chatrium Riverside and would give it a well-deserved five stars!

This is not a 5 star hotel. The location is good with a free boat service. The breakfast was also good. However, the hotel is quite dated in some areas. The toilet broke in our room twice. The shower is dated and has a super cheap shower hose. The swimming pool has lots of missing tiles and broken things. Also, as others have commented, the reception staff are quite rude. I wouldn't stay here again.

I highly recommend the Chatrium. I recently stayed for 3 nights. They were kind enough to upgrade me to a one bedroom suite, which was amazing. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. I love the location on the riverside and the shuttle boats that the hotel offer make getting around very easy. I look forward to staying again in the future.

More like 4.5 stars. New hotel with well-appointed rooms. Pleasant view of river from balcony. One-bedroom suite has an odd layout with the bathroom completely splitting the living room and the bedroom. Hotel has good selection of on-site dining options, including outdoor by the river. Executive lounge has great views and attentive staff. Hotel water shuttle provides convenient access to public transit and Icon Siam mall. Starbucks and 7-11 next door. Concierge was able to take care of all needs on short notice. There is notable noise from the tour boats and river restaurants all the way until 11PM. Also, my room was twice filled with smoke when neighbors decided to ignore the no-smoking policy. This seems to be a consistent problem, since the hotel has air purifiers and scented spray at the ready to bring to your room.

Stayed Friday and Saturday. My usual hotel was fully booked. Was shocked how nice this hotel was... Great room and got a free upgrade. The staff were always very nice then the best thing was the breakfast which was outstanding with an endless choice for many nationalities. Will make this my go to hotel now. Thanks for a great stay.
