There are many bad reviews and I saw a lot of people not recommending this hotel. My bf and I stayed at Circus Circus during When We Were Young concert and we didn’t really have bad experiences and it was okay! Super close to the fairground and the entrance to the fairground was a short walk! Circus Circus is like a cheap motel level hotel, so nothing fancy or great but if you just need a place to stay and save some money, this is a good place! It is located in north of the strip so I wouldn’t stay here if we weren’t here for the festival, but this was perfect location if you are looking for a hotel near the fairgrounds. The room was old and I found a small towel with a small blood stain on it….but otherwise everything was fine. We just needed somewhere to sleep. If you are kind of picky and doesn’t like motel quality, I wouldn’t recommend it. We saved about $400 and we could use the money for food and other stuff! Elevators were working fine! By the way, you want to ride the SpongeBob ride, you don’t need to buy an adventure dorm ticket which cost about $60. You can just buy ride tickets (cards). There are two machines by the ride and it was $13 per person as of today (Oct 2024)

Despite it being a kiosk check-in process, there were exceptionally friendly and helpful staff within steps of the kiosks to help direct and give room keys and maps. Most of the stars of this review are due to the check-in staff and that the hotel *happened* to be a few minutes walk from my event because - for example - when I opened the window blinds in my room upon arrival, pieces of ceiling literally came down. Also $20 a day extra for a mini fridge in the room and not even an option for a microwave is ridiculous.

I was here for the Slots of Fun and the arcade and free circus shows. The casino is aging and a bit run down, but it looks like they are renovating it. I love this place. It's a must for me every time I go to Vegas. Last place left on the strip with true coin slots, which is why I went in the first place. There is something much more fun about handling real coins than stupid slips of paper. Filling a cup with coins from winning is an amazing feeling and a rush of nostalgia. I happily spend a couple hundred here each trip to Vegas, while spending zero at any other casino. The arcade games are great for family fun, and are a mix of classic games as old as the casino all the way up to new modern ones. There is truly something for everyone there, and it was like reliving my childhood. There are free circus shows for kids that are put on regularly, and the trapeze performers go out and practice between shows, which was really cool to see. I hope this place never changes beyond refreshes to replace anything broken or worn out, and I hope they never tear down Slots of Fun. I'll be going back every time I'm in town.

It was a great and positive experience for me and my family. I stayed with my wife and my two daughters, ages 6 and 16. The hotel doesn't look new, but it's clean and in very good condition. I'm sure it's the best option to visit Las Vegas when you're traveling with kids and on a limited budget. We were given a completely renovated room on the 35th floor. The hallway is renovated as well. Other reviews mention a bad smell, but we didn't notice anything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though we checked in late, I called at 2:00 am to ask for towels and they brought them quickly (It was incredible). The Adventure dome is an attraction for kids and teenagers that is incredible. It makes you feel like you're in Disney. Of course, it's not luxurious and very different from the fancy hotels. In my opinion, this is for families on a budget. I recommend this hotel without a doubt.

I read and heard a lot of bad reviews so I was nervous going here but I was pleasantly surprised, it was actually pretty decent given how old the place is. The rooms were a bit dirty. Not unclean, but old stains and etc. The hallways had a musky smell I couldn't quite place, but the rooms smelled fine. I've also never been in a room with a AC that worked as great as the one in this room. The midway and promenade was really fun, for $60 I played a ton of games (660 points for $60, 90% of the games are between 10-15 points.) Also, this location is super convenient if you're going to the convention center or festival grounds.
