This enchanting family-run hotel rests on the beautiful south coast of Barbados, nestled right in the middle of Christ Church and Bridgetown. The Blades family set up Coconut Court Beach Hotel over four decades ago and it’s no wonder they chose this stunning seaside spot, where the palm trees sway and turtles play in the turquoise sea. Chilled-out beach life is the focus here, with a seafront swimming pool, dining by the sands and movie nights all on offer. Don’t miss sipping the Blades family Caribbean rum cocktail recipe, the ‘Pirate Punch’ as the sun goes down over the horizon. It’s the perfect way to end a day in paradise.

beautiful private location!
the most fascinating beach with an artificial bay made many years ago by the owners grandfather who placed natural rock out in the water to create a gentle bay.
the owners also placed coral bowls to encourage fish. so you have your own private snorkel paradise!
lovely pool and sun area.
great restaurant! the best fish cakes on the island! and the impossible burger is amazing!
staff are super friendly and helpful!
we really enjoyed our visit.

Absolutely beautiful!! The sea view from our room / balcony is breath taking. The staff are all so lovely and friendly. I came here to celebrate my 60th birthday and the staff gave me a birthday card and bottle of bubbly. I was overwhelmed ho kind they are. Definitely recommend staying here 5***** +

Coconut Court Beach Hotel offers a charming beachfront stay with friendly staff and a relaxed vibe. Rooms vary—some guests praise spacious sea-view accommodations with kitchenettes, while others note outdated decor and noisy AC. The beach and pool areas are highlights, though shade options are limited. Breakfast receives mixed reviews, but the beach bar and local dining options shine. Ideal for travelers prioritizing location and hospitality over modern amenities. Review generated with IA as sum up of all reviews.

For the prices they offer there are better places to stay. We ended up here as we didn’t plan early enough. The image of a family run hotel is not our experience. We had no coffee, no tea in our room. Getting all fresh towels was inconsistent. We were greeted nicely when we first arrived. The pool is closed up early. Chairs on the beach are taken away as sunset. We would have liked to sit on the beach after sunset. Entering the ocean is difficult as there are rocks everywhere. There is also some sort of rock further out. This is not best beach area.

We heard someone returning their chicken back as it was not completely cooked! We decided to pass on getting any food from their restaurant. It is easy access to other good restaurants. The staff still need more training and we didn’t get a cozy feeling of a family run hotel.

We stayed for 8 nights and the rooms and the food were good. However, the real asset of this hotel are the staff who put in their 100% to ensure that we had a good time. The beach, although small, was good and not crowded. The hotel has a tiny reef area where you can see some types of fish. Jake’s bar across the road is part of the property and has the same great level of service.
