I hope we will have the opportunity to go back. There were 11 of us that booked here. The rooms were fabulous. The kitchenette had everything you would need. The resort was spotless and had a lot to offer. Furthermore, it was perfectly located for groceries, night life, beach, etc. All of the staff were super friendly and gave great recommendations. My only constructive criticism is that I would have enjoyed more music/events at the main pool area. More island music to enjoy while we swam and enjoyed our drinks. But, overall it was great!

Overall had an amazing stay! The staff was pretty helpful during check in, and the location is great. House keeping only come in to clean twice a week, but changes your towels daily if needed. When it rains a lot the lobby area does flood and the grass becomes extremely muddy and puddled. However we had a ground-level room and no water came in. There is a gym on property and fun activities for kids to do, mini golf, basketball etc.

My family of 4 stayed at Divi Dec 4-11. We absolutely loved it. We have no complaints. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend others to choose this hotel.
Here are some of the highlights that we enjoyed about Divi:
Dover beach- Wow. Stunning beach, very quiet as the hotel is situated at the end of the beach…we felt we had a private beach most of the time. Swimming was beautiful.
The grounds- immaculate. They do a really nice job keeping everything clean and well maintained. The mini putt was really fun. We played a few rounds everyday. The pickleball and tennis courts looked well maintained…
Pools- the main pool is really nice. However the smaller pool at the side of the hotel was a hidden gem! We usually used that pool in the morning and had it all to ourselves. The pool that is Oceanside is also really nice.
Staff- didn’t really interact with anyone, but everyone was always friendly.
Location- easy walking to restaurants and bars. We also walked to Massys grocery store a few times. Also the hotel is right on the main road for buses and ZR’s if you need to get around. Carlisle bay and Oistens are 10 minutes away.
The room- loved having the separate bedroom. The kids were on the pullout couch..didn’t look very comfortable but they are kids in Barbados, they can’t complain! The kitchen was well stocked with all the requirements for light cooking. The coffee maker and filters were definitely appreciated.
Overall, we loved it!

We love Barbados and the location on the gap is perfect with many restaurants and the beach just a few steps away. The rooms are decent but compared to other Divi resorts we have stayed at they could use some updating. That being said we will stay there whenever we go to Barbados.

I rated this hotel a one start due to the fact that my daughter was bitten up by BEDBUGS and the staff did not show and concern or compassion to my daughter. I booked this hotel through my travel agent on October 21, 2024. We stay in room 325 for three days until the Wifi went out, so we were moved to 216. This is where the stay became horrible. The day we moved to room 216, my daughter in-law began to complain about something bitten her legs. At first we thought that she was allergic to the bed sheets, but the bites got worst, so I checked the sheets and that when we discovered the "BEDBUGS" stains. I google what bedbugs looked like because I was in disbelief. So I had my daughter take pictures and call the front desk. The front desk was so unconcerned and had no compassion. He even told her that he have to check with his manager first before he can move her to another room. Also, he stated that the manager would have to come review the room before moving her to another room. Once she was moved to room 208 later in the evening. They never even compensated me after spending over $1800 dollars from 10-21-2022 to 10-31-2024 for so many disruptions and delayed comfort. I am going to speak with an attorney regarding this matter once I return back to the USA.
I HAVE NEVER BEEN EXPOSED TO BEDBUGS AT A HOTEL IN MY LIFE!!!
