I will be back. The staff were all very nice. The spa was AWESOME!! I had the warm stone massage, deep anti aging facial, and a full manicure and gel polish. All the ladies were great. The hotel is within walking distance to many places to eat, buy groceries, and just meet some nice people of the island.

A friend recommended this hotel and we were very happy with it. It is simple but has everything you need. We were surprised how comfortable and well-equipped the apartment was. We were in the pink building and walked out to a lovely, quiet pool. A short walk up to the main road gave us access to local buses going toward Oistins or Bridgetown. The hotel supplied beach towels so you don't need to bring them.

We have just stayed for 2 weeks at this wonderful hotel. The location is absolutely perfect, a lovely beach with free beds right outside the hotel. The pool is lovely and not too cold. There is a poolside restaurant where the service is excellent as is the food. Everyone is so friendly. There are loads of bars and eating placed just a short walk away. St Lawrence Gap is about a 15 minute walk but well worth it. The kitchen area of the room is a little tired but spotlessly clean as is the rest of the room. Beds are very comfy and having a balcony overlooking the pool and the sea is highly recommended.
Happy Life Is Easy
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I’m writing this one because it might help someone. And honestly, my experience on the last day sealed the deal for me.
The island itself is wonderful—but the hotel? Not so much. I’d strongly recommend looking for a better option.
Here’s why:
▪️ Transportation Issues
Before my arrival, I contacted the hotel to arrange a cab. It was supposed to pick me up with a sign, and I was really excited about it—having someone there to meet me. However, my flight arrived on time, and no one showed up. Later, I heard some bizarre excuse from the driver, which was just a plain lie.
Tip: Don’t book a cab through the hotel—it’s cheaper to get one at the airport.
▪️ Room Mix-up
I specifically requested and paid for a particular room, yet they gave me a different one. Of course, they had their excuses, but I know for a fact that I booked a specific room. At the time, I didn’t make a big deal out of it because I just wanted to enjoy the sun—but it was definitely disappointing.
▪️ Horrible Restaurant Experience
Do not rely on the hotel restaurant for food—it’s absolutely horrible.
The calamari I ordered turned out to be seven pieces of fried dough with no calamari inside.see picture 🤣
I ordered a beef burger and was served a lentil burger instead. When I pointed it out, the staff insisted it was beef—which was laughable because I love meat, have worked in restaurants for 10 years, and know the difference between lentils and beef. No idea why they even bothered lying.
The Caesar salad was drowning in dressing to cover up bad lettuce.
It was also really annoying how the staff kept trying to take my plate before I was finished—even though the restaurant was completely empty. It felt like they just wanted me to leave.
Tip: Don’t eat here. I tried four other recommended restaurants nearby, and only the burger place was decent. One of their recommendations, a Jamaican spot, actually made me sick.
▪️ Clueless Staff
It was strange that the staff knew so little about the island.
I wanted to try a local dish called cou cou, but not a single staff member had heard where I can find it.
They had a tour desk, but in five days, no one was ever there to help me book anything. The front desk staff also had almost no knowledge about local attractions, so I had to figure everything out online.
▪️ Rude Front Desk Staff & Late Checkout Issue
On the day of checkout, I asked for a late checkout—just 30 minutes to an hour—so I could get to the airport comfortably, especially since their luggage room wasn’t locked. The front desk lady (who worked on March 8th at 7 AM) not only refused but was extremely rude about it. She acted as if I was asking for something outrageous, even though check-in isn’t until 4 PM.
The funniest part? I had actually asked about late checkout the day before, and they said yes—so this wasn’t about policy, but about the lady’s attitude. She was already arguing with someone else about something unrelated, so I guess she was just having a bad morning.
▪️ Social Media Influence Ignored
Before arriving, I informed them that I’m a social media influencer with 150,000 followers across different platforms. They couldn’t have cared less. It’s strange that they underestimate the power of social media—because, obviously, I’ll be letting my followers know about my experience.
Final Thoughts
The island itself is absolutely amazing—a must-visit destination!!! 😍 I loved it!!! But this hotel? Definitely look for a better option.
The only good thing about this hotel is that it’s right on the beach, so the view is beautiful. However, swimming there isn’t ideal—it’s actually a pretty dangerous area. There are much better spots on the island for swimming.

The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located. The staff is friendly and professional, and the Wi-Fi is fast. The pool is well-kept and maintained, which added to our enjoyment. We had a fantastic time overall. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the ice machine and the nearby mini-market.
The only inconvenience we encountered was the lack of a broom in our unit, as we tended to bring sand back with us from the beach.
