My husband and I absolutely LOVED this place!! We were super skeptical because of the reviews but I think people that travel to NY don’t understand NY lol The room was EXACTLY what you need. We used it to shower & sleep while we toured the amazing city. The bus drops you off directly in front of the hotel. It’s so close to grand central station. It was clean & the staff were so nice to us. We were so busy we didn’t get a chance to use the amenities but the gym looked nice and had everything you needed. It was very convenient and we would definitely book there again!

We booked a queen room, when we got to the room there was a very small bed, had to go back to the lobby and ask for another room with a big bigger bed. I was missing water bottles in the bedroom? Sorry, tap water in New york was tasting like bleach. Breakfast was kind of disappointing. You will get it in a bag, it has a kind of prossesed orange juice, a weird type of crossaint , sweet joghurt and some times a banana. As a big hotel you can do better! Rooms were really clean. And the location of the hotel is great, however we got a room on the 4th floor, and the metro was really hearable in the bedroom, it did wake me up.

We stayed here for a few days to explore the city and it was amazing. It's within walking distance to Times Square, 5th Ave, Central Park, and a lot of great bars and restaurants. The staff greeted us each time we walked in and they were all very helpful whenever we needed any help. Most importantly, the bartender, Nick, was the best. He was probably the sweetest human being that I have ever met. He was so helpful with any questions that we had about the city. And he made amazing drinks. I definitely recommend seeing him if you stay here (but only if you tip good because he deserves it).

My fiancé and I just had the best stay here. It completely saved our trip to NYC. We originally booked another so-called “four star” hotel in Chelsea, which was truly terrible, so we switched to Westgate, and the room was pristine and stunning; the staff were lovely; the location was two blocks from Grand Central and the Chrysler Building; and it was exactly the same price as the other hotel. This is TRULY a four star hotel; it’s super easy to get anywhere in the city from the hotel; and the rooms are extremely nice to relax in. We’ll be staying here every time we come back to NYC.

Absolutely Horrible Experience! I recently stayed at this hotel with my friends, and I can't express how disappointed we were. From the moment we arrived, the service was atrocious. The worst part? My friend accidentally brushed her teeth with water that was contaminated—yes, you read that right, poop water! When we brought this to the staff's attention, they did offer to switch our room, but it was already late, and we decided to stay put for the night. We were told we could switch the next day. However, when we returned to the front desk the next morning, they completely backtracked on their offer! They claimed it was our fault for not switching rooms the night before, which was utterly ridiculous. The staff was not only unhelpful but also downright rude. This place has some serious issues with customer service, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to stay!
