Food and service have been great! They don’t have much for a night life but the singing in the lobby and couple of show they did in the garden theatre have been cool. The pool side chair game is real, get down there before 10am or you may not have a chair. Room service is quick and so is tray collect. Everything is done through their dreams app, which is super easy to use. Lazy river is great too, good pace. Infinity pool water is so nice, not cold at all, warm. Beach is murky but once you get 10ft out it’s fine.

We stayed here over NYE! We were beyond disappointed. There was nothing appealing upon entry. The exterior of the Hotel is so rundown and smells of rotting eggs. The lobby had no wow factor and not even greeted with a cocktail or smile. Walking to our room the halls smell of mildew with tons of dirty dishes and empty alcoholic bottles laying throughout the halls. The walls need so much cosmetic work (look so rundown). We finally get to our room and we had the executive suite. The living room rug had so many stains, counters not wiped, stains around the bathroom floors, patio doors covered in hand prints and patio door handles were so sticky. The bathroom tub was rusted around the drain. They do not give you wrist bands here which means any age can drink alcohol and anyone can enter the resort. They do not have enough pool and beach chairs to accommodate their guest, each morning was a battle. The zip line is not available most of the time being there. Everything just felt dirty. The beach is toilet water brown and has a stream going into it from the swamp on the other side. The smell of something rotting was insane. Food was horrible, we had all inclusive and would leave the resort to eat because it was so bad. I 100% would recommend NOT staying at this resort. Hyatt, I would think you would be better than this. We as a group of 30 were highly disappointed. Don’t waste your money or vacay time staying here.

Please be rest assured if you're reading all of these recent bad reviews and nervous about your upcoming trip. If you're not too hard to please, you'll have a great time. Yes, the hallways had a mild smell of mildew, and the beach wasn't crystal clear blue, however, it was fine to swim in, and the service was amazing - all staff were attentive and friendly. Our group enjoyed the food, I loved the variety of restaurants - the Asian was our favourite. And we had no problem getting chairs by the pool every day. The pools were a little chilly. However, the water slides and lazy river were a lot of fun. This would be a great place to take kids but was also fine for a group of adults. I really enjoyed the live entertainment in the lobby every night. Hats off to those who come and perform. I had a lot of fun here and hope to come again. My only issue is we paid extra for an ocean view room where I know some of our party were upgraded for free - which was great for them - but made me wish I didn't pay extra. Also please beware of booking any excursions with Freda from Air Transat - scam.

We just spent 3 days at this resort and I must say that it was one of our best experiences in the past 15 years with an all-inclusive! The staff was exceptional (EVERYONE WORKING AT THIS HOTEL) the food was amazing, kids activities… very clean and extremely organized… and most importantly… we felt very safe! thank you for a great stay!

Regarding comments about the lobby having an unpleasant smell or other complaints about the hotel, I believe such remarks often come from individuals seeking attention or those unfamiliar with finer experiences.
My wife, son, and I stayed at this hotel for three days, and I must say, our experience was exceptional. As frequent travelers—by which I mean genuine travel experiences, not just all-inclusive resort stays—we’ve developed a good sense of what qualifies as excellent. This place exceeded our expectations in every way, from outstanding service to impeccable cleanliness.
Our room was modern, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The food, whether at the restaurants or the buffet, was impressive for an all-inclusive resort. While you shouldn’t expect fine dining on par with a 5-star restaurant, the quality was undeniably good.
The hotel also catered wonderfully to families. Our son had an unforgettable time enjoying the water slides and various kid-friendly amenities. The overall atmosphere felt extremely comfortable and secure. It was clear the staff went above and beyond to ensure guests felt welcome, and their friendliness and attentiveness truly stood out.
Cleanliness deserves special mention—it was exemplary throughout the property. The only scent we encountered was the fresh, clean fragrance, which only added to the positive experience. If anyone finds that unpleasant, I’ll leave it to them to reassess their expectations. Regarding the beach at this hotel, my recommendation would be to visit the Cancun tourist zone for a better experience. This is the only minor drawback I can mention in an otherwise exceptional stay.
