This is a great resort. Staff is very friendly, food options are diverse (and good quality), and they provide a lot of 'little things' - there were always towels available, tooth paste/brush and a razor was provided at check in (in room), and there was always something going on (if you want to get involved). Beach is smaller, but connected to the longer extension so you can walk a good distance. Yes, there's seaweed, but it's the ocean. 😁
We were down during March Break so it was busy. You needed to be out around 630/7am to get lounge chairs.
I would highly recommend this resort. They did everything right.

Everything about this hotel is extremely good. However, I do have a few complaints. Many of the seats and sofas at restaurants, in the lobby, and in the room are stained and look visibly dirty. Another complaint would be the beach. It is bluish-brown at best and often has crocodiles on it not allowing guests to go swimming. The beach is quite murky considering it being the Caribbean but I guess that is due to the location being outside of the hotel zone. Overall, besides that, I rate it very highly as the food and service is extremely good. The buffet and other restaurants were delicious and everyone working there had a good attitude. Besides the stain on the mini couch, the room was very clean and comfortable. Oh and one more thing I forgot to mention was that some of the employees is the lobby really nag you to book an excursion or go to the Hyatt membership meeting. If they held back a little bit on that it would be much better but it is a minor inconvenience. Very good for families looking for an exceptional all inclusive resort at a good price but not worrying too much about the beach on property.

Went for a destination wedding and fell in love with this resort. I do travel often, and this was definitely not my first all-inclusive, but it definitely was one of the best. I absolutely recommend upgrading to the Unlimited VIP package. The perks were worth the cost! There is a separate lounge and pool for the Unlimited guests and by the second day they knew our names and knew the drinks we liked! The Unlimited package came with a private butler service and that was an outstanding perk! Our butler's name was Sean and he was kind and so very very helpful. Thanks again Sean! The rooms were grand and well appointed, the food and drinks were outstanding. There were ALWAYS places by the pool. The pools are wonderful and the option of the adults only pool was a nice respite after spending the morning at the kids pool with my daughter and her son. The house wines were great and that has never happened at other all-inclusives! The lobby bar at night was a hoot! The rotating musicians that entertained there nightly were really talented! I was sad to leave.

Food and service have been great! They don’t have much for a night life but the singing in the lobby and couple of show they did in the garden theatre have been cool. The pool side chair game is real, get down there before 10am or you may not have a chair. Room service is quick and so is tray collect. Everything is done through their dreams app, which is super easy to use. Lazy river is great too, good pace. Infinity pool water is so nice, not cold at all, warm. Beach is murky but once you get 10ft out it’s fine.

Dreams Natura in Puerto Morelos offers a fantastic all-inclusive experience for families, with a beautiful property packed with amenities and activities. The resort staff truly shines – friendly, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring a safe and enjoyable stay. Foodies will rejoice at the superb gastronomy, and the resort's commitment to being coral reef friendly is commendable. Day and night entertainment kept things lively, and the 24-hour room service and coffee shop were a definite plus. The resort even offers a limited adults-only area, catering to various guest needs.
However, Dreams Natura falls short in a key area, and that's its beach. While the resort itself is stunning, the murky waters, a consequence of the nearby mangroves, were disappointing. The added presence of crocodiles, requiring "swim at your own risk" warnings and vigilant monitoring by lifeguards, adds a layer of anxiety that significantly detracts from the beach experience. For those seeking the classic turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean, this resort might fall short.
Another significant drawback is the resort's isolated location. Tucked away miles from the main road and 15 miles from ("the seven") Cancún's Hotel Zone, transportation is costly. A roundtrip taxi into town will set you back $140 USD, making spontaneous trips impractical. This means careful planning and packing are essential. Also, be sure to double-check your room assignment upon arrival. We experienced a frustrating situation with DISHONEST check-in staff attempting to pass off a partial ocean view as a full one. This was eventually rectified, but unfortunately tarnished our initial impression and warranted a star deduction.
While the resort itself is great, we likely won't return due to our desire for the iconic turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean, swimmable beach, and the isolation of its location.
