In November 2024, my wife, sons, and two sisters and I visited this location for five nights, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food was excellent, particularly the hibachi, steak, and Italian restaurants. The staff were incredibly kind; Alejandro, in particular, provided exceptional poolside service each day with a welcoming smile, and his dedication was evident. The ladies who cared for our children were wonderful, providing engaging playtime and craft activities. We appreciated the nightly entertainment and found both the pools and the pristine beach to be delightful. We had no complaints during our stay. However, should we return, we would likely limit our stay to three nights at most, as we felt ready to explore other locations after the fourth day. Definitely a great place to stay!

I am very pleased with this hotel. Extremely clean. The staff is very friendly and very attentive. I had a great relaxing time here with my boyfriend.
We went to TRS Yucatan last year and it wasn’t a great experience at all for an expensive place to be. We didn’t have any issues here making reservations. There’s close access to the beautiful beach. And also across the street you can find little shops to souvenir shop.

Second time here and it just gets better! The trip started off so well with the check in with Veronica at the preferred lounge. She was able to accommodate my requests and made sure our stay was as great as possible. Food was delicious as always, but the beach service was extra special with Magaly. I can’t wait to go back! My overall experience is 5/10. Been with the club for almost 7 years now. Room service and other hospitality was excellent. However, they turned down our request for late check out. First of all, my tier of membership has the late check out perks. Secondly, we booked 2 weeks in advance with that request. The management has to do better. The resort is not that crowded too. Spa is not up to par with the price. Romantic dinner set up was ok, food was terrible though. Nothing special about the food or drink. Kids club here is the best. Lots of show and activities too.

We had a lovely time at Dreams Sands. We found the food to be quite good, the restaurants better than the buffet at least for dinner. Breakfast in the buffet was really good with made to order crepes, omelets, Mexican food. The beach is really nice, it has a large sandy area and lots of chairs. The property is constantly being swept, cleaned and the staff are working really hard. The daily activities were fun and the nightly shows were entertaining.
The only drawbacks for us were, the hotel itself is dated, after it rained the ceiling was leaking in the buffet area which is not ideal. We really enjoyed playing beach volleyball one day and people played for hours. The next day they didn’t want to put the net up because of wind, then later when it was less windy they did not put it up because the chairs were in the way, we moved the chairs and then they said the ropes were not set up. Other resorts have a permanent volleyball net set up. Surely that would be a more sustainable solution.
Overall, for the money it was a nice resort. If you want the newest resort out there, there are many more expensive options.
