Our experience at Elephant Hills was truly unforgettable and a highlight of our first trip to Thailand. We had the privilege of a private tour with Tony, who was an exceptional guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and went out of his way to make our time special. Tony has such a kind and genuine personality; it was clear he is passionate about what he does. The whole experience felt personal and well-organized. We couldn’t recommend Elephant Hills and Tony more highly—this is a must-do for anyone visiting Thailand!

Totally fabulous. Lots of activities, good food and plenty of it. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. It's not all about the elephants, that is just a small part, but lovely to see how well they are cared for and have some ethical interaction with them. Our guide, Chief, was pure class. Knew everyone's names and made it a personal experience. Tents are well equipped and comfortable and the surroundings well kept. Would recommend in a heart beat ♥️

This was one of the things I was very much looking forward to when we were on our way to Thailand and it was amazing. We choose the 3 day, 2 nights option. The first night we stayed at their main camp and the second night we stayed on the lake.
The tour guides are amazing. We had Tam, she was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun.
This ain’t the holiday where you stay and enjoy your time in the tent - it is packed with activities. You don’t have to do them all but since you only spend a couple of days there, i’d say you must!
Great food and evening activities. I do wish I could spend more time in the tents and enjoy the location, but time flies when you have fun.
You don’t spend a lot of time with the elephants, you feed them and learn about them, take some picture. Yes, you just want to spend more time with them BUT you have to remember this is an ethical place. You get lucky enough to enjoy THEIR space and THEIR life, so you can’t enforce the things you want to do on them.
The tents are just amazing, you forget this is not a hotel room. Very comfortable and it’s amazing hearing the sound of the jungle at night!

Amazing place! We did the three-night package as a family with two teenagers and everybody loved it!
Positives:
- The activities were really well-planned with just the right blend of action and chill-out. We never felt like we were being rushed from place to place, and everything happened smoothly. Meeting and feeding the elephants was very exciting and unhurried.
- The buffet meals - even on the boats moored on lakes - were tasty.
- The double-height luxury tented accommodation was stylish and just right for the jungle environment. There were fewer mosquitoes than I'd expected.
- Pond, our tour guide, and all the other people we met were friendly, fun and professional.
Negatives (I'm being picky):
- Since we went in July there was plenty of rain, so the overall humidity and lack of AC anywhere meant that towels and clothes were still wet in the mornings.
- It was hard to get privacy in the tent without closing all the inner curtains, which meant we couldn't see the jungle around us.
- The main road passed fairly close to our end of the jungle (tent 61) so we could hear it clearly.
Overall, though, Elephant Hills was the perfect finish to our two week holiday, and I'd recommend it to everybody!

My partner and I had a great experience with Elephant Hills on the 3 day, 2 night jungle adventure. Our guide Ing was great, she spoke great English, was always ready to help with photos and such and did a great job helping to spot animals in the wild. All of the activities were amazing from getting to spend time with the elephants, to exploring the cave, feeding the fish and even the kayaking we got to see a number of monkeys in the wild. The tents were really nice and I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was, especially when you’re out in the jungle and wouldn’t otherwise expect much given the location. Was a highlight of our trip and couldn’t recommend this enough to folks visiting Thailand. Khao sok is an incredible place and is a cannot miss for anyone that loves nature and the outdoors!
