We recently stayed for 10 nights for our honeymoon and couldn’t have been happier with our experience! We were personally greeted by Mark one of the managers when we arrived which was a nice touch and he or Manuel the general manager were generally always present at breakfast in the mornings and on hand during the day to answer any questions, issues, generally for a chat or to give any recommendations. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and is set in a great location with stunning views! The beach, pools and all of the facilities were great and the restaurants and food were top class too. The room was excellent and was always kept spotless by housekeeping. Literally everything had been thought of from travel adapters to the hotels own ‘mosquito spray’ provided in the room. What really made our honeymoon that little bit more special and memorable were the personal touches and the staff. We had a great honeymoon welcome left in our room when we first arrived and also a lovely personalised welcome at our first breakfast. From the reception staff day to day and with check in and out, the buggy drivers, pool boys, bar staff, breakfast, lunch and dinner, all of the staff in every area of the hotel were absolutely fantastic, they couldn’t do enough for us and it really made for a brilliant experience. We spoke to various other guests during our stay, most of which we found had returned at least 3 or 4 times, some even 15+ times and It really isn’t hard to see why! We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and would really love to return again in the future! Kind regards, Tom & Alana

Wow ! What a fabulous stay we had at the Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui. We did not want to leave. Such a warm, friendly beautiful hotel. Mark the General manager always friendly, talking to guests and happy! All the staff we met were equally as helpful and incredible. The room we had was a dream, everything was perfect. Thank you for the most beautiful memories at your hotel. We felt like we were in paradise in a dream location.

Staff are phenomenal !!! Truly wonderful people. The room was comfortable and large. We loved the location in a quiet secluded cove with nice beach. Facilities and restaurants were above average. Quick Bolt or Grab to dinner if you want to leave the property. Highly recommended for couples.

I have stayed at many wonderful hotels around the world, but Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui rates as one of the best. Koh Samui is in fashion at the moment because of White Lotus, but having stayed at the Four Seasons I much prefer Garrya Tongsai Bay. As you enter the secluded grounds, the resort is situated around its own tranquil private beach and you really are cocooned away in a true Thai oasis. The staff are uniformly friendly and warm but I would just like to mention Pu, also known as ‘mummy’ to the staff. Pu works in the restaurant at breakfast, and her enthusiasm for the fresh fruits and juices is beyond compare. She welcomes guests, informing you what is best to eat that day, and her smile and infectious joy is a real tonic to start the day. There are many attractive details I could mention, in particular the idyllic location, although it’s the staff which make this place so very special. This perfect environment can’t happen by accident and the management, who you see walking around in a friendly non-intrusive way, are clearly getting things just right. Will definitely return to this paradise as soon as possible!

There are lots of resorts on Samui, most of which are fairly nearby to each other. Garrya stands out in that it is more secluded, offering what feels like a private jungle island experience but with extremely easy access to the rest of the island should you choose to explore. We stayed in November for our honeymoon and the service here was truly incredible. We chose to do the airport transport which was seamless. They met and welcomed us upon arrival, and decorated our bed with flower petals as we had told them it was our honeymoon! The food at the resort is also quite delicious (just expensive, but that's the norm at resorts). Room service is quick, and every single staff at the resort acts with care and with a smile. They even go around to the units mid-day offering little complimentary (and yummy) snacks. Unfortunately it rained a bunch when we were there, but the pools were very nice and tranquil when we did get to use them. And you can ask for golf cart transfer from the main building to your room if your room is far away!! The best part is that, despite the rain, it felt like a tranquil and luxurious jungle escape, given the location and overall vibe of the resort. I don't think you'd get the same sense at other resorts. I'd love to come back one day when it's sunnier!
