It started with we arrived 6AM and they said we need to fill in a sheet and come back in an hour, an hour later they ask us to come back in 2 hours in 2 hours they ask us to come back at 1pm. Around 11:30 the receptionist called me to the reception, he said there is a room, but we paid for the standard room and thats not great and he would recommend to upgrade for 100 euros which is a discounted price. We checked both rooms they were more or less the same but the 'standard' room was a lot more run down, cracks here and there musty smell, fridge was not working, so we decided to upgrade. The food: The breakfast every day was the same fruits only apples, grapes and frozen kiwi. Lunch tastless, oily and really poor quality mixed sea food or unknown meat with of chips, rice or plain pasta. The leftover from the lunch then turned back on the dinner just in diferent look. After 3 days we went to eat out. Deserts was sugary and half frozen baklava served. The beach bar was okay, but the drinks were the cheapest possible. In contrast the staff was nice. the restaurant and pool area was small compared to how many rooms they have, there was a lot of queuing. The hotel was very old, in need of refurbishment.

Where do I start. When we arrived we was asked if we would like to upgrade our room and we said yes after reading all of the reviews online and it’s a good job we did. The food was something I wouldn’t feed my dog, chicken was pink, nothing had flavour, and the drinks. The drinks were absolutely shocking. We ended up eating out every night although we booked all inclusive. How this hotel got 4 stars in any country baffles me. In the corridor at night you genuinely cannot sleep due to all the noise and the staff don’t really care. The sunbeds , good luck getting one that’s all I can say. The only good thing about the hotel is the sun. Below is some of the hazards that you need to be aware of, one of the main entrances there is just a loose hose pipe on the ground. The grids by the pool are damaged. Balcony well I think there are better views in a prison cell Just avoid this hotel at all costs

Tea And Cake

This hotel is shocking. The rooms are tiny and as per the other reviews, they stitch you up with an ‘upgrade’ fee to get a shitty room. The food is disgusting and the service is poor. There is constant noise and the walk to the room is past the kitchen, housekeepers office, toilets and plant room. There is one bar which is outside, the clientele are rank and it has absolutely put me off Crete. Don’t bother.

Arrived tonight would have been nice to stay at the hotel. We booked 5 rooms a year ago and we have been split up and put in self catering apartments. Whilst we can use the hotel we couldn’t unpack as we were moving around the next day. Stressed is an understatement 😢

Disaster, horror and disgrace. Are three words I would describe my initial experience at this hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 4am, we were greeted with complete and utter lack of warmth. They dismissed us and said check in is at 3pm and made us wait three hours to ‘speak to the morning staff’ to see if we could check in. Disgraceful. The drinks… water down alcohol, tasteless coke, bad cocktails aka syrup and juice. Quick mention the bar staff were lovely though! Buffet? more like limited! Same options every night, tastes okay but not enough options to keep everyone satisfied. Slim to none vegetarian options if you are veggie. SAVE YOURSELF! Don’t make the mistake that I did. Brill location though one minute walk to the beach and two minute walk to the Heronissos strip, 15 minutes to malia strip. Definitely go! IF you don’t want to have a holiday with nice food and drinks. It was aimed towards older people and weren’t fond of younger people just to keep that in mind. Although me and my group had a good time on our holiday I would NEVER go back to this hotel. The pool area is nice during the day but people do hog the loungers so if you’re not up at the crack of dawn don’t expect a lounger lol. Welp hope this review helps! Goodbye!
