The Porto Greco Village Beach Hotel all-inclusive package includes:
- Breakfast buffet at the main restaurant (7.30am to 10.30am)
- Lunch buffet at the main restaurant (12.30pm to 2.30pm)
- Dinner buffet at the main restaurant (6.30pm to 9.30pm)
- Drinks served with lunch and dinner. This includes local draught beer, local wine, soft drinks, water.
- Drinks at the lobby bar, pool bar, and Porto Greco bar (10am to 11pm)
- This includes hot drinks, water, soft drinks, juices, local beer, wine, brandy, raki, ouzo, gin, vodka, whiskey, tequila, rum, coconut, peach, kiwi, a selection of cocktails.
- Branded drinks are available in the main bar with an extra charge
- Ice cream at the lobby and pool bar (10am to 6.30pm)
- Small selection of drinks at the Picollo bar (4.30pm to 5.30pm)

We recently spent 9 nights at Porto Greco Village Beach Hotel in Hersonissos, Crete, and overall, we were happy with our stay. The hotel has a lot to offer, especially with its stunning beachfront location and friendly staff, but there are a few areas that could use some improvement.
The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean, but the air conditioning unit was a bit of a letdown. It was quite loud, especially in the middle of the night, to the point where the noise was almost like a broken machine. This definitely impacted our sleep quality and is something the hotel should address.
On the positive side, the food at the hotel was quite good for an all-inclusive experience. There was a decent variety of dishes, and the quality was consistent. However, we felt that the dining area could benefit from more seating and a wider selection of food options, especially during peak meal times when it tended to get a bit crowded.
Despite these issues, our overall experience was enjoyable. The location is fantastic, right by the beach, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings, which made for a very pleasant holiday.

This was my fourth and most relaxed visit to Crete. The only room for improvement would've been adding a week to our stay. Our room had a 'picture postcard', perfect sea-view and whilst the view might have been better from the suite above but then the extra flight of stairs! As beautiful as our room may have been, the real joy was the product of all the hard work from the staff and management. I'm particularly grateful for their efforts at the back end of a long season. A special mention for the front of house (reception) staff who, together with the customer services manager, secured an elusive booking at Black Pepper for a sunset meal on our last night.
I very much look forward to a return visit and wish all the staff happy holidays of their own...

My stay at Porto Greco Village Beach Hotel was, unfortunately, a disappointment. From the moment we checked in, it became clear that the experience would not match the expectations set by the booking site.
Firstly, the rooms were not as described. They were old and lacked the modern touches we anticipated. The bed was uncomfortably hard, and to make matters worse, our room was only cleaned once during our 7-day stay. We also only received fresh towels twice, which was far from sufficient.
The food at the hotel was another letdown. The meals were mostly cold or lukewarm at best, and the variety was limited. However, one positive aspect was that the hotel did offer a different menu each day, even if the options were minimal.
The service at King Scorpio Bar, which was included in the all-inclusive package, was also disappointing. The staff were unfriendly when we ordered a few drinks, which was surprising and off-putting.
Lastly, the Streetfood Corner was supposed to offer snacks between lunch and dinner, but for three days in a row, the pita gyros chicken was served undercooked. The meat was so pink it was raw.
Overall, the experience fell short of expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend Porto Greco Village Beach Hotel based on this stay.

I spend a holiday at Porto Greco Village Beach Hotel in september 2024.
It was a beautiful hotel complex, spotless clean everywhere and with the most friendly staff offering good service.
One night we wanted to watch Netflix in the room and couldn't make the TV work.
10 minutes later a technician came and fixed it.
Our room was spacious and modern with a nice little terrace. The room was cleaned and towels changed every time we put the cleaning sign out.
The concept with small pools scattered around the complex was perfect for guests who does not find the concept of large groups of noisy playing kids appealing.
There was also small beaches opposite the hotel where you could rent sunbeds for a reasonable price (-or arrive after noon when the money collector left).
As some reviews point out the restaurant did not serve 5 star Michelin food, but considering the amount of people dining almost around the clock it was good plain fresh food and the buffet offered a large selection of different dishes.
Along the beachside of Hersonissos only a short walk away from Porto Greco there is a lot of restaurants, partying and noisy nightlife .
But if you prefer a more quiet holiday away from all this just stay at the resorts bars and restaurants.

Just a 20 minute ride from the airport, and right on the beach. The food was so fresh, healthy and gorgeous - every meal. Lots of choice to be fair. The bar and restaurant staff were super friendly and I will go again.
