A beautiful resort in a beautiful location. It's a true first class top of the range resort where the staff do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. All of the meals prepared in the restaurant are tasty, well presented and what I would consider larger than normal portion size for a Thai meal. The price was also higher than a normal Thai meal but I considered the price to match the size and quality of the meal. If like us you're travelling with people on dietary restrictions you do need to be very clear on them otherwise you could receive something you're allergic to. They do have a vegan menu at the restaurant which is amazing. My only criticism of the restaurant is the menu and food labelling. Dishes on the breakfast buffet that did not have the dairy symbol on the label in fact had cheese sprinkled over the top. Some things like white bread suggested it had milk and eggs in it which I find very hard to believe. But other than that the meals and the service( particularly June who was excellent) provided by the team was first class. The pool and surrounding areas are stunning as is the beach view. I'm particularly impressed by the level of coordination at the resort in keeping everything clean and tidy. I also give great respect to the resort management for executing two amazing wedding services.

Gio v. Dam

Stayed at the Marriott Hua Hin, and it’s everything you’d expect from a top resort. The location is perfect—right on the beach, and close to the night markets and restaurants. Highlights: Pools: There’s a huge pool area with plenty of space to lounge. The swim-up bar? Big win. Breakfast buffet: Easily one of the best I’ve had—tons of variety, from fresh fruit to pastries to made-to-order dishes. Rooms: Super clean, spacious, and well-designed with great attention to detail. Definitely worth upgrading to a sea-view room if you can. Tip: If you’re traveling with kids, the kids’ club and family pool area are fantastic. For couples, the beachside loungers are perfect for relaxing with a cocktail. Service is 10/10—staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Whether you’re here for a family holiday or a quiet getaway, it’s an easy recommendation.

Overall the hotel/resort is great. The staff were amazing from the moment we arrived including providing us with a welcome juice and playing with my son. They upgraded our room to a Poolside room and even brought us a baby cot and steriliser straightaway. In the room they had written a lovely message on the mirror thanking us for our Marriot loyalty and asked to take a picture. At breakfast they brought us our coffee straightaway and the buffet options are fantastic. The food is great and lots of options. They have 3 different pool areas and a nice slide for kids to enjoy. The water is slightly cold even in 30 degrees heat but is clean and lots of sun loungers. They provide complementary ice lollies for the kids. The beach was not the best when we were there but the pool is fine. Located on the main road of Hua Hin and only 15 minutes walk from the night market plus loads of restaurant options.

Ubaya Medawela

It’s truly an amazing place to be. Exceptionally well-maintained in all areas, from the garden and lobby to the restaurants and rooms. The staff, regardless of their role, provide outstanding hospitality to all guests. The beachfront is expansive, allowing you to walk as far as you like. The shallow waters near the shore are perfect for a relaxing dip and a bit of fun. If you’re in Hua Hin, Thailand, this is definitely a must-visit place.

Excellent choice. We stayed four nights with a 3.5 year old and an infant. I would say this Marriott is a great choice for families. All the staff are very friendly towards kids and the facilities all cater to the entire family. Children’s menus and cutlery all restaurants. The pools and water play are a hit and the kids club has all day activities for children ages 4+ (or you can just hang out and not do any scheduled activities). Siam Bakery was great for a snack or quicker meal. Ate at all the restaurant (Big Fish, Amber Kitchen, Pool Bar and Lobby Bar) and we were very impressed with all the food. High quality, good taste and good portions. Originally hesitant to pay 800THB for the buffet breakfast, but we tried it once and ended up going back three times - so much variety and you definitely can get your money worth. Our room had a couple issues (AC broke but was repaired within 3 hours one evening), we could hear banging/thuds from other rooms (maybe doors opening, moving furniture) which woke us and our baby at night. Would also like to have some quicker food options so families who need food quickly can grab and go. Can’t go wrong at this Marriott!
