In my opinion, Il-Mercato is good hotel, who are looking for budget options. Yep, rooms are quite dirty, but It didn't interfere us to enjoy our vacation, stuff is great 👍,they always tried to make us happy, thanks for this. Location is also good. There are a plenty of shops near, in spite of everything is located nearby, bus always is ready to bring you somewhere. In general, I wanna say thank Il-Mercato hotel, for hospitality ❤️

The swimming pool team is excellent, and the reception staff were helpful. However, we had to wait for about an hour and a half to check into our rooms, and once we did, no towels were provided. The hotel facilities overall are good, but unfortunately, the rooms are outdated and poorly maintained. As for the restaurant, the variety of food is very limited. During our five-day stay, the three daily meals showed no noticeable changes or special dishes, which was quite disappointing.

‏I spent my vacation with my friends and it was amazing!! The staff was great and animation team were full of energy, so funny, friendly, and always helpful we love all of them❤️ The food was delicious and diverse, the view and parties were wonderful. Definitely coming back again! Thank u for everything❤️❤️

Unfortunately, my stay at Mercato Hotel was quite disappointing. Today and also yesterday, housekeeping informed me that bottled water is not provided every day — which is unacceptable for any hotel. The room is cleaned daily, but no shampoo or toiletries are restocked, and I have to call reception every single day just to get fresh towels. The only positive aspect of my stay was the staff — they are genuinely kind, helpful, and professional. Their good attitude is probably the only thing that made me overlook some of the issues. Overall, the service does not match the hotel’s rating or expectations.

My stay at this hotel was honestly terrible. The rooms were in bad condition, the bathrooms were dirty, and in both rooms we booked, the bathtubs were completely clogged. Housekeeping clearly wasn’t doing their job properly. The food was the same every single day — no variety, no change, just boring and repetitive meals. At check-in, the receptionist gave me the key before the room was even ready, and I had to wait until 4 PM to actually move in. Room service staff were rude and unprofessional, and the overall attitude towards me as an Egyptian guest was noticeably worse compared to how they treated foreign tourists. But once I mentioned I had a foreign passport, the way they treated me changed completely — and that says a lot. I would never stay here again, and I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone expecting decent service or basic cleanliness.
