Infinity on the Beach

Stayed for a one week vacation with my adult children. We each had a room on the 3rd floor facing the pool and ocean. The hotel is in a perfect location. The staff was superb and bent over backwards to help meet any of our needs! From front desk to restaurant to the bar to housekeeping.everyone on staff was pleasant and very helpful. We heard that new management had bought the premises and they are “restructuring”the hotel , we truly hope that the staff gets rehired ! They are what made our vacation even more memorable. I also hope that the new management does not take away the charm of this hotel.

Very chaotic and disorganized when it comes to check in and check out. I had to wait close to an hour to get my room key, even though I reserved months in advance. The establishment needs to have at least 3 people working front desk. One for checkins, one for checkouts and one for other matters. They only had one person doing everything, and an assistant who was in training. This is too much for one person, and it bodes for terrible customer service. There are a bunch of hidden charges when you check out, including a daily fee for cleaning service. The bar was great. They made the best drinks and the staff at both the restaurant and bar were amazing. The food was really good too. Location is great. They have access to a great beach front and are located on the St. Lawrence Gap. They are also only a 10 minute drive from the airport. This place is great for day visits, but I will choose to stay elsewhere if I return to Barbados for vacation.

Great experience smooth check in and out. Customer service with the spa was poor, the expectation wa that i reach out to the spa employee via what's app to find out availability etc as opposed to front desk staff having that information and have the ability to schedule guests needles to say I attempted to get an appointment multiple times without succeeding. Restaurant area, bar and pool absolutely enjoyed!!.

Such a shame as a returning customer the infinity seems to have lost its way slightly. The staff are friendly and the location is good. The problem is facilities which are lacking due to day passes. 3 days we were unable to get an umbrella on the beach due to the day passes taking them all. Kenny was helpful and got us an umbrella following this on our last day. On the days we could not get umbrellas we went across to the pool on the road side hotel which is generally OK. However this became a problem as the hotel had on 2 occasions sold day passes and circa 25 people turned up to throw kids parties taking over the pool and lounge area. On another day a large group of day pass guests turned up and everyone by the pool (6 couples) ended leaving as it got very loud and a bit chaotic. It seems now there are a lot of people not staying at the hotel using the facilities which were stretched before. This means the guests staying here are left short. We have chosen not to return and have booked alternative accommodation for next year.

I've only been for business but every time I go everyone is so nice and welcoming. Super sad that it's closing but I'm happy that I had the pleasure to be apart of it's history. Good luck to all their employees as they start there new journeys.
