This is a beautiful hotel, and it is not expensive. They have a portion of the hotel that is dedicated as Beach Club (time share) so they maintain the resort to impeccable standards. It is very private but also has many services within walking distance. All Phuket attractions are driving distance away, but this is true of nearly every resort in Phuket. The buffet breakfast is legendary. The other on site restaurants are a bit overpriced. There are cheap choices on the edges of the property, but overall somewhat limited. Hotel has a travel desk on site and can arrange any tourist activities you desire

Our stay at JW Marriott Phuket was absolutely fantastic! One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet—and that says a lot, considering I’m usually not a fan of buffets. The variety, quality, and freshness of the food were outstanding, making every morning a real treat. A special mention goes to tennis coach Simon, who made our sessions so much fun with his great energy and enthusiasm. He truly elevated our experience and ensured we had a fantastic time on the court. The service level throughout the resort was exceptional, even compared to other 5-star resorts in Thailand. Every staff member went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, from the warm welcome to the attentive service at every touchpoint. Overall, a perfect stay—we can’t wait to return! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A Once-Grand Icon in Desperate Need of Revival The JW Marriott Phuket boasts one of the best and quietest beach settings on the island -an idyllic location that truly sets it apart. However, despite this stunning natural advantage and the unwavering dedication of the brilliant staff, the hotel itself feels like a grand old dame past her prime. The property’s tired and worn-out appearance is impossible to overlook, and there appears to be no visible renovation plan. Without immediate attention, the resort risks resembling the set of an apocalyptic zombie movie. Loyal guests who once cherished the elegance and ambiance may soon look elsewhere, leaving behind the legacy of what used to be a true 5-star experience. To preserve the hotel’s reputation and continue attracting discerning travelers, a comprehensive refurbishment is urgently needed. The passion of the team deserves a setting that matches their dedication, and guests deserve the luxury they have come to expect from a JW Marriott property.

JW Marriott has done it again with the one in Thailand. They made sure we got everything we asked for. The beach there was incredibly fun. We were lucky enough to meet a elephant during our stroll through the hotel.

So many people recommended this hotel to us, and they were absolutely right! It was the perfect spot for a family vacation, and we all had a fantastic time. The hotel is very family-friendly and thoughtfully equipped for young kids, with essentials like high chairs, kids’ cutlery, plates, a sterilizer, cot, and bedding. The hotel isn’t the most modern, but it’s far from run down – everything is pristine and well-maintained. The staff was experienced and incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. We loved having a 7-Eleven right outside for quick snack runs, and each of the hotel’s restaurants offered a unique experience with delicious food. Breakfast had something for everyone, with a wide range of options. The bed was super comfortable, and the quality of the sheets and pillows was top-notch. The hotel location was ideal – close to the airport yet secluded enough to feel like a real getaway, with easy beach access. We honestly couldn’t find a single negative thing about this place!
