This was one of the best resorts I’ve ever visited ❤️. From the moment we arrived, the experience was incredible. They upgraded our rooms to the wellness category, which came with its own private beach view. In fact, every room in the hotel offers a stunning beach view, making the stay feel even more special.
The beaches are spotless, with soft sand and crystal-clear water—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The resort also offers fantastic amenities, including two beaches and free activities to keep you entertained.
The food was absolutely amazing! They serve the best Italian dishes I’ve ever tried, and the breakfast menu was vast with a variety of flavorful options. If you love Indian food, you’re in for a treat! They have an Indian chef who prepares homely meals that taste just like home.
This resort is a perfect combination of luxury, relaxation, and exceptional dining. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

Resort is amazing overall. The staff is super friendly. Their concierge is very helpful and can arrange outside day
activities for a reasonable price The food is delicious. The amenities and activities are entertaining. The kids club is very nice. The room service is 8/10 just because they don’t fill soap liquids every day. Also when I arrived there was hair in room from previous guests and I called twice to ask them to clean with no luck. Even when they came next day to clean the hair was still there. Nevertheless over all highly recommended resort.

Not the best value for money in Mauritius but it’s LUX. Very nice to relax. VERY pleasant staff and service. The hotel offers in-house activities - water skiing was awesome. Didn’t find much to see or do outside of the resort. If you venture to Port Luis, NAMASTE restaurant has the best Indian cuisine!!!!

Our stay at LUX* Grand Gaube a few years ago was truly unforgettable. While slightly more secluded, its exclusivity adds to the resort’s unique charm. Nestled in a stunning private bay, it offers breathtaking sunsets and exceptional service, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. One of the standout touches was the personal, fully serviced cooler boxes on the beach—pure luxury! The resort is modern and upscale, featuring an incredible beachside restaurant, Beach Rouge, where fresh fish is served daily. Among all the resorts on the island, LUX* undoubtedly excels in its dining experience.
Beyond relaxation, the resort’s bay is perfect for sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, and a variety of other water sports, making it an ideal destination for both adventure and leisure.
This resort is more focused on a tranquil and relaxing experience rather than activities like waterskiing, tubing, and snorkeling.
However, our experience wasn’t without its disappointments. There was an issue with our accommodation upon arrival, and we found that the rooms were in need of maintenance. Given the premium price, we felt that the accommodations didn’t quite meet the expected standard. Hopefully, improvements have been made since our stay, but as we haven’t returned, we’re unsure if these concerns have been addressed.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with several aspects of our recent stay at your hotel.
Firstly, we were promised a special spa treatment on our last day of vacation, which unfortunately never materialized. This was something we were really looking forward to as a relaxing conclusion to our trip.
Secondly, the Valentine's Day breakfast that was advertised as a unique experience turned out to be just a simple ordered-in meal. This was quite disappointing as we had expected something more in line with the special occasion.
Lastly, the snorkeling sites recommended by your staff were substandard. The visibility was poor, making the experience far less enjoyable than anticipated. This was a significant letdown, especially considering the emphasis placed on these activities in your promotional materials.
I hope you will address these issues to ensure future guests do not encounter similar disappointments.
Sincerely,
Gabriel
