Hello everyone,
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas and I must say, the experience was quite memorable. While the hotel may not boast the most modern amenities or intricate details in its decor, it certainly made up for it with one of the best buffets I've ever experienced in Las Vegas.
During my visit, I focused primarily on exploring the culinary offerings of the hotel, so I cannot speak to the overall room quality or other amenities. However, I can confidently say that the Luxor Hotel's buffet exceeded my expectations. In my opinion, it stands out as a hidden gem among the many dining options along the Las Vegas strip.
I would highly recommend the Luxor Hotel to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give their buffet and dinner options a solid 10 for their exceptional quality and variety.

Unfortunately, not the best. We stayed here quite a few times from the time they opened their doors. Yes, it is one of the "older" hotel/casinos now, and it is starting to show. Just looks run down. Rooms are a nice size, but we could not have had a worse view (room 6093). If you wand a nicer view (not rooftops and sides of buildings, ask for a tower room). Shower door did not open properly with a broken handle, we had no soap for hands or shower, no washcloths (I had to ask 3 times to the non-English speaking housekeeper). By day 3 we finally got a washcloth. There was no fridge in the room or coffee maker... so we had to keep going downstairs to Starbucks for $8 coffee. We found ourselves mostly walking through to New York New York, which had an abundant amount of food choices and a livelier casino. Location is convenient, as you can walk through to several other casinos, and MGM is across the street to catch the monorail (that used to be free, but now is $6 per person one way). Next time, we will spend the extra money and stay somewhere in the middle of the strip.

Stayed here for wwwy fest and thought it was perfect for our needs! The hotel itself is unique, beautiful, and very clean. Staying at the end of the strip was honestly great! It was a short walk over to the monorail (we could have taken the tram over, but wanted the exercise), it made getting over to the festival grounds a breeze. Breakfast at the cafe was quick, and there were large portions. Mobile check-in went smooth and very quick! Rooms were clean, comfortable, cool, and surprisingly quiet in the evening. Would stay here again :)

Rooms weren't bad we were in the premium area they were fine and felt updated but the other room was in the pyramid, it was fine to but the hallways felt dated. Both rooms had no refrigerator or coffee maker. Got shocked by an elevator button. No buffet but went to the Excalibur one and felt it was overpriced for the food served.

Second time here at the Luxor and it did not disappoint. Titanic and bodies were good experiences, food was good and plentiful. Pyramid cafe is outstanding, we have been there a few years in a row. We get the corner suite with hot tub and the room was nice. Air conditioning was the only thing that was not so great.
