Room change due to a very strong musty smell. The hotel is not situated by the water. You first have to cross very busy street to get to the pool and restaurant. Very dirty beach. Restaurant and bar are very expensive and the food quality is comparable to food from 7/11. Mango lassi tastes like pure syrup and lava cake like the one from 7/11. All outrageously expensive. Very comfortable bed and very sweet and helpful staff members. 5 star hotel like this should also offer shuttle bus to the airport free of charge.

I’m not a huge fan of resorts but I had a great time at this one. The staff were really friendly, the kitchen food was great and most importantly the private beach was super clean. The buffet breakfast and seafood buffet was ok, but the food off the menu was really good. It’s pretty close to town so local restaurants with Thai food aren’t that far. There is also a really good French patisserie about 10 minute walk into town. It’s full of French people so it must be good! Anyway I had a great time even as one who doesn’t usually like resorts.

This hotel is nothing short of Amazing.
The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. It makes you jump right into your comfort zone.
We had a pool in front of our balcony which was again so nice. The staff here is extremely friendly and warm. They’ll make sure to have a conversation with you and ask you about your day and help you with other things on the island.
You have to cross a small road to get to the beach and bigger pool area for which there is security which was so thoughtful. I can’t get enough.
The pool area connecting to the beach was so quiet and serene you could just relax listening to the waves. The game area was so fun, being adults without children we spent 2 hours in there. It was truly difficult leaving this place.
Will be back for more. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

Our son was injured in the water slide and the staff kept asking about him and sending him stuff. We also enjoyed a cooking class in the hotel as part of the deal we bought and we super liked it! Also the kids club is great, the gaming room and the free cocktails happy hour. It was so hard leaving this hotel…

The room we had, bottom floor, smelled of turpentine or some oil based paint. I got sick a few nights after we arrived with a cough. If we left the room for a period of time, the cough subsided. Ten minutes Bach in the room and I was coughing again.
I would not stay here again. Too many better choices that aren't an ancient building trying to be a 5 star
