Lovely hotel, great food , friendly and helpful staff always willing to assist. Beach yes it's alot of steps down hill but it's nothing to strenuous there is a walk way further along the beach up to the road if you don't want to take the steps up. Location is good fab views from the hotel, roof top swimming pool is cold but so is the sea. Cannot fault this hotel.

We had a fantastic holiday at this hotel. We were staying here for 7 days. The food was very good, nothing repetitive and all food was very tasty. The hotel was clean and the employees were very helpful.
One tinny thing, but hey it's just my point of view...I couldn't have a proper coffee before breakfast, the restaurant and the bar were closed. Could make one instant in the room...but...

The hotel itself is nice, but matched with the view from the penelope pool is absolutely stunning. The food has its ups and downs but ultimately there will always be something decent to eat. The staff could not do more to help you, they are so lovely and helpful. All in all a very good experience 8/10

The reviews on here are very bad but do not let them put you off from staying here. I stayed a week here and 2 days before leaving i checked the reviews and honestly i was scared!
Rooms: The rooms are very basic and simple as shown in the pictures, but if you pay for sea front view it is honestly the best view ever and the balcony is a great spot to chill. The air con works but isn’t very powerful so the rooms did get very hot.
Pool: the pools are not heated however they aren't too cold and very easy to get into. Such a relaxing stay the pools are honestly amazing and have a great view (there is 2 pools)
Drinks: The fizzy drinks do taste very funny but if you get orange juice or an alcoholic drink they taste normal. There is a shop where you can buy drinks so it is not the end of the world
Beach: This is advertised as sea front, and most people have complained about the walk down to the beach. Yes there are 180 steps but it is not the end of the world and can easily be done if you are somewhat in shape. There is a tunnel from the hotel to the other side of the road that takes u to the stairs of the beach so you don’t have to cross a busy road
food: The food is lovely! Changes everyday but breakfast is the same thing everyday There are bars at the side of the pool that serve food (hot dogs and sandwiches) between meals and drinks.

we stayed for a week and experienced multiple problems. when we arrived we were asked to pay a government mandated fee of around 40€ for one rooms stay for a week. i do think it’s not entirely the hotels fault but it would be good if we were informed in advance not when checking in. there was a bad drainage smell coming from the bathroom and we have made reception aware and told it would be looked at but there were no changes. housekeeping was just moping everywhere with the dirtiest mop ever seen. in terms of entertainment, there wasn’t much to do around the hotel or happening within. we only had a DJ for 2 of the 7 nights which was not too bad. wifi is also costly, 7€ for 3 days for 1 device. additionally, there was one ironing room with 1 iron for 2 floors only! when checking out, we found the reception staff to be quite rude - we got a free lunch or drink voucher which we didn’t end up using and when asking if we could have a coffee we were asked to pay. pay almost 4€ for a tiny sip of coffee.
