I came with my husband and child for vacation. We enjoyed the sea view. The resort is clean and well maintained. The staff are helpful too. The food was excellent. The rooms are old the doors of the wooden cupboards were hard to open and close. No night robes and sandals provided in all inclusive package. The big set back is their photo shoot, in which they mention it is FREE totally FREE but actually it’s not free and overpriced. Very disappointing! So guys click your own picture and don’t waste your time getting fooled by them.

The Hotel is quite old but still has its Charme. The rooms and main areas (e.g. public toilets, Restaurant, Pool) were quite dirty. We even had bugs in our room and the room didn’t get clean regularly, so we had to do it ourselves (changing towels, searched for a broom to clean the floor and took out the trash). The food was very, very bad!!! It was often undercooked or it had too much oil in it. Because of the “live cooking stations” the restaurant was smelling very bad and it was always full of dark smoke. We both got some kind of stomach virus from the food, so you could tell that they also had a low standard of hygiene in the kitchen. After that we only dined outside the hotel in restaurants alongside the beach. Even the burgers from Burger King were by far better than the “food” in the Occidental Jandía Playa. Another negative thing is that although we booked all inclusive, we had to pay extra for many things like the Spa or pool towels. We would definitely NOT recommend this hotel!!! The only positive thing about this hotel are the cute cats.

Overall it was a great experience here. The hotel itself and it's garden is breathtaking, so is the view on the beach located around 5 minutes south of the building. The food was good - always fresh fruits and live cooking included. Two things were not as expected, once the drinks, we are huge cocktail fans and were sadly not able to find a good cocktail here, all of them come from a machine and are simply not drinkable. For the room we chose one with sea view (+~50€), the view was amazing, sadly the rooms were not. On our day of arrival we were told that we could enter it at 15:00, until 15:20 the room was not ready - a guy with a bucket of painting colour came out and told us that it would be ready. - He freshly painted the wall... A disgusting smell was in the room for the following 2 days. The bath was a bit dirty and we had no blankets provided. Overall I would come here again but definitely wouldn't choose all inclusive again since the drinks are not worth the price. TL;DR Good food, Bad cocktails, beautiful view and hotel, dirty room. Would come here again but not choose all inclusive. *The attached image is the view from the hotel.*

6-13.12.2024 Check-in was easy, they gave a ride at your block so you don't have to waste time walking, searching and dragging your luggage. Hotel area is huge (my opinion), environment nice with simple gardening, walk and pool areas. Room was basic, bit old but enough for sleeping. Shower was weak. Hose too short from faucet to switcher with tight angle affect waterpressure. Showerhead was broken/leaking. Breakfast and dinner buffet was very nice with great selection of food. Dessert table 5 stars 🤤🤤 From reception to the gate by the sea it's quite relief. Walkways and stairs are in pretty good condition but prepare to climb when going upwards. I think it was easy and short way to walk to the beach.

We spent a one week family vacation end of October at Occidental Jandia Playa and had booked Royal Level, Adults Only. We were greeted by the wonderful, super friendly and absolutely customer-oriented host Mariana who showed and explained everything to us, thank you again :-). The resort is quite large, but the Royal Level guests have separate areas, incl. rooms, terraces/decks, restaurant, pool. Food and service in our restaurant were exceptional! As the hotel is not a very new one, the rooms and the furniture, as well as outdoor areas show a bit of wear and tear already. However, this is compensated by the weather, the service, the great view and the proximity of the beach which is just down the hill across the road.
