Highly recommended.
It's a beautiful hotel. Located in a breathtaking setting. The pool is great. There are plenty of sunbeds by the pool, so it's easy to find free sunbeds during the day. The hotel is huge and has lots of nooks and corners where you can sit and relax. They have a spa, snacks bar, restaurants, gaming zones and live music nights, etc. Beach is about 5 mins walk from the hotel. Beach is endless, and it's stunning white sand beach. Being vegetarian, we were worried about the food on offer. But honestly, the food was good - quite a few options from vegan and vegetarians.
Cocktails are a bit average. The room we stayed in was with a sea view, view was amazing. Rooms are decent, nothing great. The hotel is not a very new one, so the rooms and the furniture show a bit of wear and tear already.
The staff was very nice and helpful.
Overall we would come here again. Our experience was definitely great.

I came with my husband and child for vacation. We enjoyed the sea view. The resort is clean and well maintained. The staff are helpful too. The food was excellent. The rooms are old the doors of the wooden cupboards were hard to open and close. No night robes and sandals provided in all inclusive package.
The big set back is their photo shoot, in which they mention it is FREE totally FREE but actually it’s not free and overpriced. Very disappointing! So guys click your own picture and don’t waste your time getting fooled by them.

I stayed in Block 9, close to the beach. It’s a bit far from the main building where the buffet is but being just a 7 min walk from the beach made up for it.
At night it can get a little noisy, but if you bring earplugs you’ll have no problem getting a good night’s sleep.
I was a bit disappointed to find out that the spa isn’t included, you have to book it separately. Would’ve been nice to know in advance.
The food was good, checkout is at 12 and the cleaning service was great.
Also, you can rent a bike for €5/hour and ride into town, which is nice since you get to cycle along the beach. Just keep in mind that the hill you so happily speed down you’ll have to climb it back up on your way back (:

I am currently staying in Block 9, one of the sea view double rooms, and I strongly advise against booking these.
Issues:
Unfortunately, the experience is in my personal opinion ruined by a newly opened bar (Hibar) directly below these rooms. Starting around 9 PM, the noise becomes overwhelming and continues until at least 11 -12 PM, making it impossible to sit on the balcony or relax. While the noise is inaudible with the door closed, the room gets pretty hot (27°C in the evening) because the air conditioning is not working. Opening the door is not an option due to the noise.
I requested a room change, and while the staff is very friendly, helpful and tried their best to help, no alternative sea view room was offered. This seems to be an issue with management rather than the staff’s willingness to assist.
Positives:
The hotel is beautiful, the food is surprisingly good, the staff are kind and attentive, and the overall standard of the rooms is decent. During the day, the sea view and peaceful setting are wonderful.
Conclusion:
While the hotel has many positive aspects, the current situation in Block 9 makes it impossible for me to recommend these rooms. For those who value quiet evenings or enjoy their balcony, I suggest avoiding sea view rooms here until the noise issue is addressed.

We spent a week at the Occidental Jandía Playa hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful, the rooms and the facilities were clean. The ocean beach is about a 10-15 minute walk away, where you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas from 10am to 5pm for 5 euro/each. The food was varied, vegetarian/vegan dishes were easy to find (special thanks for the plant milks at breakfast
