We stayed at this beach resort for one week at the beginning of December, hoping for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway before the holidays. The weather was consistently warm, which was perfect for spending time by the two pools and enjoying the tropical atmosphere created by the abundance of palm trees around the property. The setting itself was visually appealing, and the resort seemed well-maintained at first glance.
However, our experience was not without issues. Unfortunately, my husband and son came down with a stomach bug midway through our stay, which made things very unpleasant for the remainder of the trip. While we can’t pinpoint exactly what caused it, this unexpected health issue affected how much we could enjoy the resort’s amenities and activities.
The overall ambiance of the resort was a mix of positives and negatives. During the day, the setting was lovely, but in the evenings, it felt lifeless. Only the bar near the main restaurant was open, while the other half of the resort was left in darkness, which made it feel uninviting. That said, to compensate for the lack of outdoor vibrancy at night, the resort offered a variety of fun indoor activities such as Mini Disco, Flamenco show, Magic Show, Music Bands, etc. These were well-organized and provided a good alternative for guests looking to stay engaged in the evenings, even though they couldn’t fully make up for the dull atmosphere outside.
While there were some positive aspects, such as the warm December weather, the attractive pool areas, and the engaging indoor activities, the combination of health issues and the lack of lively outdoor spaces left us feeling underwhelmed. Overall, it was an okay experience, but there’s room for improvement, particularly in creating a more inviting and vibrant atmosphere across the entire resort.

Overall the hotel is beautiful and very reasonable price for an all-inclusive however they could up their standards of quality when it comes to the food same food almost every day that is very underrated. The alcohol is below average compared to the neighbouring hotels pool area is beautiful quite clean and tidy. Hotel location he’s a little bit far out from the towns.
But reasonable value for money

Sunbeds: this is a frustration every day, as sunbeds are reserved by people very early each day contrary to the hotel rules, and therefore it’s very difficult to get a sunbed. The hotel don’t enforce the ‘no reservation’ rules. People will reserve sunbeds all day yet only spend an hour using them. Each day, every single sunbed is taken, yet only 30% are actually being used - and it’s not accounted by folks in the pool. It’s a ludicrous situation. You won’t be surprised to hear it’s a 99% German patronage. We ended up just removing people’s towels and taking the sunbeds, and letting them try to argue for 2 minutes on their return hours later. #satisfaction
Food: the food is very poor quality, and not a great selection. All inclusive food generally is always hit and miss but unfortunately comparatively this hotel has below average food for an all inclusive, especially surprising given this isn’t a cheap option for a resort. We ate out 4 times in a 5 day trip and skipped meals 3 times.
Location: there is very little nearby to explore in terms of bars and restaurants. If you want to get outside the reality then I wouldn’t recommend.
Pool: the pool isn’t heated and is quite cold, however it is a very pleasant area to chill if you manage to get a sunbed.
ATM: 13% markup on conversions plus a fee per transaction is a joke. 1£ to 1€ conversion plus fees.
Staff: Great staff generally especially reception staff. A couple of grumpy unfriendly ones which lessens the experience. Guy with dreadlocks in the entertainment bar on Thursday was outright rude.
Guests: it’s a German resort so it’s not generally catered for English people - in fact a lot of staff don’t speak English so it’s worth knowing some Spanish. I found guests to be a mixed bag, just like anywhere, with some being friendly and others being inconsiderate.

The hotel is located in a quiet area. It was one of the best hotels I've stayed at for WIFI, accessible everywhere, even at the pools. The hotel is the self is starting to look old and rundown and could do with a refurb. The food was okay ! Not the best nor the worse. Most times, food was still warm, and they seemed to love their fish. The only negative thing would be that it's not very Baby friendly. I.E. there isn't an area for a toddler to run around without being on hard concrete flooring.

Great hotel! The staff was duper friendly and really helpful. They offered us booking an early breakfast as we were leaving at 8am and breakfast starts at 7:30. So we could eat at 6:30 no problem :)
The room we got was on top and we had a great sea view. Bathroom and room were big, so was the bed. Nice and comfortable. We don't watch tv but I saw the list at the table and there was a station in neatly every language! Also radio :)
We were lucky to have win a bingo and the price was the fancy beach/pool bed for the whole day. It came with a bottle of champagne and a fruit plater. The view from the bed was magical.
The other prices were SPA treatments so also very good :) play bingo when you're there! ;)
The pool was quiet and although there is loads of schezlongs, the area gives a vibe of a secluded place. There us a lot of plants, corners, the pool is kinda river shaped - very welcoming:)
Drinks were good, all day :)
Shame that people keep booking the schezlongs and then not using them for hours and hours..
I would definitely recommend 👌
