A Relaxing Winter Escape
We recently enjoyed a fantastic stay at R2 Pajara Beach Hotel, and it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff were brilliant—always friendly, attentive, and eager to make our stay special.
The food was another highlight, catering wonderfully for vegetarians with plenty of delicious options. Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The hotel provided a truly relaxing atmosphere for a winter break. The animation team was excellent, keeping us entertained without being intrusive—just the right balance!
The pool area is hands-down the best we've ever seen. Spacious, well-designed, and perfect for unwinding, it quickly became our favorite spot. The entire hotel, including the pool area, was spotlessly clean, with even the bins looking shiny and well-maintained!
Overall, it was a perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for relaxation, great food, and outstanding service!

We stayed at this beach resort for one week at the beginning of December, hoping for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway before the holidays. The weather was consistently warm, which was perfect for spending time by the two pools and enjoying the tropical atmosphere created by the abundance of palm trees around the property. The setting itself was visually appealing, and the resort seemed well-maintained at first glance.
However, our experience was not without issues. Unfortunately, my husband and son came down with a stomach bug midway through our stay, which made things very unpleasant for the remainder of the trip. While we can’t pinpoint exactly what caused it, this unexpected health issue affected how much we could enjoy the resort’s amenities and activities.
The overall ambiance of the resort was a mix of positives and negatives. During the day, the setting was lovely, but in the evenings, it felt lifeless. Only the bar near the main restaurant was open, while the other half of the resort was left in darkness, which made it feel uninviting. That said, to compensate for the lack of outdoor vibrancy at night, the resort offered a variety of fun indoor activities such as Mini Disco, Flamenco show, Magic Show, Music Bands, etc. These were well-organized and provided a good alternative for guests looking to stay engaged in the evenings, even though they couldn’t fully make up for the dull atmosphere outside.
While there were some positive aspects, such as the warm December weather, the attractive pool areas, and the engaging indoor activities, the combination of health issues and the lack of lively outdoor spaces left us feeling underwhelmed. Overall, it was an okay experience, but there’s room for improvement, particularly in creating a more inviting and vibrant atmosphere across the entire resort.

AVOID!!
It was the worst all-inclusive we ever had.
One week, eating leftovers, after two days, I started vomiting, couldn't eat anything, and felt sick for the next three days.
When I finally got better, my wife started feeling sick with diarrhoea and ended up vomiting throughout the last night of our stay.
I informed the hotel reception, which hadn't done anything about it, apart from sending us two extra water bottles to the room late when we were in bed already.
We have spoken to one lady, the director, who was only concerned if we knew about anyone else having the same problem.
I don't think I should go and ask the other guests if they were feeling sick or with diarrhoea.
The all-inclusive standards are very low.
The bar staff showed no patience to serve, dumping anything in our drinks, making the worst cocktails we have tried so far.

This hotel is amazing. Stayed for Christmas and newyears. Saw the year in Spain style with a mouthful of grapes and 1000 balloons to pop and superb singer as entertainment. Upgraded to the top room for free on arrival with beach and sunset view. Champagne by the bottle on arrival, coffee great. Food was incredible for an all inclusive. And great local restaurants for more options. Staff where lovely, pools incredible. Beaches brilliant. ( bar the nude people lol) Just can't recommend highly enough. 21 degrees in winter and no cloud the whole week. Will be visiting again for longer next time. Dolphin trip was brilliant! The only thing, and this is being really nit picky, the bath was not cleaned properly even on 5 visits from room service and there was no vegetables. Loads of fruit, crazy salads, fish, meat and variety galore, but no veg.

Nice hotel, beautifully located, overloking the ocean. Attentive staff, wide variety of foods with an all inclusive option. Swimming pools are well kept, one with warmish and one with cold water. The gym or fitness room if you like needs an overhaul. Two threadmills out of 3 or 4 were not operational when we were there, i.e. 23-30 december 2024. They were not cleaned regularly, the gym equipment wasn't in a good shape. I suggest that hotel management look into it. Not all all inclusive guests spend the whole day eating, drinking and sunbathing! The hotel surroundings are worth exploring for example 2 nice sandy beaches. The nearest bus stop is 20 min away on foot so take it account when planning trips to other places on the island.
