Where do I begin...This hotel is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed. It's very New York to try to cram as many rooms into this building as possible, each one the size of my walk in closet at home. The angles online make it appear larger but when I tell you these rooms are SMALL, they are SMALL. Which maybe would not have been so bad if the room was actually clean upon arrival. Dust and hair on the bed, hair in the shower, dirty carpet, broken mirror, busted door. I had no choice but to stay because I couldn't get a refund and had to be there for a training. But I paid almost $1000 for a two day stay at this motel disguised as luxury. The lobby is so misleading. I would have been better off at the Marriott. So not only did I pay $900 for the stay, $70 in taxes and fees...but then I was invoiced for "urban fees" which are hotels way of charging you for bullcrap that should be free because it's advertised as complimentary such as the gym that I did not use or the room service which did not clean. All totaling another almost $100 and not for incidentals...because the money was not returned. The ONLY saving grace for this hotel is the staff. They were extremely accommodating and kind, especially Amanda at the front desk and the young gentleman who checked me in at 3am. However I would rather run across hot coals with no shoes on than ever stay here again and pay this price for utter discomfort the entire stay. Oh, and don't hold your breath for a microwave, or complimentary coffee...which they have even at the La Quinta for crying out loud...for $500 a night, I can't get some darn coffee packets?

We had a quick 2 day stay for a mother/daughter girls trip. This hotel was fabulous. We did have to wait about 15 minutes past check in for our room, but it was super busy and the front desk was so polite and helpful, offering coffee/drinks and checking on us every 5 mins. The room we got was a high floor (14) corner, and the view was STUNNING. We had a perfect view of “the edge”. The room was very cute, modern bathroom, and super comfy bed. The water pressure was great and very hot water. We had two waters each day in our fridge, room was cleaned before we returned from our first outing on our second day. The location was walking distance from everywhere and a close subway. Would for sure stay again when we return. Perfect space for two.

Stayed here for four nights in a room with a terrace. The view from the room and terrace was amazing. The hotel was in decent condition and the staff were really nice. The shower worked well with a lot of pressure. The bed was just okay and any movement could be easily felt by the other person. Room service was really late in the day and they don't refill the coffee pods. Our bed sheet and pillow had stains on them. There was a gross wet spot on the carpet in our room and it wouldn't dry. The hotel is quite loud. Not just from the sirens and honking which I understand as it's new york, but from inside the hotel too. I could hear all the doors opening and closing and any conversations in the hall. There was a huge gap under the door and around the blinds for light to stream in and make the whole room bright. However the location is amazing, so many places to eat and a close walk to almost everything you could want to do in new york.

Room was clean and ready when we arrived. Started are trip to NYC without any issues. Bar and lobby were amazing. Staff were helpful and friendly. We had a great time in the Hotel over our 4 night stay. Would book hear again. Cool view for the roof bar, although that was closed for the season.

My bathroom toilet area wasn’t properly clean. I should not see 💩 stains in the toilet right after i check in my room. The water didn’t drain properly from the sink. It took good 5 minutes after i washed my hands. The door from shower doesn’t close properly, all the water when taking shower runs into bathroom area. The bathroom floor becomes very messy after 15 minutes of shower. The towels left were almost about to rip. The same goes to bed sheets. I didn’t even have laundry bag in my room. The room smelled a bit weird. You can’t check in before 3 pm, some hotels will let you do that as curtesy if u arrive couple hours early. Now they don’t have to do that but flagging it, they will ask to pay extra to check in before 3 pm. For what i paid the room was tiny and felt a little claustrophobic. The bed was literally squeezed into wall. I took umbrella from the room and forgot it in the reception area of the same hotel. But they didn’t even try to find it. They charged for it too. Apparently it’s strict rule , you must leave umbrella inside the room. In short they will look for every opportunity to milk u. I stayed in other hotels located in similar area. I can say this hotel isn’t cheap comparing to other hotels. I was let down by online reviews and booked here. Leaving this review here so u could think twice before u book.
