My daughter and I stayed here 5 nights from the UK. We loved the hotel, the cleanliness was excellent, the bed was extremely comfortable, and replenished towels and water daily. The location is amazing.
Views from our suite were absolutely stunning.
I can not believe some of the reviews for this hotel, totally unjust, in my opinion. It is amazing.
All elevators worked, and there weren't any issues with anything.
Thank you, Millennium, for making our bucket list trip even better than expected.

I stayed here from 12/14-12/17. Initially upon arrival, we noticed the room was completely out of body wash. After asking 3 times, we finally received some from hotel staff of the evening of 12/15. We could’ve just brought our own but we were not expecting to need to.
Hot, the rooms are extremely hot and the hotel down not have any central air conditioning in the rooms this time of year.
This is far from a luxury hotel, do not recommend.

I stayed in the hotel from 11/14/24 - 11/16/24 for your reference. I’ve been to many different hotels around the world and thus far this was the worst.
1. Out of the 4 elevators, only 1 was working.
2. As soon as we walked into the room, it smelled like smoke even though it was non-smoking room.
3. When we turned on the hot water, the water was brown. We had to call the maintenance and when they came, they told us to keep the water running until the rusty water comes down, and that the water will be “clean”.
4. The room was SO cold. I kept increasing Room temperature using the controller but it didn’t make the room warmer, the temperature keeps going back to the original. Think they might control from the main? But it was too cold.
5. The floor above us was keep on making cart drilling noises. It was continuously happening night and day, even after 12am. Had to complain for this too but didn’t get better. It wasn’t the noise from neighbors, it was definitely from the hotel workers. I took videos of the noises but doesn’t show as clear due to background noises…
6. There’s no plug by the bed. I’m a consultant and I traveled for business countless times and been to so many different hotels. Never had a hotel without a plug by the bed.
7. Soundproof is the worst. You can literally hear word by word from other rooms. If next door flushes, it sounds like your bathroom is flushing

It’s fine. Seems like you’re mainly paying for the location. It’s right beside Fulton center subway, World Trade Center obviously, and in my controversial opinion, downtown Manhattan is the best part of Manhattan.
There’s no hotel bar or anything at the moment, just a coffee shop in the lobby with some seating.

When I checked out, they only emailed the receipt. Don't do that. Have them print it out for you so that you can resolve any billing issues face to face right then. They tacked on an "Optional Donation" to the "Highgate Charitable Foundation" that I never agreed to and have never heard of. I called them three times to have it removed and they never did. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get the money refunded. Otherwise, the location is great with fantastic views. The room was a little dated, but clean. The wait time to check-in was an astounding 30 minutes.
