Great location! We will be getting married here and came for a test drive of the wedding. The resort was great and the employees were all very nice and accommodating. We had booked a swim up lagoon which came with room service. We took the 1 hr 40 min shuttle from the airport but it was not too bad. Very winding, but beautiful route along the island. The resort was relaxing and beautiful. We are excited to come back

We stayed here for our honeymoon. A worker broke into our room and stole initially $20 which we thought maybe we just used to tip for drinks or something so we didn’t say anything. The next day, they stole just under $1000 cash (our remaining cash in the room) that we planned to use for excursions, souvenirs for family, and any other out of pocket expenses.
We immediately informed management and they did call the police, but the hotel seemed like they couldn’t be bothered and that they weren’t responsible. The police told us they would keep us updated on the case (they obviously didn’t and the management acted like it was somehow our fault). I’m sure this is a very small situation in the grand scheme of things, but still, the manager was extremely rude and argumentative and literally did nothing to help us feel more safe or give anything to help improve the experience. No apologies or reassurances. I wasn’t really expected much, but a change of room or an upgrade maybe? Instead, they covered the car service to head back to the airport…a $75 cost. It was hands down the worst experience I’ve had with a manager and on our honeymoon no less.
Being in the wedding industry myself and hearing all the great things about St. Lucia, I was honestly surprised by the lack of customer service or transparency. It honestly seemed like this was an extremely common occurrence and they were just protecting their own. I didn’t even want to get the worker in trouble because I’m sure there’s a high chance that they were in desperate need of the money, but for management to do nothing to salvage the situation? It was a big disappointment. Will never go back to this resort or its affiliates.

Disappointing Experience - Not Recommended
We had high expectations for this hotel, but unfortunately, our stay was a complete disappointment. The issues started right upon arrival when our booking, despite being confirmed, was not registered. Fortunately (or in the end unfortunately), a room was still available. However, the disappointment continued seamlessly on-site:
- The "Ocean View" room offered a view of a parking lot, fence, road, trees, and then a small glimpse of the ocean in the distance.
- The glasses in the restaurants and bars were often dirty. It seems like they are only thoroughly cleaned with hot water once a day and otherwise just quickly rinsed and reused – absolutely unhygienic!
- There was no room service included for our booking category (1,000 USD per night!) – even during illness, it was refused. I had to go to the restaurant with a fever and a cough, which is highly irresponsible toward other guests.
- Some staff members were unfriendly: instead of pouring water politely, I was told, "Give me your glass!" – unacceptable behavior for a resort in this price category.
- Room cleaning was below average. The furniture and facilities were outdated and shabby. Shockingly, the bed linens were never changed during our 10-night stay.
- At the beach, you had to reserve sunbeds as early as 7:00 AM to secure a spot in the shade. Hotel butlers would reserve sunbeds at 7:00 AM for their guests. This practice is inappropriate and reflects poor management.
- It was very annoying to be constantly approached at the beach by external vendors and hotel staff trying to sell something. One morning, I was asked three times if I wanted a massage – it's simply irritating! A little more discretion would be appreciated.
- The only positives were the beach, which is truly beautiful, and the sushi restaurant "Soy," which we highly recommend. Unfortunately, even these highlights do not justify staying at this resort.
Particularly off-putting are the AI-generated responses to negative reviews. They come across as ridiculous and fail to address any of the critical points raised.
We travel extensively and have had many amazing experiences for far less money. This resort was our first and last Sandals experience, as well as our last visit to St. Lucia. There are so many better options – choose another destination and stay at a decent resort!

first i want to say how beautiful the resort and location were! the staff and everyone were so accommodating. the resort is very clean, my room was constantly cleaned. me and my husband got married here and it was the best place and resort to do it! it’s was just us two! the wedding team was absolutely phenomenal! my day was so wonderful! thank you for making my day so perfect and special!
another great thing i loved was they are very accommodating if you have any food allergies! they made me a gluten free pizza it was so delicious! overall the food and service were 10/10
the only thing i have to say is the rooms need to be a little more modernized but otherwise 10/10 overall! and will definitely come back!! thank you again!!

I celebrated my 70th orbit around the sun with family & friends! It was absolutely an amazing time had by all! Had a private cocktail hour & private dinner for my guests! The entire staff was outstanding, warm & so friendly! I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to have a great time celebrating any occasion. This is definitely the place!
