first i want to say how beautiful the resort and location were! the staff and everyone were so accommodating. the resort is very clean, my room was constantly cleaned. me and my husband got married here and it was the best place and resort to do it! it’s was just us two! the wedding team was absolutely phenomenal! my day was so wonderful! thank you for making my day so perfect and special!
another great thing i loved was they are very accommodating if you have any food allergies! they made me a gluten free pizza it was so delicious! overall the food and service were 10/10
the only thing i have to say is the rooms need to be a little more modernized but otherwise 10/10 overall! and will definitely come back!! thank you again!!

This was our first Sandals stay and it won't be our last. A gorgeous setting, beautifully manicured gardens, friendly staff, and lots to do nearby. Swimming was great thanks to a gradual beach and no significant undertow. Glad we stayed in a room with a garden view as we could watch the surf on the Atlantic from our balcony and were away from noise near the main pool. Musicians were very talented and we enjoyed the dancers. So much to do. Golf course exceeded our expectations. I got my phone wet when I was sprayed by a wave at the Atlantic side so I asked for a plastic bag and some rice from a female staff member at the Italian restaurant. She brought me a box and 2 bowls of rice to dry it out - more than I expected! Staff were great. It was fun to be around so many happy young honeymoon couples too.

We had a wonderful vacation at the Sandals Grande St Lucian. The staff at the resort is what made the experience perfect - everyone we interacted with was friendly & focused on providing top notch service. Our butler team (Clines, Mel, and Giselle) was phenomenal. Dive shop team was professional & went out of their way to help us (Kearney, Pamela, Ron & Marcus - the dives were great!). The rest of the experience (room, food, beach, pools, etc) was perfect. Overall one of the best Sandals properties we've been to. Definitely going to revisit Sandals Grande St Lucia again!

Came for my honeymoon and was excited to splurge and have a relaxing and pampered time. Positives include the amenities and gorgeous location. The scuba diving and other water sports were great. Spa was nice.
Cons... the food was so extremely hit and miss. I had food that was really rough and then meals that were delicious. There seems to be no quality control.
The other big issue we experienced was service. Service was the slowest I've ever experienced. It was the part I was looking forward to the most and biggest disappointment. We would often wait 30-40 minutes between courses and the bar would take 5-10 minutes to make really weak drinks. More than once there were only a couple of tables at the restaurant with us yet we'd sit there with empty drink glasses waiting on the next course with the staff just chatting elsewhere for 20+ minutes. The bar tenders and servers didn't seem to want to be there.
I was really hoping to be wined and dined (especially for the price tag we paid) and instead I felt like a burden to the staff. I'll think twice before returning to a Sandal's resort.

Don’t stay here..If you have expectations of any level of service then this is not the place for you. Breakfast at the Italian restaurant took over an hour to get bacon and eggs, at Mariners for dinner empty drinks and items never making it to our table. Jerk Shack for lunch was more of the same. No waters, never knew who was waiting on us, half our orders never made it, no one coming to refill the waters we eventually had to get ourselves. Tried the breakfast buffet to avoid the long wait at the other restaurant and found eggs, bacon, sausage out. Had to flag someone down for that. There is no level of service at the restaurants. It’s just someone who appears to grudgingly take your order. Once your food arrives you’ll never see them again. If you do it’s because you had to stand up and go find someone. No one wants to be there. Something is in the vodka.. and it’s not alcohol. Drank 6 Tito’s and tonics in a couple of hours and not the slightest effect. I’ll leave it there. It’s not decernable who is in charge, who is apart of the wait staff, or if any level of management on the property exists. So if you’re a first time traveler, young newlywed, or just don’t know any better, then the beautiful views the property provides will get to you ignore the lack of any level of acceptable service which I must assume explains the good reviews. This place has an issue that management needs to solve which won’t happen. Too many people are not providing real feedback. I watch a lot of people with disappoint and frustration on their face that will not leave feedback. Save your money and run away from considering a stay here. Definitely would not stay here again. *awaits incoming canned response written by AI, thanking me for the feedback, apologizing and asking me to reach out to some email.
