We loved our week at Sandals Grande! The staff was so friendly and courteous! Everyone we passed, no matter their role, said hello and asked how our day was going. The calm bay surrounded by mountains was very picturesque. We stayed in one of the swim up rooms, though we ended up not using that pool as much as we thought we would because we opted to spend so much time at the beach. Our favorite restaurants were Barefoot By the Sea (shout out to Amanda and Brittany for their awesome service) and Gordon’s. Like most Sandals, there’s a bit of a fight for the beach chairs in the shade, but we never had a problem getting a chair that we could relocate to a shady spot if needed. We opted to sit further away from the main bars, but there were plenty of beach attendants asking if we needed anything from the bar. It was the most relaxing vacation and we can’t wait to come back!

The location was excellent and beautiful but the resort is tired and in need of an update. On the surface everything seems exceptional but when you look closer you see the issues. For example, the carpeting leading to the room was worn, the edge of a nightstand was glued back together, except for the buffet, restaurant hours are limited and reservations were needed and we watched them turn away many even though tables remained empty. Just not what I expected for my first trip to a sandals resort and the amount we paid.

first i want to say how beautiful the resort and location were! the staff and everyone were so accommodating. the resort is very clean, my room was constantly cleaned. me and my husband got married here and it was the best place and resort to do it! it’s was just us two! the wedding team was absolutely phenomenal! my day was so wonderful! thank you for making my day so perfect and special!
another great thing i loved was they are very accommodating if you have any food allergies! they made me a gluten free pizza it was so delicious! overall the food and service were 10/10
the only thing i have to say is the rooms need to be a little more modernized but otherwise 10/10 overall! and will definitely come back!! thank you again!!

I recently spent a day pass at Sandals Grande to celebrate my cousin's birthday, and the staff truly made the experience extraordinary!
First, a huge thank you to Daisy, whose kindness and attention to detail set the tone for a wonderful day. She was so helpful and ensured we felt welcomed and taken care of from start to finish.
At the beach bar, Randy stood out with his vibrant personality and incredible drink-making skills. He kept the energy lively and made sure our glasses were always full with delicious cocktails.
Over at Toscanini and the Jerk Shack, Alana provided outstanding service. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure every bite we had was unforgettable.
Jenna at The Mariner was equally impressive. Her friendly demeanor and excellent service made our meal all the more enjoyable.
Finally, I can’t forget Nicholas from the photography team. His talent and creativity shone through as he captured beautiful moments of our celebration. He ensured we had memories to cherish long after our visit.
The service from these individuals was absolutely phenomenal and made my cousin’s birthday celebration so special. Sandals Grande is lucky to have such dedicated and exceptional staff. I can’t wait to return!

Be prepared to get up at the crack of dawn if you want any hopes of getting a chair at the pool or beach or even a towel..
Food was average, and small portions
Drinks took forever to get if you were at the main pool.
Beach was great water warm.
Some staff were exceptional others would not give you the time of day.
Housekeeping staff great.
This is my sixth sandals, and I rank this one about 4 out of 6, Antigua, grenada, and curacao better.
Overall, Sandals' quality seems to be slipping, and I think this will be my last visit.
Unless you are butler level, there are no perks, and I believe you can get better all-inclusive value elsewhere.
