Booked for a last minute 4 night trip and it was amazing! Staff were friendly upon arrival, even having a plate of food waiting as I missed the dinner service. Room was great and lateral sea view was amazing to have. Great variety of food on half board! As a solo traveler, dinner times you do sit with other solo travellers which was a great experience! Felt very welcomed and looked after by all the staff, extremely friendly and helping. Would definitely go back again!

Basic hotel in Costa Calma. Pool is small but not a lot of people use it. Very close to the beach. Breakfast is the same offerings everyday. Dinner changes but it’s not great quality or appealing. Had a cockroach running around on the floor near the food on the second last night there. Beer is over priced. Staff are nice but they push drinks with dinner to make money. Rooms have seen better days.

Good adults only hotel (no children). Very german-focused, to the point that some of the reception staff did not speak Spanish, and had to make do in English. The food is fairly good, and the interesting thing is that you can book theme dinners (Asian, Mediterranean and Tapas) in other hotels of the same brand nearby. You need to book very early, advisable to do so when you check in. The rooms are correct, clean and well stocked. It has acces to the nearby beach by lift (the hotel access is at the top of some sort of cliff). Drinks in restaurant are fairly steep though (they were cheaper in other hotel of the same chain we visited)

Solo travellers automatically put down to share a table for breakfast and dinner. A simple yes or no question at check in around sharing would solve a lot of embarrassment especially for solo female travellers. I didnt feel comfortable sharing and only found out when going to my assigned table to find someone else there. No one told me this on check in. Please don't assume lone females can just be slotted in anywhere. Made me feel unwelcome.

I left after one night, although booked for five days with meals and breakfast included. This is a tourist bunker, monumental but out of age. Odd architecture with long hallways with brownish low shimmering lights. The interiors, especially the wooden birch combination is perfect in it‘s own way. When You enter the hotel, turn Your eyes left to see pictures of the management in charge of this operation. In the room KPI‘s of the cleaning maidens are volunteered for review. Well, it is clean as it can be for it‘s own age, and the customer‘s culminated age. This is perfect for the oldest german audience, that like to be adressed in german. I met only downwards looking, poorly dressed hotel guests, a geriatric soulless army, and that, in combination with the overall operation, seemed to have shattered the spirits of the spanish host work force.
