Do not come here if you are a solo traveller, if you are not German, if you don’t eat meat, if you value comfort, if you like to get value-for-money… I checked in and was told I had to eat dinner at 5.30 every day and that I had to share a table for three with a couple of strangers every meal ‘because it’s easier for us to clean one table than two’ I requested to change to the later sitting of 7.30pm and Reception told me to go to the restaurant, the staff in the restaurant told me to go to reception, I went back to reception and Berenice was super rude and just told me there was nothing she could do. I eventually managed to change to sitting on my own and eating later but it took me hours to resolve. The rooms are not very clean, it is true that if you wish to use the kettle in the room you are charged per tea bag / coffee sachet. There is a charge to use EVERYTHING. They asked me if I wanted to hire a towel to use at the beach, the safe costs money, the staff try to push you to buy drinks, an aggressive man chased me down the beach when I sat down because I was apparently sat in ‘his zone’ and he had a book of tickets for €15 to sit on the beach (a scam but a scary one for a woman alone) The food was terrible for vegetarians- boiled vegetables and bread. All the other guests are elderly Germans to the point that even the staff spoke to me in German. Maybe if you are an older German person you will have a good time because I saw the staff being polite and nice to them but to me they were rude and unhelpful. It seems the staff are very fed up and burnt out and they all seemed miserable all the time.

Really not what they claim to be, paying too much for a 2 stars hotel in my opinion, drinks are not for free even on lunch or dinner time, and too expensive. The food quality is ok. The room service is a joke, bed sheet don't get changed, they put a bottle of water and some coffee pads and tee bags inside the room with a overpriced price list, that's greedy. The safe costs 4.5€ PER DAY!!!!! Sauna!! Broken Jacuzzi!! Broken Gym!! A joke To use what they offer for entertainment you will be paying, like for example tennis you need to pay 16€ an hour, even for the use of balls and rackets one should pay 8€. The area there is quite, more dead, good for peace and quite seekers, for me nothing going on. I don't recommend it for the prices they ask.

This hotel looks nothing like the pictures. Everything is very old.. AC does not work. Buffet have very few options.. only half of the items have labels and no allergy info. Also this mean to be sea view, but you not getting any view or privacy on the ground floor. Lift goes from 2-5th floor only. We been trying to get another room at least,with working AC but no luck. Reception is just rude and unhelpful.

We had a good stay in February. Main issue was dietary limitations with regard to allergies. Unfortunately having left an item behind we contacted sbh for advice. Immediate response was negative and then 2 weeks of not being able to get through on the phone followed.

I have absolutely no words to describe the wonderful experience I had at SBH crystal in Fuerteventura! From the moment I arrived, the sweet and caring Jorje director of reception took his time to explain to me everything about the hotel. Katia at reception was lovely as well, always smiling and ready to help. They were genuinely the nicest people! The room was spacious, extremely clean after daily beach and sand trips, and very comfortable. The hotel is literally 2 minutes walk to the beach (it even has its own sun lounges in the sand). The breakfast was very tasteful with lots of choices and again, smiling employees. SBH Crystal made my stay in fuerteventura unforgettable and I am definitely coming back again!
