We are giving the maximum number of stars because this hotel delivers exactly what you expect from a high-end 5-star property—and in several areas, it even exceeded our expectations. We stayed here for several days before and after a trip to Oman. During our first stay, most guests were tourists, while during the second, it was mainly business travelers attending a conference. However, we barely noticed any difference. The staff was always courteous, very friendly, and made us feel recognized and well taken care of. The hotel is modern and well-located, just a five-minute walk from the metro. Our room (1803) was beautifully designed and offered a stunning view of the downtown Dubai skyline. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality options. The attentive staff fulfilled our special requests flawlessly and always with a smile—it was a pleasure to start the day there. We also highly recommend the Executive Floor on the 51st level. The evening happy hour, featuring fantastic cocktails, delicious bites from the hotel’s various restaurants, and outstanding service, was a daily highlight after a long day in the city. The pool area is spacious, perfect for swimming, and the staff there is equally attentive and welcoming. Final Verdict: We felt completely at home, and Sofitel The Obelisk has set a new benchmark for us. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk hotel, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The service was exceptional, with every staff member going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The hotel was spotless, and the attention to cleanliness was impressive. The view from my room was breathtaking, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was the swimming pool service, which was outstanding. A huge thanks to Farhan, Faisal, and Mano for their excellent hospitality—they were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. The room is fantastic, sitting high on the 46th floor with a stunning panoramic view of the city. Whether day or night, the sights are absolutely breathtaking. My husband and I also had an amazing massage at the spa—deeply relaxing and just what we needed. With soothing music and expert hands working away all the tension, it was the perfect way to unwind.

This hotel is impressive. The service was amazing. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The valet service is top notch! I recommend to get the half-board reservation if available. The breakfast is a buffet with everything you would need, including vegetarian options. For dinner you can choose between three restaurants: Japanese, French and British. Between the three I mostly enjoyed the French Brasserie. The hotel is located close to the airport which is a great plus, but a little farther from downtown. Dubai is not a walkable city so you would need to take a taxi or the train. The train option is not very good as you would need to exchange trains. All in all I think it was a good value for the money.
