We stayed at this hotel for a week and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel boasts multiple swimming pools with clean water, perfect for either sunbathing or taking a refreshing dip. There’s a bar by the main pool offering a variety of drinks with friendly staff, though the quality of the cocktails was quite average, and it’s worth noting that there is no beer on tap.
The rooms were decent and worth the price, though it’s important not to expect five-star luxury. The hotel has two restaurants: the breakfast buffet was good, but the food at the main restaurant was just average. However, the other restaurant offered a higher quality of food.
A convenient feature is the supermarket and three restaurants located right across from the hotel. We particularly enjoyed the Sugar Cane restaurant – the food quality and overall experience were excellent.
The hotel staff were very polite and friendly, and there’s a lovely massage area right by the beach. Speaking of the beach, guests have access to it, and it was truly beautiful. The kids’ club, while equipped with good facilities, had somewhat limited programmes.
Overall, we felt that the service was worth the money we paid, though the hotel could reach its full potential with a bit more investment in its facilities and a few improvements in management.

Perfect location, the most beautiful beach only steps away from the resort. Friendly staff. Complimentary upgrade of room to Royal Lounge terrace, this room was ideal. We had the most wonderful few days. Will definitely return

In July, I visited the reception to inquire about a tour of the rooms and property. My parents had asked me to assess the rooms and general upkeep. I understand that, out of respect for other guests, direct access may be restricted. However, I was also declined any type of room or facility tour. The staff’s response was surprisingly curt, emphasizing that, as a non-guest, I was not welcome to view any part of the hotel beyond the reception.
In contrast, other hotels were more accommodating, even offering building plans and recent photos when a full tour wasn’t possible, ensuring I had enough information to make an informed decision for my parents’ stay.
Ultimately, I chose a different hotel, confident that they’ll receive excellent service and quality, as I was able to fully explore the options.
Being denied any opportunity to see the premises, even with staff guidance, felt overly restrictive and unwelcoming.

We stayed 5 nights with family and grand children, the rooms are bit dated but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good hotel restaurant needs to review their menu very limited on what you can order the food was so so had spaghetti with pesto it was very dry and garlic was over powering.Pool area is very nice well maintained, good for the kids the resort is close to the beach which is good but outside, the restaurants and shops are very limited need to catch a taxi if you want restaurants and shops.Check in was smooth and easy staff friendly and helpful,kids club ok limited activities.
All up we enjoyed ourselves i don't think we will be back the resort is too isolated and the resort restaurants need to be better

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This hotel was amazing and perfect for our family holiday. We stayed in the happy baby room, which meant we could travel without all the extra items (stroller, etc). Our room was very well equipped, very clean, and had a great location within the resort to help us with our baby. Staff here were fantastic, special shout out to Marley in the kids club - absolute gem of a human. And Marcus, the manager, was so welcoming and friendly every time we saw him, but really, the whole team was too! The pool guys, the restaurant and bar staff, are all just fabulous. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Resort location is optimal too if you want to go to beach clubs or restaurants, just walk out onto the beach which is right there! Thank you, everyone, at Sunwing for making our trip so special!
