    • Bamboo Restaurant: This intimate alfresco restaurant overlooks the Main Pool and offers all-day dining. The restaurant specializes in organic and healthy cuisine, using locally sourced organic and raw foods. The menu features nutritious and flavorful dishes from Indonesia, Southeast Asia, and the West.
    • Balinese Cooking Class: The Amala offers Balinese cooking classes conducted by their excellent chefs. The morning class is held at 11:00, and the afternoon class is held at 16:00. Participants will learn about the ingredients, equipment, and techniques used in Balinese cuisine. At the end of the class, guests receive a certificate from the chefs and get to keep an Amala cooking apron as a memento.
    • Heliconia Private Dining: Guests can enjoy delicious meals from the Bamboo Restaurant in a private dining bale suitable for up to 8 guests. There is also a separate al-fresco dining pavilion adjacent to the Bamboo Restaurant that is ideal for pre-arranged private dining experiences.
    • In-Villa Dining: The Amala offers in-villa dining, allowing guests to enjoy traditional Balinese lunches in the serenity of their villas. The in-villa dining menu showcases regional dishes with cross-cultural flavors, providing guests with a culinary journey.
    • Private Chef: For guests staying at The Amala Estate, there is a concept of in-villa dining with a team of private chefs. The chefs prepare a wide range of gourmet meals, including Indonesian, Southeast Asian, and Western cuisines. They can accommodate dietary requirements and focus on producing healthy, low-calorie meals. Organic produce is used whenever possible. Additionally, guests who prefer dining out have the option to explore nearby restaurants, including the Bamboo Restaurant at The Amala resort, which is located next door.

    We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay at in Bali than The Amala. We truly enjoyed our one week stay in our private pool villa. It was the epitome of luxury, comfort and relaxation. All of the staff were so accommodating, respectful, helpful and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. The food and cocktails were divine and the yoga/massages that were offered through the Tula Wellness centre were really relaxing. We will definitely be back!!

    Great time at the Amala. The villa is beautiful, there was a private pool with jets, a sauna and bath tub. The shower was in the same place as the sauna, which was outside, and it wasn't very convenient, also I am not sure if the light was really weak or if a couple of them weren't working. Next to the shower and in front of the pool, there is an area with sink and a big mirror where they provide towels and amenities, including the hair dryer, however, there are no outlets there, we had to to take it inside. The whole place has a very zen, tranquil vibe, which was really relaxing. The breakfast was the best part of our stay in my opinion. It was absolutely delicious, with many great options. I will remember the smoothie bowls forever haha. The location was very convenient, quiet, away from heavy traffic, but still walking distance from restaurants, 24 hours convenient stores, shops etc. But they also provided a car to take us around anywhere in Seminyak.

    The Amala is a place, I will cherish for a long time. The staff are incredible with a warmth and kindness, unparalleled. I tried to take as many names as possible but thanks to Ayu, Ari, Synthia, Eka, Manik, Dewa, the spa team and everyone else in this hotel. Leaving the staff is like leaving family. That is the highest compliment I can pay. The food was amazing. The villa we had was spectacular. It was indoor, outdoor living which if you like that type of thing, is a dream. The only issue I had was my eternal war with mosquitos, so bring repellent. The hotel did spray the grounds and villa to keep them away. The only issue I had was the absurdly loud family in the neighbouring villa. If they are going to book a spa villa, (where the hotel's motto is peace and harmony) then they should manage their family's behaviour. Out of respect to the other guests and the hotel. We had to call the hotel three times and the family would apologise but then repeat the same rude behaviours. We drew the line when they pulled out a loud speaker (which may come with the villa). Not the best idea for outdoor living. I'm not blaming the hotel for any of this but I would make guests aware that they are sharing Spa hotel, with other people. Overall one of my favourite hotels. The grounds, the food, the staff and villa were world class. Thank you Amala!

    Our stay at Amla Boutique in Seminyak was truly wonderful! The rooms were beautiful, clean, and very comfortable — they were cleaned and refreshed daily, which made our stay even more relaxing. The breakfast every morning was delicious with a good variety to choose from. During our stay, my brother unfortunately fell sick, but the staff were incredibly supportive — they extended our stay for an extra day without any hassle and even arranged for a doctor to visit, which we were extremely grateful for. The service throughout our time there was top-notch; everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. The location was also perfect — close to great spots in Seminyak but still peaceful and relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Amla Boutique to anyone visiting Bali!

    The Amala The welcome drink we received at check-in was delicious—you can even order it again during breakfast. The front desk staff were friendly and incredibly patient. When pre-ordering breakfast, they provided a Chinese menu for reference, and there was also a daily special egg dish to choose from. During our stay, we always ordered their daily dishes, and they were all tasty. As for the bread, the muffins and toast were fairly standard, but the yogurt bowls were excellent—especially the fruit yogurt bowl and the energy smoothie bowl. The drink selection was also very diverse and customizable, which made it easy to find something satisfying even for picky or indecisive guests. When entering the room, they would light mosquito coils right away. The room was clean, well-kept, and they had the air conditioning running before we arrived. They even prepared a small birthday surprise—it was such a lovely touch! The “cake towel” was especially impressive! We stayed in a two-bedroom suite—one of the rooms had a bathtub, complete with herbal bath packs, which made for a very relaxing experience. Paired with the sound of leaves rustling and the breeze outside, it created such a soothing, natural vibe. We were originally hoping for a semi-outdoor shower—and they really had one! What a surprise! They also provided a branded canvas tote bag that we could use. When we came back to the room, the staff had drawn the curtains, lit another mosquito coil, and even cleared fallen leaves—always keeping the room fresh and clean. The mini fridge had soda water and coconut water, but no food items. The toiletries were all from a local Balinese brand, including the soap. Everything felt high quality and had a pleasant scent. During the stay, we were able to book transport to Seminyak’s city center. The car was clean and odor-free. They have three vehicles available, so booking is usually successful. The hotel staff were quick and responsive. We also sent some laundry, which came back folded neatly, smelled great, and was returned quickly—plus the price was very reasonable. The floating breakfast was delivered right on time and looked amazing with the room’s scenery. Highly recommend adding this—it came decorated with beautiful flowers and had great aesthetic appeal. Lastly, they provided airport drop-off service, and even helped estimate the best departure time so we could shop at our preferred stores at the airport. Overall, nearly a perfect experience! I really hope to stay here again next time. Thank you to all the wonderful staff—you were amazing!
