My fiancé and I just spent the most relaxing 5 nights at sakala on a babymoon, as our last little trip away before baby comes. We stayed in the pool access suite, the room was lovely and spaciaous and very clean, the food was great everytime we ate either at the resort or the beach club. The location is nice and quiet but we were still able to travel for day trips to Ubud and kuta easily. BUT! the thing that makes the sakala so special is the staff. I cannot express in words just how amazing they are. Of a morning we would be greated at the buffet by Tiur's beautiful smile and she was always so kind and happy to see us, she really went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome. On our last day she wrote me a card wishing us good luck with baby and gave me a beautiful little dream catcher to stop her from having nightmares when she arrives. This was so sweet of her, im so greatful that I cried when saying goodbye. Koming every morning at the buffet made the most amazing eggs, she was funny and caring and made us feel like her family. she told us about her children and was genuinely excited for us about our upcoming baby. On our last day she gave me a hug and wished me luck with baby. She was always smiling and warm like a caring aunty and she has a beautiful heart. There were many other staff members we really enjoyed meeting. Everyone was wonderful and accommodating but its because of Koming and Tiur that we will be back when our daughter arrives. We will genuinely miss them and the lovely people at sakala until then x x thank you so much for the amazing babymoon!!❤️

I am beyond disappointed with my recent stay. For a villa priced at 550 SGD per night, the experience was completely unacceptable. The Property: The entire place is in desperate need of renovation. There is significant wear and tear throughout, specifically the wooden flooring which has lost its polish and looks neglected. For this price, not even having a Smart TV is a major oversight. It feels like the property has been frozen in time while the prices continue to rise. The Villa Pool: The private pool was the biggest letdown. The water quality was poor, and I found small paper fragments floating in it, giving the distinct impression that it hasn't been properly cleaned in a long time. It was honestly quite off-putting. The Staff & Service: The hospitality training here is severely lacking. The staff made us feel like we were staying for free rather than as paying guests. To make matters worse, they arrived for checkout while we were still inside the villa and forced us to rush out at exactly 12:00 PM sharp. There was zero flexibility or professional courtesy. Final Verdict: This property is not worth the money. You are paying luxury prices for a budget-level experience and an aging facility. Please stay away and find somewhere else that actually values its guests and maintains its grounds.

I would like to say a lot of things about this place because my experience was extremely good in this hotel . I travel mostly for work , and for me after getting tired I just need a good place to relax to chill . This Resort has all of this. The atmosphere the ambient the staff the reception the people and The Guest Experience Manager who remembers always my name that makes me feel even better. The rooms are really clean and tide, plus whenever you need an assistance they are always there to help . The restaurant and the food is amazing , the breakfast is heaven I could not stop eating at breakfast because the food was so yummy. The beach club in front is giving you vibe and this is what l like a quite vibe for relax .

My family of 6 stayed for 6 nights. Amazing service, always friendly staff and willing to assist in all needs. Very clean resort, rooms and facilities. Also the food was delicious. Will definitely come back. We had sister Wede , our assistant who contacted us daily for any needs we had. She was so warm and helpful. Will definitely come back here..also great place for kids, very safe and fun

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sakala Resort, Bali, and it truly exceeded our expectations. We were traveling as an Indian family along with our sister’s family, and the resort was perfect for a relaxed yet memorable vacation. The villas were spacious, very well maintained, and offered great privacy—ideal for families. The ambiance of the resort is peaceful, beautifully designed, and surrounded by nature, which made our stay extremely refreshing. A special mention to Andrew, the Villa Manager, who was outstanding throughout our stay. He was extremely courteous, attentive, and always available to help with anything we needed—from local guidance to ensuring our comfort. His professionalism and warm hospitality made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The staff overall was very polite and service-oriented, and everything from cleanliness to service quality was top-notch. We truly felt at home despite being away from home. Highly recommended for families and groups looking for a comfortable, serene, and well-managed resort experience in Indonesia. We would definitely love to visit again!
