I will absolutely stay here next time I'm in the area. It's a beautiful hotel with impeccable service.
The on-premises restaurants are phenomenal. Do check out the specials at the restaurants and the chefs brunch. The club has a nice buffet if you don't want to go to a restaurants and it's bar service is excellent.
Customer service is obviously a top priority for all of the staff. You can have a room with a fantastic view of the Grand Mosque or of the pool and Canal. My first room had a great view of the Grand Mosque but it was a little warm for my taste so I switched to another one that was perfect.
The pool area is superb and has Beach access. There is no shortage of chairs with various levels of shade. Later in the afternoon into the evening the pool is well shaded but you can get lots of sun earlier in the afternoon. Food and drink service at the pool are excellent. I liked everything entree and cocktail that I tried.

I made a reservation for a two-night stay at this location to celebrate my husband's birthday. The three-bedroom villa we booked was well-designed and equipped with practical amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen, a separate laundry room, and a reasonable-sized pool with a barbecue area. Except for the maid's room, each room had a television. The view of the Grand Mosque from the location was stunning. Before our arrival, they had decorated the bed with flowers for the birthday celebration.
However, we faced several shortcomings in terms of service. Despite requesting a baby high chair and a baby cot with a pillow, the chair took 45 minutes to arrive, and the cot did not come with a pillow. We also experienced issues with the telephone line. Our requests for housekeeping services, including cleaning leftover lunch plates and providing evening turn-down service, were not fulfilled. Additionally, there were ants in one of the guest rooms.
The response from the housekeeping team regarding the leftover food was unsatisfactory, and we missed the breakfast we had paid for to discuss the matter with the supervisor. After discussing this with the housekeeping team supervisor, we were accommodated to have breakfast in the villa while the cleaning and pest control were carried out. However, the in-room dining supervisor came and served food without an apology, which we did not consider complimentary as we had already paid for breakfast. The housekeeping team and in-room dining staff seemed to point fingers at each other regarding the responsibility for cleaning leftover plates.
Moreover, the service at The Forge Steakhouse was lacking, too. Despite having a 16-month-old baby with us, it took 40 minutes to serve the baby's food, and we experienced long wait times of more than 2 hours for main courses when there were not many guests around. The staff maintained a hands-off approach until we proactively requested beverage and meal service.
Overall, while the accommodation and amenities were satisfactory, the service and responsiveness to our requests were disappointing.
The breakfast buffet offered diverse food options, which we found pretty enjoyable. However, we observed that the service was lacking in attentiveness and efficiency.
Merissa from the reservation team went above and beyond to accommodate an early check-in, showcasing exceptional customer service skills.
While checking out, I interacted with AFOM Sophia. She expressed gratitude for my feedback and appeared genuinely apologetic.
The accommodation and facilities are 10/10, the service in the facility is 4/10, Forge Restaurant's service and food are 2/10, and the breakfast buffet is 8/10

I’ve probably stayed here 20+ times in the last 15 years, it is the only hotel I will stay at in Abu Dhabi. The hotel is fantastic, restaurants are fantastic, pool is fantastic, but the most important thing here is the staff. It’s stunning how far they will go to use your name, remember what you like to eat or drink, and anything else to make you feel like royalty. I have become personal friends with several members of the staff but I’m treated the same even by those I’ve never met. Truly a home away from home!

What an amazing upscale hotel. Beautiful renovated rooms, beautiful lobby, they have a huge pool with cooled water, private beach (though the water is not great…) and perfect service. Also the breakfast is great with a big selection. Overall a really great hotel! 🏨

I absolutely LOVE this hotel. The staff is just amazing, and make you feel right at home. The food, the restaurants, gym and other facilities are top notch. I always recommend the Ritz to visitors and business folks coming to AD.
There are too many people to thank from the staff here, but you will not go wrong with this hotel. 5 stars all the way!
