Very comfortable accommodation, especially for families with small children. Beautifully arranged garden, friendly staff. Breakfast for everyone's taste, there was always plenty of exotic fruit. The only complaint about the equipment of the gym, it could be a little more equipped. Recommended hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Shell Sea Krabi, and it was nothing short of amazing! This resort offers a perfect blend of luxury and natural beauty, making it an ideal getaway. The location is stunning, right on the beach with breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea. The sound of the waves and the beautiful sunsets provided a serene backdrop for my stay. The resort itself is beautifully designed, with modern amenities and a relaxing atmosphere. My room was spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated, featuring a private balcony that allowed me to soak in the gorgeous scenery. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. However, there's a weird taste of "Tap Water" not sure how to describe it LOL. The resort also offers various activities, from spa treatments to excursions, which I highly recommend. The staff were very helpful in arranging tours to explore the surrounding areas. Overall, Shell Sea Krabi exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s the perfect destination for anyone looking to relax and unwind in a beautiful setting. I can’t wait to return!

Our room was clean. We had a garden view room which felt more private than a pool view room. The breakfast buffet and Fin Bar had a variety of dishes and beverages everyday, including vegan friendly options. The culinary is clean (I’ve seen dirty culinary in other hotels laying around the breakfast buffet waiting for the next victim). The Toilets are clean. The housekeeping and receptionists are highly responsive and helpful. The guests are respectful (strange, but guess what? You don’t want to be in the middle of loud chewers and hungry guests racing for the last slice of bread or coughing on the stir fried veggies.) The beach is right across the pool and I think it is a walking distance from the shell cemetery but I’m unsure if it is easily accessible or safe if you walk or swim to it. The kettle is clean. The water may leak out of the shower box. Be careful as it may get slippery. There is a bidet (Shattafa). Don’t take the slippers or flip flops offered by the hotel home. The hair blow dryer is good, 2000 watts.

The rooms are clean and spacious, other than that the hotel did not impress me, and I wouldn't say that it's a luxury hotel. The service is standard, the food selection at breakfast is very limited. We mentioned that it's our honeymoon, and considering that it's a "luxury" hotel we could expect a small amenity, but nothing happened. We had a huge cockroach in the room in the middle of the night (which can happen). Someone came but couldn't kill it and the cockroach escaped. He asked us to call back if we found it again. From a luxury hotel, we could expect a room change, considering that we had to look for the cockroach again as we couldn't sleep back. Needless to say that no one checked on us or in the room to see if everything was fine after that. We did not try the hotel's facilities as it was raining, but the surroundings are nice and it has a beautiful view over the sea. We stayed in a lot of luxury hotels and therefore I would say that this hotel is a premium mid-range hotel. Despite the cockroach and the limited food selection, the stay was pleasant but I wouldn't go back.

Unfortunately, our stay at ShellSea Krabi Hotel was extremely disappointing. The food was terrible – both restaurants in the hotel had the exact same menu that never changed throughout our 10-day stay. We were forced to eat the same dishes every single day, which became unbearably monotonous. The rooms were poorly cleaned, with a lack of attention to detail. Additionally, the air conditioning in the room was a major issue – there was no way to adjust the temperature, and it was freezing cold. This led to me falling ill with a sore throat and eventually developing tonsillitis. The pool area was another letdown, as there were no available sun loungers. We had to beg the staff to arrange something for us and our friends, which was embarrassing and incredibly frustrating. For a hotel that markets itself as high-end, this was unacceptable. The price of this hotel is absolutely not justified by the quality of services provided. On top of that, the staff appeared unwilling to help, often acting as though they were doing us a favor whenever we requested anything. Their lack of English proficiency only made matters worse. I cannot recommend this hotel – the list of shortcomings is far too long, and it fell drastically short of our expectations given the premium price we paid.
