We stayed four nights in a Garden View Room. The resort itself is lovely and beautifully located, but there are a few things that could be improved before it truly feels like a 5-star experience. At the adults-only pool, there was no menu or service available for drinks and snacks, which would have been nice to have. The TV in the room only offered standard channels — it would be great if it supported internet access to watch YouTube, Netflix, or online TV. We had a rental car and chose to have breakfast outside the resort, so we can’t comment on the breakfast options. Mosquito nets on the balcony doors are missing, so it wasn’t possible to keep the doors open for fresh air. Noise from the corridor, especially when cleaning staff passed by, was quite noticeable — perhaps some better sound insulation or other roomdoor could help, as our sleep was often disturbed. On the positive side, all the staff were extremely friendly and always greeted us with a smile. The resort offers a wide variety of activities, which is definitely a plus. We didn’t try the spa, as the prices seemed quite high compared to what you can find in the city. Overall, it’s a nice resort with great potential — a few adjustments could make it a true 5-star experience.

A Truly Heartwarming Stay – Thanks to Kritz! We had an unforgettable experience at this hotel, and a big part of that was thanks to the incredible receptionist, Kritz. On our very first day, we lost our wallet, which was a stressful situation—especially since most of the communication around us was in Thai. But Kritz went above and beyond to help us. She was with us every step of the way, assisting with translation, making calls, and offering genuine support. Her kindness and dedication made us feel truly cared for. Kritz is not just helpful—she’s incredibly warm and welcoming. She made us feel comfortable and safe, and her presence alone was enough to make our stay feel like home. We’re genuinely grateful for everything she did. As for the hotel itself, it’s a quiet and peaceful retreat, perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. The facilities are well-maintained, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind. Highly recommended—not just for the serene location, but especially for the exceptional service from people like Kritz. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

We stayed at The ShellSea Krabi during our honeymoon, after a month in several genuine 5-star hotels — so we had a fair point of comparison. Unfortunately, this resort does not meet 5-star standards. • Breakfast: Average, with very oily dishes. • Facilities: The pool looks beautiful in photos but is quite small, and the water is uncomfortably warm. There’s no staff presence around the pool — if you want a drink or towel, you have to go to the bar yourself, which feels far from a luxury experience. • Room: The room had a very strong artificial air freshener smell that gave us a headache. Only two tiny soap bars were provided, so we had to buy toiletries from 7/11. • Beach: Despite the “private beach” description and marketing photos, there’s no real beach access. The tide recedes hundreds of meters, leaving only rocks and mud flats — swimming or even walking on the beach isn’t possible. • Service: The staff were genuinely friendly and polite, which we truly appreciated. Stayed for 2 nights (25–26 Aug). • The stay overall was good. • Breakfast spread was nice, but unfortunately no Indian vegetarian options were available. • Standard check-out time is 12 pm. Since my flight was in the evening and my wife was not feeling well, I requested for a late check-out. Thanks to Nam at the reception, we were kindly allowed to stay till 1 pm. 🙏 Appreciate the hospitality, but a little more flexibility and inclusion in food options would make the experience even better.
