This is definitely not a 5-star experience. Anyone calling it “the most beautiful hotel” likely hasn’t stayed anywhere else. We booked a room for three people under an all-inclusive package, but upon check-in, we were informed that the package only covered two guests. The third person had to pay separately in cash. The cash menu is overpriced, with a 10% service charge, 7% sales tax, and an expectation for an additional tip. Service in the restaurant is incredibly slow, even during off-peak times.
Our room was in a building all the way at the back of the resort, and to reach it, we had to climb an extremely steep hill at about a 45-degree incline. This got old really quickly. On our very first night, my 21-year-old son suffered from food/alcohol poisoning, which resulted in a night of vomiting and diarrhea. We ended up staying only one night before checking out early.
The infrastructure is in need of serious updates, and there’s not much to do during the day. Plus, the hotel is far from any other attractions. The place is crowded with large groups of Chinese tourists, making it feel overrun. Overall, the high costs, coupled with mediocre service and facilities, give off the feeling of being ripped off. Anyone who has stayed at a true 5-star resort would immediately recognize that this place falls far short.
In conclusion: this resort is extremely average, with facilities and service that don’t justify the price.

Despite being one of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed in. The caveat is the pure lack of service and quality control.
My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and it’s safe to say that we have not been blown away by the food, drinks or service. We can’t believe how much of a struggle it has been to get a good bite to eat or even a drink (the coffee is truly awful here, iced or hot) IF they remember to bring it to you! I had a chicken burger that was like I was biting onto a pebble from the beach.
Food and drink is very expensive in general. I understand it’s a hotel and I expect hotel prices - but I also expect hotel quality and standards for those prices which has not been the case.
Safe to say we will not be returning unless the overall quality control is improved.

The hotel room was big, but there was always so much humid because of the AC the floor was literally wet all the time no matter how much we cleaned it.
The restaurants and room service are over priced, as well as massage (was around 3000-4000 baht when in Phuket town around 300 baht for one hour).
You would expect 5 star hotel to be more expensive, but not 10 times expensive.
Wifi wasn't reliable, always vanished at some point.
The staff was nice mostly and tried to help, but many of them didn't speak English well.
(I mean, it is ok if the cleaning lady don't understand me, but when I did check out, the lady at the counter did not even understand we want her to take the charge for the room for the deposit we left upon check in. But she could'nt understand so we had to pay separately the charge of the room)
Besides that, it is a beautiful place, and the breakfast is Excellent.

As a Marriott Ambassador Elite member, I have had the privilege of staying at incredible properties around the world. But my recent experience at The Westin Siray Bay Resort & Spa in Phuket truly stood out as exceptional, making me feel like part of the family from the moment I arrived.
Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by name, and it was clear from the start that this wasn’t just another stay – it felt like coming home. Every staff member I interacted with was genuinely caring, with special recognition to Frank and Kathy, who went above and beyond to ensure my every request was met with thoughtfulness. Whether it was helping me choose different room types to excite future travelers to Thailand or simply taking the time to listen to my needs, their attentiveness was unmatched.
A huge shout-out to Milky at the Westin Tour desk, who made sure I had an amazing tour experience. Her English was excellent, and she, like 99% of the staff, displayed professionalism with a personal touch that made every interaction enjoyable.
The hotel also played a role in making my friends’ anniversary a memorable one. Though they were just visiting, the staff surprised them with a special anniversary cake, a gesture that deeply touched all of us. These thoughtful details are what make the Westin Siray Bay a truly special place.
The property itself is stunning and easy to navigate, thanks to the amazing Golfcart transportation team, who were always friendly and professional. They went above and beyond, helping with my bags and even placing them in the closet the way I preferred, all with smiles that made me feel welcome. Their service was so genuine that I never felt like it was done for a tip – it was done from the heart.
The activities offered throughout the day were fantastic, and I loved that they had bicycles available to explore the resort and surrounding areas. While I didn’t order room service (the beautiful restaurants were too good to pass up!), I saw many guests enjoying it as an option.
Having traveled the world and stayed at many Marriott properties, my expectations are quite high. The Westin Siray Bay exceeded them in every way, showing incredible care and love in everything they do. This resort is a hidden gem that offers both luxury and warmth, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Phuket.
Thank you, Frank, Kathy, Milky, and the entire team at The Westin Siray Bay for an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to return!

My stay here has been enjoyable. I stayed here with my family of 8 Pax. Enjoyed the resort with nice views, good service, friendly staff and facility.
The resort is a bit dated but fairly maintained. The ambiance is nice but the resort needs refurbishing as it is old.
My family took 2 different packages (2 of them fully inclusive and the rest with lunch and dinner).
The children enjoyed the pool, kayaking etc.
Thank you for the enjoyable stay to your staff. Just that the cleanliness can be improved.
