Good hotel with real resort feeling. On site restaurants are well frequented (maybe except for the Italian place) and therefore you are not waiting ages for your food nor having out-of-stock items. Service staff could be better here and there and value-for-money on some things aren't ideal. Overall great though and better than other five-star hotels we have visited in Hua Hin. Will come back for sure.
Make sure to book directly it's giving a much better deal and benefits.

Very warm welcome, staffs are very helpful. But sorry there is no elevator. Foods are great and variety. Room is clean and spacious; however, there is no tub for children to play bubble. Foods in restaurants are quite expensive even though there is 600-baht discount voucher. Appetizer costs 400 baht.

Wonderful resort that was a pleasure to stay in. The rooms were big, comfortable and quite luxurious, they were very clean as well. The resort is very compact - getting from one place to another takes little to no time. The beach is small but quiet, and the pool is to die for. My friend went to a massage at the spa and said it was amazing as well.
My favorite part of the hotel was the breakfast - a wonderful selection of both western and local dishes. The noodle station was a highlight, I recommend trying the soups.

We came here as my friend got married on the resort. When we first arrived from Bangkok we were met in a very large open traditional themed Thai reception area......very impressive. We were also greeted by a parrot (Rocky). Check in was fairly smooth and the concierge staff promptly took our bags to our room. When we arrived to our room, we were very happy with the quality of the room and the view out to the sea, with our own little terrace area. The staff were all very polite, friendly and professional. I took advantage of the pool, where the water was just perfect. The breakfast had a wide range from continental to Asian themed foods...all of which were very nice. Outside of the resort, there's not much to see and it's around a 10 min drive to the beach or night market. If you use the local taxi app (Grab), you can get a taxi into town quite quickly at a very cheap price. If I did have something to pick at, was that there were works taking place near our room so I didn't fully take advantage of the view other then the early morning sunrise (epic). All in all, it was great stay and would be happy to return.

Me and my friends had to carry our 20kg luggage and go up the stairs in order to get to our room.
I understand the hotel is under renovation, I hope there will be elevators in the future.
I was struggling with my luggage when we were checking out since we had to go up the stairs to get to the check out counter. Fortunately, a staff helped with one of my luggage.
Very helpful and heartwarming moment.

This lovely hotel is in the quiet part of town. If you want a relaxing holiday then this is the place for you! The staff are friendly and were always super helpful! I went with 2 girl friends and had a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony. Right next to the hotel on the beach is where you can find beautiful massages and divine home made food! We had a massage twice a day and ate so much good quality food. This hotel also has a coffee shop & spa onsite. Those prices are similar to what you would find in any resort. The hotel buffet breakfast was wonderful with so many options. Don’t miss sunrise on the beach. It’s totally worth it! I was disappointed with the selection of food for dinner at the resort buffet but it came with the room so we tried it. I would prefer to support the family owned restaurants for dinner. I think the only thing missing from this beautiful resort is music by the pool bar. Well done Veranda,it was an absolute pleasure bringing in 2025 with you! Oh I forgot!!! The fireworks on the beach for NYE were the best I’ve ever seen.

A really cozy hotel in Cha Am, in a quiet area where privacy is your best friend. The entrance sign on the roadside is pretty hard to spot. At the end of a pretty narrow road is where Veranda is situated, right next to the beach.
We upgraded our stay to 2-bedroom duplex saltwater pool villa with a really reasonable upgrade price. We love the layout of this duplex especially the in-ground jacuzzi that gives you a feeling of a private spa. However, the main light switches are weirdly located right next to the refrigerator. The villa is pretty worn-out with signs of retouching throughout the entire place. Stains on most fabric furnitures. Great selections of breakfast starts from 6:30-10:30 daily. The senior security staff are extremely helpful and polite! thumbs up!
Overall, a really great stay with peaceful and private atmosphere. Though some upgrades of room touchpoints are required. A clean and playable beach.

A delicious buffet type Christmas dinner was served on an adjacent beach. The buffet included pasta, seafood, chicken and beef. The cheese selection included wonderful blue cheese. There was a variety of desserts. They were very sweet and tasty. There was live music and a few speeches for entertainment. Overall the dinner was a pleasant and enjoyable event.

I recently attended the wedding of my friend’s daughter at this venue, which is an excellent destination for weddings. I stayed for three nights and had a pleasant experience overall.
The rooms were well-maintained and comfortable. The reception staff was very welcoming and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay. Housekeeping was generally efficient in fulfilling requests when contacted. However, I did encounter an issue with the room cleaning staff—one particular lady was quite rude and did not clean the room properly. On one occasion, she even refused to provide an extra tea bag. While this was a minor inconvenience, it did not significantly impact my stay.
Despite this small drawback, I had a great experience, and I would recommend this place for a wedding or a comfortable stay.

A beautiful hotel that exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, Natasha ensured our stay started on the right note—making the check-in process smooth and enjoyable while taking care of all our needs. Honestly, it was the best check-in experience we’ve ever had! The rest of the staff were equally professional and well-trained. Our room was excellent—beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The hotel’s central location made it easy to explore the area, and being right next to a stunning beach was a bonus. We were so delighted by both the hotel and Hua Hin that we wished we had planned a longer stay.

Amazing hotel in Hua Hin. We stayed for 4 nights and loved it.
The hotel has multiple wings, and they are all nice, with the expiation of the city wing.
The rooms are nice there as well, and there is a pool on that side, but you have to cross the road to get from the hotel to the main area and back. Not a huge issue, it has a walkway, but it’s a bit of a treck through several elevators.
There are multiple restaurants on site and always have events.
All in all, we loved our stay and would come again.

We were traveling with a four-month old baby and without asking, the hotel added a baby cot for us in the room. We were so impressed on how thoughtful the hotel team was. Following that, we booked Azure restaurant and out of consideration, Elf in front team kindly suggested a table good for a baby for us too. The beach and pool also great.

The hotel's grounds are clean and aesthetic. The rooms are big with a nice sea view. The beach is beautiful as well. But the highlight was the food - the dinner at Azure and the breakfast were both wonderful. Specifically, the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had.

From the moment you drive into the property, the experience is an absolute pleasure. You’re greeted not only with warm smiles but also by a lovely scent that fills the entire hotel. The staff take excellent care of your luggage — while you’re checking in, your bags are already on their way to your room. This is a thoughtful touch, especially if you’d rather avoid the awkwardness of figuring out whether to tip.
The pool area is fantastic both day and night. It has a calm yet lively energy that makes it easy to relax. All of the restaurants on-site are wonderful, with staff who are consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful.
The rooms are spotless and smell fresh — no trace of dust, and everything feels new. Even if you’re not facing the sea, the beautifully maintained gardens give the space a refreshing atmosphere. This hotel will have been great once but today its showing its age.
Scruffy round the edges, service ok, rooms ok. Location is in the middle of nowhere, a good 10-15 mins cab from central Hua Hin.
It is definitely not a five star hotel, it’s a midrange 4 star at best.
No massive issues and generally an ok place but not the standard you would expect. Little things like slow service, a steak restaurant running out of steak, showers like a trickle running hot and cold, mould on bathroom ceilings, broken mini fridge etc, all just tired. Would not stay again.

Spacious room with great price!
We got a villa to ourselves with our own little pool. The room was very spacious and clean. The pool is in a good size and well cleaned as well.
Love the shower and the bathtub. Wish that the lock is a little more secured so we feel a bit more at ease inside but apart from that everything is good.
Breakfast choices were fine and the taste was okay as well. I expected more from a Thai breakfast buffet but it wasn’t bad.
Staffs were nice and welcoming!

Relaxing stay in a beautiful pool villa – 4/5
We stayed one week at Mövenpick Asara Resort between Cha-am and Hua Hin – two adults and our 15-year-old son – and had a great time overall. The resort is stunning, and our pool villa was spacious, private, and well-maintained.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of fresh options, and while the restaurant prices weren’t cheap, they were on par with typical hotel rates. The fitness room was small but had what we needed.
There were a few small drawbacks:
• The beds were a bit too firm for our taste.
• Leaves in the pool were only cleared once during our stay, which could be improved.
• The air conditioning was tricky to balance – quite cold during the day and too warm at night.
• The area had quite a lot of mosquitoes, likely due to the lush garden surroundings and water features.
The beach is accessible for a couple of hours during low tide, and the resort is about 15 minutes from Hua Hin center by Grab.
All in all, a beautiful and peaceful place to unwind. We’d give it 4 out of 5 stars and would recommend it, especially for couples or families looking for a relaxing, private time.

I just returned from a weekend stay with my family, and we had an amazing time! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location, not far from the beach and nearby attractions.
Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious with many choices, both Thai and international. One of the best parts of our stay was the mini foam party by the pool, which was perfect for the kids to cool off and have fun. They had a blast!
The hotel also has a large and beautiful pool where we could relax. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and we will definitely come back to Movenpick Hua Hin again!

We enjoyed 6 days at Mövenpick Asara pool villa, which included breakfast, half board and a massage. Honestly a brilliant experience. Rooms were clean, very private and comfortable. The resort facilities are excellent and we had a couple of days where we hardly left the resort.
Mr Joey came around one evening and introduced himself to us and we had a nice chat with him while Cindy at the restaurant was very accommodating and remembered not only our room number but also how we liked our meals.

My partner and family booked this hotel as a surprise birthday gift to me and we had such a memorable holiday here.
The staff went above and beyond to make sure our experience was nothing short of amazing, although they appeared to be very short staffed.
Our bartender, Off who runs the cocktail bar in the evening is such an amazing character and quickly became part of our family. He knew our preferences after just one night and made sure everything was as it should be in the following days. Funny, light-hearted and incredible service - a true representation of the beautiful Thai hospitality.
Vanessa took care of us every morning at the breakfast buffet and was so incredibly sweet, providing the same 5-star service as the night team and running non-stop, and always with the most beautiful smile.
Polly was our cleaner and after the bottom of my bikini went missing, she turned the entire hotel upside down to find it and always left the most beautiful treats for us in our room.
To make the week even more memorable, the staff arranged the most beautiful surprises for my birthday, Valentine’s Day and everything in between!
Our family had a range of villas so we got to see all the hotel had to offer. All of them superb. The pool villa especially with the floating breakfast was a big hit.
Paul the manager was incredibly hands on. He was everywhere, all the time and had everything under control and was incredibly personal, checking in on the guests.
I spend a lot of time in hotels and I must say, the personalised service offered was refreshing.
The entire team made a lasting impression and we have loved every minute.
A huge thank you to all, we look forward to seeing you again 🙏🏽

A very prestigious hotel set in a great location in Hua Hin Thailand.
The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Service is of high standard and very friendly.
My room was facing the sea and grounds. Rooms are a good size, with a very comfortable bed and crisp white sheets.
Love the bath robe, flip-flops and beach bag to use during your stay.
It’s a beach fronted hotel, so no sun loungers actually on the beach. The breakfast is very enjoyable and the chef at the egg station is super friendly and remembers your order. Location is brilliant.

We stayed here as part of a golf trip (Feb 17-20, 2025). Beautiful property with large landscape and right on the water. It is in the city but private & secluded. We stayed in a Junior Suites with partial view of the bay. To be honest, our suite was bigger than a typical presidential suite: Very large living room, large bedroom with California King bed, walking closet, long balcony, .etc. Our room was called Preston Suite (room 252). Our understanding was that not all rooms have the same design ...some Suites have 2 floors ..etc. Breakfast was included and free happy hour until 7pm (beat part)

An Elegant Stay with Room for Improvement
Centara Grand Resort & Villas Hua Hin is a hotel that undoubtedly embodies the elegance of a 5-star property. From the moment you arrive, the staff greets you with warm Thai hospitality and an atmosphere of understated luxury. Every request is handled with the utmost care, and you truly feel the five-star treatment throughout your stay.
The hotel itself is a testament to old Thai charm, with its traditional architecture and a lush garden setting that feels like a tranquil oasis. The grounds are impeccably maintained, and the abundance of greenery creates a natural, peaceful ambiance. However, certain areas, like tiles and walkways, do show their age. The resort is vast, requiring plenty of walking, but it adds to the sense of space and grandeur.
The multiple pools are a delight, offering options for relaxation. Booking the club benefits was a wise choice—it adds a layer of exclusivity and privacy, especially during breakfast in the quieter club lounge. The evening cocktails and canapés, along with refreshments throughout the day, elevate the overall experience.
Unfortunately, the villas were a disappointment. My initial beachfront villa had greasy, dirty windows due to nearby cooking and a constant kitchen smell, which was off-putting. The staff kindly offered me either another villa or a duplex suite as an alternative. I chose to stay in another villa for its outdoor rain shower and bathtub, which were highlights. However, the patio was underwhelming, with uncomfortable beach chairs and a stark white design that felt too bright and uninviting. The cleanliness of cushions and some worn upholstery also needed attention. Despite good maintenance overall, the all-white interiors amplified visible stains and dirt, detracting from the coziness.
The spa had a wonderful atmosphere with professional therapists and high-standard rituals, but the experience was inconsistent. My first massage felt rushed, with the therapist returning too soon after telling me to relax and enjoy the tea at the end. While the staff was accommodating after I raised concerns, the second massage was cut short by nearly 10 minutes. They did compensate me, but the lack of smooth procedures left me less impressed.
In conclusion, the resort excels in service and hospitality, and its rich heritage and beautiful grounds offer a unique charm. However, the lack of coziness in the villas and the operational frictions at the spa were notable drawbacks. While I appreciated the overall stay, I likely wouldn’t return due to these issues and the sheer scale of the property, which felt less personal.

We stayed here for 3 nights and we did enjoy our stay.
Rooms are a bit dated, however comfortable, and have everything you need for your stay.
Service was exceptional with the buffet breakfast, which is very strong, and the service is excellent.
Location is exceptionally good with direct access to the beach. There are 4 pools so lot of space. Must mention the very dedicated staff that looks after the garden and the space.

Hotel staffs are attentive and polite. We can get room before check in time if there is available room. The buildings are classic style and no elevator. It’s quite long way to the beach front, however the trees and flowers along the way make me feel refreshed and relaxed. There are many pools and all of them are clean and well maintained. Room is specious, bed is comfortable, bathroom has a huge bathtub. Dinner seafoods are fresh well cooked & grilled, grilled pork is so tender and juicy high recommend! Breakfast is good as well I like fresh fruit juice.

A Wonderful Resort for a Relaxing Escape
We always enjoy our stays at this beautiful resort, and it remains our favorite getaway when we want to escape from Bangkok. The low-rise buildings create a peaceful and spacious atmosphere, making it feel uncrowded despite the large number of rooms. There are plenty of cozy spots with sun loungers, and the resort’s design, surrounded by water features, adds to the relaxing ambiance.
The rooms are comfortable, and there are few dining options for lunch, dinner, and casual snacks. We were pleased to see that the food has improved compared to our past visits. However, it’s a pity that the Italian restaurant is only open two days a week, especially since the hotel is a 20-minute drive from the city, limiting dining choices for longer stays.
Breakfast is a highlight, with a large selection of quality food and a daily rotation that keeps things fresh and exciting. The service is attentive, and it’s evident that some staff members have been there for years, as they handle everything with professionalism and warmth.
A few small things could be improved:
• No placemats and proper napkins at breakfast means silverware is placed directly on the table, and only paper napkins are provided.
• The French press coffee was a nice touch in previous stays, and it’s a shame it’s no longer available for enjoying a morning coffee on the terrace.
• The empty minibar setup doesn’t seem to work well, as we’ve noticed this decline over our past visits.
Despite these minor points, the resort remains a fantastic place to unwind, and we look forward to returning.

FANTASTIC NEW YEARS EVE EVENT.

Things started poorly.
The toilets beneath the elephant statue were filthy, stunk of urine and the sink was blocked. We had to wash our hands using the showers! Really not acceptable and the Sheraton needs to address this.
Then we went to our table. As we were amongst the first to confirm our reservations, we were able to select a table overlooking the beach. However, further tables had been added to the floor plan we had selected from and, as a result, we were now on a small coffee table a row back from the beach. Not happy. Fortunately, we had arrived an hour early, so this gave the staff time to adjust our seating arrangements and all was good.
From this point on, it was perfect.
The food was superb. I went mad with the king crab, which is surprisingly filling. There was so much that I wanted to try, but I was just too full. There really was something for everyone. The deserts! Oh my, the deserts. Delicious.
The staff were fantastic and the pastry chef was particularly kind; when I explained my daughter's nut allergy, he brought deserts direct from the kitchen so there was no risk of cross-contamination. Very very kind and it made her day. Thank you so much.
The band was excellent, but the singing in English was so bad it was good; at points, I was crying with laughter. A very happy event and, looking around, I think everybody was satisfied with their decision to see the New Year in at the Sheraton.
The fireworks display at midnight was great and the taxi the Concierge had booked was waiting as planned.
Shaky start, but it turned into a fantastic evening. If I am in Hua Hin for New Year 2026, I will definitely be seeing it in at the Sheraton.

We stayed here for 1 week. Highly recommend. Beautiful setting, amazing and varied breakfast. Loved having a pool on the balcony. Did the cooking class with Add and Ker who were excellent and they were a lot of fun. Definitely recommend this if you want an insight into cooking Thai food.

I had a wonderful stay at this pool villa! The place was very clean, and I loved that the swimming pool was freely accessible throughout my stay. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. Most importantly, the staff provided excellent service. A staff member named “Bonus” was especially kind and welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable. This hotel is in an incredible location on the beach. Rooms are beautiful and each have their own private pool, but the pool on the water is beautiful as well. An amazing breakfast is also included. Absolutely amazing hotel. If you’re looking for a world class hotel this is the place to stay. Such modern, clean and spacious rooms. There is not one negative thing i can say about this hotel. It really is absolutely perfect. The attention to detail, the friendly staff and the food are all second to none and is really really special. I have stayed in many places all over the world but never had a room like this. The housekeeping is doing a sensational job, there is not one corner in the room that’s dirty or “old”. This place truly deserves more than a 5 stars review.
Special mentiom to Phimol, our waitress for the private dining on the beach, who is absolutely incredible. So friendly, professional, attentive, and in a good mood with a smile all the time. World-class service. Thank you!
The beach is very nice and you can see it from the pool area and from the restaurant.
The pool istelf is very nice and had a good size, also the sunbeds around the pool and on a level below the pool are really nice and comfortable and there is enough space all the time.
Breakfast is very nice and has everything you could wish for, also dinner quality is exceptional!

Amazing hotel. We arrived at 10AM and we could already check in. The rooms are huge and so is the bed. Pool is useless, because it’s super cold. We got the room closest to the reception, which meant street noise. Not a huge problem, because I sleep with my earplugs. No view from the room. The beach is probably the worst around here but no big problem, you walk a bit to the left or right.
The war for shade and sunbeds in front of the pool is real. My husband has serious problems with sun allergy and I had to go down early if I wanted to get shade. At 7.15AM all sunbeds with shade were already reserved. Most of them were empty till 11AM. The hotel has no reservation policy but don’t apply it. Huge minus for me.
Otherwise really no complains. Staff goes above and beyond for you.
Their restaurant is also really nice. We ate there every day. Some complain about the prices but I find them reasonable, it’s a 5* hotel. The good is delish. I tried a new local dish every day. I would like to give a special shout out to Phimol. Phimol, you made our stay better🙏🙏🙏🙏

The hotel is beautifully designed, with great attention to detail in every corner. The rooms are stunning and well-decorated. The stylish wardrobe is placed on the opposite side of the TV. The large round bathtub fills up quickly with strong water pressure, and the temperature is easy to adjust. The balcony is spacious, with seating that offers a nice view of the swimming pool.
The pool itself is large and includes fun pool toys. There are plenty of activities for kids to enjoy throughout the hotel, including an 18-hole mini golf course beautifully decorated with different fairy tale themes, pinnacle ball, a giant chess set, and bike riding.
There are multiple dining options, and the hotel is located right by the beach. The staff provides excellent service.

Warm welcome by check in reception, dinner and breakfast served at the Oven restaurant was good. The room was very spacious and with a huge round bathtub, comfortable sofa and personal desk, it was well maintained, clean and neat. All staff at the reception, restaurant, bungy car and spa was helpful treat guests with excellence service. The pool was amazing with challenging floats for kids to explore. The resort also have a mini golf course and garden, basketball court and bicycle to explore the beach. There are number of daily activities/tours for in house guests to join.

Hotel looks amazing and the website doesn’t do it justice. The spa is beautiful and the spa staff were so friendly and professional.
Only improvements could be the speed of service and room cleaning - we ran out of basic amenities in the room and our room wasn’t being cleaned until 5pm and basics like toilet roll not restocked. Requests on the app were ignored or marked as completed but not completed.
Coffees at breakfast would come once we had finished eating, we requested our bags to be collected 3 times and no one came.
The hotel looks 5* but the service is hit and miss and mostly very slow, other than the spa which felt like 6* service!

Perfect destination for our wedding! We spent 3 days here with 45 family and friends and it was beyond amazing! The rooms were beautiful, the breakfast was delicious and the customer service was impeccable. Highly recommend for a wedding - everything was expertly organised for us.

Everything was perfect. From check in, service at all the restaurants, room service and activities. The whole place was always incredibly clean and every single staff member was extremely accommodating and kind and very experienced. SO Spa was one of the best I've been to and the couple's massage package is a must do. Our children loved all the activities, from bike riding, putt putt golf, tennis and especially the water park! The food choices were amazing and would highly recommend the mango sticky rice. We enjoyed our holiday tremendously and will be making this an annual trip from now on!! Thank you SO Sofitel Hua Hin for the best hotel stay :)
