My husband and I stayed for 5 days for our honeymoon. We were greeted with a welcome drink when we checked in, shortly followed by a bottle of fizz in the room to recognise our celebration. This was really appreciated. There was an issue with the air conditioning not getting cold enough, the hotel were prompt in their response to this and sent a technician. The air con didn’t get the room cool enough, so staff very kindly allocated us a new room and helped us move our belongings. There are three pools, all of which are lovely and warm. Very calm environment, really quiet and zen. The food was excellent, really high quality & all staff were very friendly and attentive. The entertainment in the evenings was lovely too. Saxophonist, pianist and singers. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone that wants a quiet and relaxing break. We hope to return!

My wife and I stayed here for two weeks, overall our stay was very nice, the hotel is well kept, clean and the staff are very friendly. This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel, the first was over 10 years ago and I remember the breakfast selection being much better. We opted for pastries in the room for the entire second week as the breakfast wasn't worth the effort. We'd probably stay again but it would be better suited for us if we could book on a room only basis.

The hotel is wonderful, I would even say luxurious. Incredible service, daily clean towels and bedding. A large selection of dishes for breakfast and dinner. Various fruits, cakes and pastries are always given for dinner. This was my favorite part of the day.🥰Big, spacious rooms with beautiful views and a nice, modern bathroom. Tea and coffee machine available. That incredible terrace where you can spend romantic evenings. There are also several pools with salt and normal water and many sunbeds. Special thanks to the hotel for the birthday greetings, it was very nice and unexpected. 🥳 If possible, I will certainly use the services of this hotel more than once

Love it. This was our second stay at the Colon, we have also stayed once before in the sister hotel Jardins de Navaria, and we much preferred the Colon. The hotel is much smaller than the Jardins and all the better for it. Staff are very welcoming and always smiling. Our room overlooked the road which suited us as we don’t care for a pool view. Lovely big walk in shower with a rain shower head and a separate removable head. Bed was comfy, nice balcony and tea & coffee making facilities although if you use up the allocated coffee pods you need to buy your own. The food in the hotel is lovely, plenty of choice, loads of vegetarian options and beautiful amuse niche selection and desert selection. Pool area is lovely, enough comfortable loungers and nice pool towels. Can’t praise the hotel and its staff enough. The rooms and hotel are lovely and clean. We arrived extremely late at night from the airport and there was a table left set up in the dining room with salad, cold plate, fruit and juice, we were quite overwhelmed it was lovely. I recently stayed at the Colon Guaganahani hotel in Costa Adeje, Tenerife, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The hotel is situated in a tranquil area, providing a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. Its location is convenient, with Fanabe Beach just a leisurely 5-minute walk away. The food ranged from acceptable to good, with various options catering to different tastes. The staff were consistently friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall pleasant experience. The room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a large terrace equipped with sun loungers and an umbrella, perfect for soaking up the sun in privacy. However, the pillows were quite uncomfortable, making sleeping difficult. Unfortunately, I only discovered at the end of my stay that they could have been replaced upon request. In summary, this hotel offers a peaceful retreat with excellent service, but make sure to inquire about pillow replacements early in your stay for a more comfortable experience.
