This was a cheap and last minute holiday, for us and looking at reviews we were a bit worried but we should not have. The hotel is old and needs renovations but it’s clean and tidy. The food was bland but because of choice you could make a decent meal and the food was hot. The drinks were local but you could upgrade at an extra cost, the beer was San Miguel. Nice walk down to the town and harbour and taxi back up which was only 6 euros ( they do provide a free bus ). With the price we paid we could not complain ( a kettle in the room would have been nice )

Nice, large hotel.
Pleasant reception staff & staff throughout our stay.
Rooms were dated but comfortable.
Beds were uncomfortable with a plastic cover which led to sweating.
Towels were a little thin for my liking.
We experienced noisy neighbours one night, phoned reception security who attended but they carried on for a while, well after 1am.
Food at breakfast was acceptable with plenty choice.
Overall, had a pleasant stay for the price paid.

We paid £2000 for an all-inclusive week here in late February, includes flights and transfers.
A family of 4... in 2 rooms, next to each other (requested in advance).
The staff were great and helpful....we speak a little Spanish and try to be happy and polite.
It is not 4* but surely the score system in Spanish resorts is no surprise if you have travelled before.
The rooms were cleaned every day but Sunday. They are an older style and show age.I loved the memory foam style firmer bed. We tipped the cleaner and bar staff early in our stay. They were all, without question, helpful and polite.
We don't have kid's,at the kids' club age, but the animation team worked tirelessly for little rewards.
The pool is spotless ,a little chilled.
The food.... It's simple, and you have to be creative. We ate out a couple of times. Its lite food and light on meat.
You get what you pay for .....its a budget hotel, expect things on a budget.
You don't buy a family car and expect ferrari performance.
The downside.....
The location is 25 mins walk from the good bits of town and a tough walk uphill ,home. (Walk down cab home €8) If you have older teenagers they'll get bored. Some of the sunbeds are a bit crap.
For what we paid, we were happy with what we got.

The best part of the hotel are the entertainment team. Dani, Ivan, Maria, vanity well done and thank you for all the certificates.
The room was nice. And the food was good for an all inclusive. It is a budget hotel but for some sunshine drinks and food it was great.

Let's start on the top, you can see the sea and the snowcapped mountain from your breakfast table, and the hotel's own botanical garden is an amazing touch together with the classical music.
The cleaning personnels are doing an outstanding job which deserves recognition and even a tip.
Let's talk about the rooms... Our room was on the ground floor, it was spacious yet extremely dated. The fan above the bed was moving in one too many direction so we opted against using it. Having 2 huge light switches and a plug in the middle of the headboard of the double bed ensures your innocence at night even in a romantic setting.
Leaving our room for dinner we experienced the lower end of your cheap ready food: tasteless meatballs, cold chips and a desert selection not worth touching. The small bags of salt and pepper gave a lovely McDonald's feeling and the pizza with tinned tuna was an interesting touch, and the tasteless paella an offense to local culinary traditions, but didn't convince us enough to take advantage of our all inclusive package. The giant cockroaches in the restaurant were claimed to be a locally often experienced issue. Therefore it's not worth talking to reception staff about it, they won't listen to you anyways.
A smile in the bar might have to overcome the fact that you eat out every day but the bar staff received the appropriate training (apart from Jenny) to ensure management's goals: keep the guests away from their burning desire to come back here. In overall, we made the best out of our stay by staying away from the hotel and I strongly recommend the same to everyone else.
