We had a wonderful week at this hotel! It’s a shame about all the negative comments—they are not true! I was very upset when I read them and thought they were accurate. I even tried to change my reservation but couldn’t! In the end, I’m glad because I saw for myself—this hotel is great and absolutely worth the price! The rooms are spacious with a nice view. Yes, there is room for improvement, but don’t believe the negative reviews! The staff is amazing, they give their best and do an excellent job! Thank you for the great experience, and I wish everyone a pleasant stay!

I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews here - but my experience of the hotel was really good. Sure, the rooms look dated - but they were clean, the bed was comfy, there was endless hot water with good pressure and the WiFi worked well. My only "complaint" would be that the mini fridge wasn't very cold. The public areas were spotless, I enjoyed sitting by the pools, and the bar staff were all very friendly and accommodating. I'd never booked to include dinner before - but was amazed by the variety and quality of what was on offer! You could have pizza and chips.... Or you could have delicious fresh cooked fish, mutton chops, pork fillet stew! Salads and desserts were plentiful and varied - and all the staff were hardworking and pleasant. Overall I enjoyed my stay here - quiet and peaceful. And the 15 minute walk to the centre of town was a good way to get my steps in!

We are here right now, arrived new years eve! First impressions..good. don't listen to the terrible reviews. If you are friendly, smile and want to enjoy yourself, you'll be great here! All staff are welcoming, courteous and try their best..in my opinion. You'll always find a negative if you're looking. Something for all tastes at the restaurant although the hot food is just warm.. I eat mostly cold food so not a problem but even so, I'm sure you'll find something. I know already that I'd return - no problem and I bet in the summer, with higher temperatures, the experience gets better. New year's touches its party bags in rooms and entertainment was good as we're the fireworks at midnight all around. No noise as we are overlooking the sea..stunning views to wake up to. Bring an extension cable as plug sockets are limited.

Not great, but good value for money. Food is OK, good variety but not great quality. External area and swimming pool are very nice. Cleanliness and comfort of the bed could be improved, however the room was big. Good location and Puerto de la Cruz is so nice. Overall good value for money.

I was a solo traveller and stayed for 10 days 24 Feb to 6 Mar 25. The food was always good, though always just warm. That's probably down to my timing. There was evening entertainment every night. Room service was good and the hotel was very clean overall. It's only downfall is it's location. Possibly the furthest away from the resort centre.
