I recently stayed here and had a generally enjoyable experience.
The Great:
The food was exceptional—definitely 5 stars! Service was top-notch, and the pools were a highlight.
The Good:
The hotel itself and its location were convenient and comfortable.
The Mediocre:
Overall ok, but room cleanliness, especially in the bathroom, could be improved.

We are here at this minute and are having a lovely relaxing time. The rooms and hotel are spotless. The food is plentiful and varied. It's not too full at the moment so there are lots of sunbeds but sometimes the dining area is quite full and busy. The staff are lovely and helpful. One of the major gripes is the only evening bar, the que for drinks is ridiculous, limited bar staff and guests requesting cocktails take up time, an independent self service machine for beer would help. Location is good but it's a downhill walk to main shops and beach. Buses run regularly along to other resorts which are quite cheap. The weather this time of year is sunny and not too hot.

We have returned from our holiday today. The hotel is great for families. If you want a good spot by the main pool or the kids pool you have to be up early but there is a third pool that is much quieter.
The staff were all very good especially Tito in the restaurant who is always making a fuss of the kids and welcoming. The entertainment staff are excellent and full of energy but not in a in your face type 9f way and there is always something going on for both kids and adults.
The food was good on all theme nights except for the chicken being under cooked on one dish on one night but there was enough choice so this didn't matter.
The drink selection is excellent especially for an all inclusive as when we have gone all inclusive before it had been very restricted but not in the case of the allegro.
The evening entertainment was excellent whether it was the entertainment team or one of the many brilliant hired in acts it was engaging and well above the level you may expect elsewhere especially as it is in with the price.
The kids pool has an excellent waterslide which has a person overlooking it all day so the safety of the kids is taken care of.
There are a few decent shops close by and the beach is only a 10 minute walk away.
The air-conditioning in the rooms is good and there are blocks with lifts and ramps for disabled access.
The whole place is cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis.
All in all we had an amazing time, I'm the type of traveller who usually tries different places when I go away but we have decided to go back again next year and to put that into context I have never done that before ever.
Well done Allegro Isora and thankyou for an amazing holiday

A Re-review from day one.
Hotel room:- No safe in our room, to find 2 days later, it was removed for repair, another room was offered 3 days in, but this was too much of an inconvenience to us. We just did without and had to carry out valuables with us all week. We should of been told of this at check-in.
Only 1 mirror in the room, which was in the bathroom, no long length mirror available in our room.
Room's have been spruced up (wall papered and painted) but still look very tired, not to our previous 4 star quality from other hotels. Towels /Beds changed every day, there was lots of dust under the bed, yet a sign underneath saying "we clean under here too"!
Water pressure issue in block D from around 17:00 HRS - It was like a caravan shower - we also had a water outage for 3/4 hours - no communication was sent out to guests - this would of been appreciated, instead we were told water would come on at 20:30. After wanting to speak to a manager, they offered us a room to shower.
Food/Restaurants:- Can be very loud at peak times, I advise you go as soon as they open for lunch and dinner, the Spanish like to eat later on. Food was repetitive for breakfast as expected. Dinner was hit and miss as there was a lot of fish options - not something we're fans of.
Staff:- All friendly enough, bar staff were great (Juan Carlos very friendly) entertainment team worked really hard - they make the hotel.
Location:- A 15 minute walk right out of the hotel will bring you to a number of bars/shops and restaurants. We took a trip to Los Gigantes for an evening - the bus runs regularly and is about 3 euro each way.
Otherwise, a quiet immediate area outside the hotel.
Entertainment:- Evening entertainment was good from what we saw.
A little late for the kids disco at 9:15 then adults at 10:00 for an 11:00 prompt finish.
It would be nice for the entertainment/disco to continue a little later but this may be down to licensing.
Would I go again?
No - The lack of a safe/mirror and water pressure/supply let the hotel down aswell as damaged flooring/render.
The location was also not great for us. (No fault of hotel)

Fabulous time with 6 adults and 3 children. This hotel was amazing for the children, it had everything they could possibly want, from pools, 1 with a large slide, games room, table tennis (10€ deposit).
Lovely poolside animation team, daily aquasize and activities.
Loads of sunbeds.
It also had a self-service mini laundrette, which cost 5€ for an industrial sized wash, including detergent (Great when you've taken children, who like runny egg sarnies).
Always a good choice of food, themed every night. Such as Asian, South American, etc.
Great snack bar, around the pool with a bar and also a self-service drinks area.
In the main bar area, they serve trays of sandwiches and fruit late on. We never figured this out as it seemed to open at midnight and close 1 minute later (that needs looking at by the hotel).
You could have any drink you wanted, including a nice Cava on the AI and the bar staff we're lovely.
The rooms are apartments and very clean.
They had a 2 ring stove and microwave but no pans to put on the stove and did not have a kettle.
The hotel needs to look at this. Possibly provide kettles, and some tea and coffee, etc. It would have been nice to have a cuppa on the lovely balcony (waiting for grandson getting up)
The bedroom was comfortable and had a ceiling fan, which I loved. The rest of the apartment had free air-conditioning.
I would definitely recommend to family's or people who want to relax in a lovely hotel.
It's very hilly around the area. Gorgeous views of the sea, wherever you are but no way to get to it.
A nice restaurant over the road and a bar overlooking the sea, which did fabulous cocktails, 9€ each.
Recap.
Fabulous hotel, needs some tea/coffee and a kettle in the room.
Maid service, way too early (just after 8am) We're on holiday and don't want to get up.
Great pools, bar and food. Apart from the dodgy sandwiche issue at midnight (still confused).
We have decided to take the kids back next year, so would recommend and can't wait.
